And I guess it was good and profitable for Sunrise as they can profit not only from the kits but character merchandising. Age and Greco again had no character merchan because no one gave a shit about the characters.

Well it sold over 3 million units of gunpla according tp bandai (which is very good).
The final quarter or so of the series is a massive downward slide with a crap ending though.

Loved every second of it, though the ending was weak, and too rushed. I wou have preferred to have at leas a full episode dedicated to the epilogue.

First half of both seasons is good, when it starts to feel padded it doesn't recover. The battle of edmonton was kinda cool, but I can't get over the idea fucking Edmonton is the center of an economic bloc and everyone I mention it to laughs their ass off.
