Whitebeard was the strongest character in the series at the time. Nami and Brook can neutralize her weather and soul powers. Also Luffy has been getting consistently stronger after every fight. He just beat a yonko commander and is due for a powerup. Capone can help house luffy to overcome his time limit for G4. We're 70-80% done with the manga and luffy still has to be able to take down yonko's one v 1, and will probably need to be far stronger than a "mere yonko" as said by Jimbe to become the pirate king. Its pointless to continue having BM in the story imo as the shitstorm after her defeat would be far more entertaining than having her there to be fought later. But we'll find out in a few weeks.
