I've watched 0079, Zeta, and couldn't finish ZZ. That franchise is a long toy commercial who tries hard to be dramatic and gritty but is actually simplistic and stupid. The characters and their actions don't make any sense (especially in Zeta, fuck Zeta and the story consists of the good guys going from A to B while bad guys lose to them and flee. Repeat that x times.
There's a lot more to say and I'm sure the non UC shows are even more awful, but Gundam is one of the most overrated franchise ever, and the fanbase is insuferrable. /m/ is more like a gundam board, filled with obnoxious faggots.
