There is enough edgy shit every season. If Shingeki or Tokyo Ghoul, which are both ripping off Berserk can get decent anime, I don't get why Berserk itself cannot. Far less popular manga has been adapted on moderate budget with alright animation. This animation is cheap hentai or yaoi level.

Aside from being shot in the foot from the start being based on the manga and the stories' autistic characters and mannerisms of Japanese cartoons, everything is raw.

It's like the studio just learned how to do something in 3D and then left it like that in the movie.
They move and are animated like Sentai or Power Rangers with their helmets on, but again this because Asians don't know how to act on film and animators exaggerate that flaw.

I'm not sure if they weren't able to rig properly or transfer the mocap data properly but the character are all stiff. There's hardly any fluid movement on the shoulders, waist or spine. Sitting down right now you can easily rotate your shoulder around and are familiar with its range of movement.

Now whenever a character raises their hand to aim their pistol, the arm is like on a swivel going straight up as though they are a doll. There's no rotation on the shoulder and chest.

Anyways I'm not going to go further since whenever I post long shit explaining flaws about something it's ignored and the thread shortly dies afterwords.
