I can't find my scans at the moment, but look up netabare for volumes 5 and up if you know Japanese. They are already going on dates as of the latest volume. The two of them are pretty awkward together so the author might be leaving himself an out to pair Kyou with someone else, but she's been main girl for several volumes so I doubt it.
