Another great, comfy episode. I'm glad we got to see Taki again.
More of Reiko's past for the next couple weeks will be nice and all, but that means no more comfy episodes like this one till the next season if we have one. In that sense I'm a little disappointed.

As much as I understand people and the mangaka getting tired of the standalone youkai stuff, I can never get enough of it.
6 seasons and I still want more.

God damn I was just thinking about how the season's almost over, and I almost cried. I guess with this season and the last being so close together you almost take it for granted, but this really may be the last season we ever get. 5 seasons is already more than almost any other recent anime, and while I'm very grateful, its also gotten me a bit greedy and I'm not ready for it to end. I want to hear "Oi, Natsume" every week for the rest of my life.

In all honesty, they have a lot in common. They both have somewhat spiritual pasts/lineages, but they aren't quite that powerful, so it would be difficult for them to be in Natsume's world, although they both try their best to understand him.

Man, even if I'm not particularly fond of the episodes that seem to push the running narrative forward, I still really like the later seasons a lot. Even after all this time it can still make my eyes a little watery once someone's narrating the resolution and the music starts to well up.

The week previous's episode threw me for a loop when an ayakashixhuman relationship actually sort of worked out for once.
