I think Sesuji was able to last as long as it did because it had a somewhat unique premise, especially for Jump. This looks like it'll get canned as soon as possible like every other sports manga Jump has tried recently. I hope I'm wrong though. Also, Yokota didn't write OMK so I doubt a cameo would happen.
The fact that Yokota is coming back so soon probably confirm that Sesuji wasn't axed.
Even back then many people wasn't sure if the series got axed or not since it ended right after the big arc and didn't have any loose end, it could be simply be the fact that Yoko didn't want to continue working on Sesuji and wanted to start a new series. I simply can't see Jump bringing back a mangaka they axed so soon (it been less than 5 month since Sesuji ended).
I still don't see how the hell that's going to end in a single chapter. Tesshi just met Samon's mom, that fuckboy recently proposed to Anri, neither Samon nor Tesshi have admitted their feelings, and most importantly, she hasn't fallen into hell.
To be more accurate, it says 'the cute heroine will make your heart pound!!'. Looks like shit, and it'll probably get axed fast -- the author's only done one-shots and a sports series that got a single tankobon.
