It looks nice and has a proper high fantasy setting with a revenge story, that usually draws people in, but writing wise, it's like reading what Terry Goodkind dares calling a novel, especially with the overbearing sex scenes and how much it sucks mc's dick (oh he's the greatest, all the women want his dick and oh he's the wielder of the darkness of darky dark blade techniques and fuck, he gets the women over the edge all the time without even trying and...). On top of that it overstayed it's welcome and now it's just droning on an on aimlessly.

It turned to complete shit after Glenn revived. It was really shocking when MC outright fucks him up and would have been a interesting development, instead everything got reset and nothing that happening matters at all.

Remember that time the manga went on a long hiatus? I found it's okay because it came back. But then there was a wind tunnel with a dragon, that villain dude was freaking out, Glenn turned out alive, fired his lasers, the chapter ended and everything made sense but then the next chapter was a several-months timeskip and everything started making less sense.

Like one chapter suddenly was about the knight girl and her club. They went to some dumb country nobles for help against Glenn but then the dumb country nobles's son was her fiance and he was a giant mutant baby mutated by Glenn's mutant powers so she burned the stupid castle with the stupid manchild baby and said some hero words. What was the point?

I read it until the hiatus in 2009 or something. It was garbage then so I doubt I'd be any better now.
But I still remember the part where MC realized how hopelessly faraway he was from notGriffith. Shit was pretty good.

This is very apt. But I hate Griffith being in the same sentence as Glenn. The former is a good character and Gatts actually had a reason to think of him as a friend. For the most part, none of the seven heroes showed to be that friendly to the MC. They were all dicks back then; so it's no surprise they took the path of betrayal.

Ubell Blatt would of been the better manga compared to Beserk if it finished the fucking thing, sadly because of it's hiatuses it will be sub par but enjoyable.

I still like Claymore more than Beserk because despite the cluster fuck of an ending, it ended.
