I very often drop shows introducing a loli as i hate this equivocal and revulsing concept that serves as pedo bait most of the time. It's a rule of mine to never tolerate it, and Schierke falls right into this "loli" ambiguity as she is this supposed knowledgeable, mature character (persona of the witch) while still being a physical child. But I love Berserk too much so i kept reading it, and well I don't hate her. Still, i am disappointed Miura decided to make her have a crush on Guts, as a father/daughter dynamic would've been a smarter choice (and one of greater taste too), both in pertinence and in the interest the character would've brought to the story, especially considering his talent for characterization. A true little girl, and not a fucking loli blushing around a grown man, these nips are fucked up.

If Guts decided to forgive Griffith, it would make Guts' entire journey pointless.

Do you honestly feel that way ? IMO it completely undermines Guts' desire to avenge the band of the hawk, if he has new comrades now.

He could just settle down and be happy with his friends. What is keeping him from doing that ?
