Who's applying to the greatest studio of all time. Great thing I got my N2 last summer.
>>157905158
Assuming you're a frenchfag, the foreign animators get stuck doing grunt work in South Korea.
>draw your favorite animus on lined paper
>photograph them with a potato
>apply
>???
Would they even respond? Japs are polite right?
>>157905158
>work yourself to death for 16 hours a day for 1/5 of the salary you could get anywhere else
why would anyone do that to themselves ?
>>157905291
Muh passion
>>157905253
You forgot thousands of filters to fit the kyoani look
>>157905253
Yeah. They would not even belittle you.
>>157905291
You can brag about it on /a/ and spoiler episodes.
>>157905372
Nice priorities you got there
>>157905158
Do they specify what the pay is like? Then we can see if KyoAni truly pays better than most studios.
>>157905291
Aren't kyoani the only ones treating their employees like humans ?
>>157905432
You are no fun at all. When I become animator at KyoAni I will draw your waifu especially ugly.

>employees will receive a monthly salary of 200,000 yen (US$1,797)
Animators in Japan is legalized slavery, don't even bother
>>157905552
Polygon does treat their employees well.
>>157905571
It sucks but it's pretty good relative to what other studios pay.
>>157905571
1797 isn't even that bad, you wouldn't be rich but not a poorfag neither.
>>157905632
Anon, $2k a month is one step from McJobs-tier salary
>>157906352
Nah, Mcdonalds is $1.2k a month in most of US.($8/hr)
it's the equivalent of being paid $15/hr, which is about how much you'll be getting paid for any entry skilled level job
>>157905632
>$2k a month is one step from McJobs-tier salary
So basically your everyday people? Most people in my country gets under 2k a month and it's more than enough to live comfortably if you don't do crazy shit, I'm not even getting 1,5k a month and I can still put hundreds in figs or others merch each month.

Do you live in a major first world city with high cost of living?
>>157905158
Think of all the lonely female animators, anons. Now's your chance.
>>157906514
The only cities in which $2k is poor is CA or NY. Even so, what person wants to live in a major city? Even as a college student I was commuting from my apartment, away from the city.
>>157905571
Because it matters who draws the most audience, and that' usually the star actors, voice actors, etc. Although that image is a bit dishonest because it's not like voice actors don't have fees for agency, manager, etc.
>KyoAnus is getting desperate and hiring again after firing staff for flop dragon.
It can't be helped.
>>157906608
I always like /a/'s KyoAni fanfics.
>>157905291
Passion, basically. Things haven't really gotten worse for people in the industry because it was always an underpaid/overworked life, in fact they've gotten easier with new technologies, it's just that work load has increased DRAMATICALLY from some 25 years ago or so. Just compare releases per season.
>>157905552
by Japanese standards, maybe
>>157905571
I thought it was much worse than that, that sounds fair for an entry-level position.
