Too much slapstick, not enough story.

The romance and Nino's backstory eventually takes a back seat to full on comedy in Season 2, especially when he stops being the sane man and becomes just another cooky resident.

I really loved the first season. The second season was good too but I disliked the amazon girl drama.
Nino is the cutest, yeah. Probably one of the best SHAFT girls.

iirc it was something like Nino was actually an alien from Venus all along and her people dies without love or something likee that, also she had a brother that accidentally was killed by the Kappa mayor, that's why he took care of Nino, by the end everyone in arakawa part ways and Nino and Kou stay together. Also Star x Amazoness endgame
