As an adaption, this manga is fucking awful. Randomly cuts out entire portions of plot like the reason why the trio are now going to school, or the reason why his name is now Sirius Teacher when neither of his parents held that name.

He asked(bribed) his father into disowning him, and chose not to use his mother's maiden name of Elrand incase a branch family existed, so as to not annoy them. He chose Teacher as his new surname as that's what he wants to become. Specifically it's Teacher in English, a language that doesn't exist in that world.

Those reasons were shit anyway, just like everything else in the novel. No one has any real character of their own and half of everyone's dialogue involves sucking the MC's dick over how great and amazing he is at everything. He's also a cooking god and invented cake because ignorant isekai savages could have never developed fucking baking without him. There was a little girl who didn't immediately love the MC and suck his dick, and that was actually the main plot point of a mini-arc. Every other character found it unacceptable that the little girl didn't spend the entire time genuflecting before MC's omnipotent, omniscient cock. The conclusion of the arc is the little girl finally becoming a brainwashed zombie like everyone else.

God this series sucks.

I both hate and love the genre and I don't know why. I think it's because of that "fresh adventure" feel to it.
I like the idea of being dropped into a fantasy world, kind of like how some people wish something would go wrong in their boring lives so that the adversity could make things interesting.
I feel the same way about zombie apocalypse themes.

This new one is really good as far isekai goes. If anyone has tried dungeon seeker, this is similar but much better.
