>started to watch pic related
>humans are almost non-existant and robots are eating each other to survive another day
>survival of the fittest scenario
>MC is guilty of everything wrong with the world
>he just wants to die to redeem himself
Fuck this thing is depressing as hell. Does it get better?
It's a polarizing show. I honestly thought it was a bit boring and it took a lot of time to present important things int the end. But I really enjoyed the episodic tidbits where he's just traveling a dying world as opposed to the plot centric part when the purple gay guy shows up. The tower episode was my favorite. Anyways, if if you get at that point and still enjoy the show you should continue it. It has great visuals, atmosphere, and a nice but depressing conclusion.
>and a nice but depressing conclusion.
I'm still not over it.
I made it to the episode where the little pink haired loli
I dont think the show is bad, but its pretty depressing for my taste. MC is depressed all the time and want people to off him but berserk mode interrupts him and makes him a killing machine.
It's hilarious just how depressing it is. One episode you think it bottomed out, but then the ending destroys you.
When the girl he meets in the first episode died, (Can't remember her name.) I cried for twenty minutes or so.
I watched the first 9 episodes. Its a 6/10 so far.
>MC literally ruined the world
>People and robots are just surviving.
>Robots are screwed since a kind of "disease" (oxidation) is killing them and the only way for them to survive(regenerate) one more day is to eat the weaklings or unaffected metal.
>Some are afraid of MC while some want to kill him
or eat him since hes the only robot who is inmune to oxidation
>MC is looking for redemption and sometimes he just wants to die to the point of letting his enemies hurt him
but he's pretty tough and enters into a berserk mode when his life is in danger, killing allies and foes in his path he cant also die since his body regenerates by causing him great pain.
I liked the opening song to the point I just cant skip it.
What a waste of time of an anime.
Story goes nowhere and it peaks in episode 2 or 3. I don't remember which one. Filled with purple prose, it seems like an adult gave a group of deep teens the themes of the show and didn't supervise the rest of the project.
All the fights look the same too, not that they accomplish anything anyway. Good artstyle tho'
well that's just like ur opinion man. All anime is a waste of time when you think about it.
I loved the art style, thought the soundtrack was good and loved how they created a world with such a dark tone to it. Was at times boring but a good journey nonetheless.

What did they mean by this?
Most people know the series from this, the OVA and the live action movie, so not much.
Are you the anon from the pre-2000 thread?
I saved all of your posts.
That part at the end.
Don't do that
The dub was good, though. But pick your poison.
Overall it has a very optimistic, hopeful message about finding the beauty in life. People just parrot about how depressing and miserable it is because they can't get past the melancholy atmosphere. Just watch it and actually pay attention to what it's saying.
Just wait until they actually find Luna
