I guess he messed up and retconned them to oblivion by the end of the series.

I guess there was no way of making a compelling ending that gave the proper closure and didnt feel either rushed or streched, so he went for a simpler rushed ending.

Don't listed to the no-fun-allowed crew. It's a good entertaining read. The missions are great, but the development of characters outside missions and the crazy plot were even better.

I enjoyed all of it, especially Tae and the civilians being naked for literally 2 volumes.

It's no masterpiece but very very few manga are.

Except for her story arc in Katastrophe. It could have been the chance to let her employ some real agency but it was basically just her being handed off from one hostage situation to another for months on end until Kurono finally showed up.

There us a kit if frustration and disappointment to be had in later chapters, but early on i enjoyed it very much.
Its not the manga that failed most miserably as it went along, but its up there as having some of the most shit later parts compared to how it started off.

And i fucking swear, during the vampire arc everybody involved in production must had had a temporary stroke or something. It makes no fucking sense, shows up randomly, ruins everything good and then disappears never to be mentioned again.

Overall, meh. Better watch the new cgi movie, its Gantz at its best.
