who cares. it's a remake instead of an expansion. ball-drop imo. if you're going to remake something, why go for a 10/10 series?

If you want to do justice to the adaptation it needs to be at least 70-80 episodes long, but I don't see how that's even possible to do with the way the things are these days. Even Jojo can't manage 3 cours without heavy outsourcing.

Surely they're not dumb enough to hype a new project for years and then only do 2 or 3 cours?

For one, the original LoGH had a fair amount of outsourcing to other studios, so I don't see what the point is here. For another, Production IG is a bigger studio than David, and if you include the other IG Port studios as potential workforces, it's even bigger. I'm fairly certain it'll be a long series. Assuming it's TV, it might wind up with limited animation because of that (like Dia no Ace), but I'd be very surprised if it's short.

They didn't, really. They announced it, ignored it for like a year-and-a-half, and then reminded us it was coming soon.
