Prison School is the laziest harem setting ever and is like 60% blatant fanservice by page count, and yet so far:
- No one has a harem or even a steady girlfriend
- No one has gotten laid and barely anyone even gets to cop a feel in most circumstances
- Actually full of humor that doesn't rely on sex or fanservice (though there's some that does for sure), and actually often funny beyond just Japan's low-ass standards for "humor", some genuinely good stuff
- Entertaining overdramatic plots for a while, but if you get to the "cavalry battle" and it's not already a favorite series of yours, don't push yourself, the whole arc sucks and is long and not enough is published yet to know if it's worth reading through to get to the next arc...though recent chapters have often been pretty funny, especially the Jewyoshi chapters

Not OP but I don't think that's an accurate assessment, anon. I personally find that I can't find a good show anymore. It used to be the case where each season had at least 1 decent show.

But now you'd be LUCKY to find 1 decent show to watch per year (not season mind you).

The quality has gone down such that even the shows that have potential drop the ball.
