To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if that was it, because after 10 years of spending most of my day at a computer desk for work/study/entertainment I started to have some slight back pain and discomfort, with a few rare occasions where some days I would be practically bedridden by pain. I got on top of that real quick and started doing pull-ups, chin ups, reverse crunches, etc, and some yoga to help my lower back.
