So Spiderman punching the planet makes no sense.
I can believe Spiderman can lift tons of weight because proportionate strength mixed with adrenaline which Spiders either do not have or can produce as much as humans and as such could probably hit quite hard, just we've never seen how hard. Best I can find it him throwing a punch that actually causes Hulk's head to turn, which means he could easily punch through solid concrete if he put everything into it.
