The writers are pretty retarded, but there has to be a limit, even for them. There'd be no precedence for them killing off a main character four seasons in. Even for a show as tonally inconsistent as Symphogear, that'd be out of place.

So far, the main characters have cheated certain death multiple times - up to and including maybe even coming back from the dead - while the only actual deaths have been literally whos, minor side characters and villains. If anyone dies, it'll probably be a new character or maybe - maybe - someone like Genjuro or Ogawa. I highly doubt it'd be one of the main six, or Miku for that matter.

Why would you think anyone's going to die to begin with, anyway? Has any new information come out?

They won't kill any of the geahs, but if they had to the best candidate would be Maria or Shirabe. The first three are too iconic to kill off and Maria's story is practically done. There's no room left for her to grow, so they might just cut her. Kirika and Shirabe have plenty of room to grow but splitting them up would cause a lot more growth in the other. And Japan loves Kirika, so Shirabe it is

Chris would make the most sense, from a writing point of view. They haven't had any idea what to do with her since the first half of G. From a business point of view though I think the main trio would all be too important, so it'd probably have to be one of the FIS girls. My money would be on either Kirika or Shirabe, seeing as you'd basically only lose half a character. Although I really doubt they'll kill off any of the main characters. They've always had the thickest fucking plot armor. At this point it'd be pretty silly if one of them suddenly dropped.
