The MC being sad bitter fuck that just enjoys others being worse off than him is a bit enjoyable.

He's still a bit likable since he's not actively malicious and is just trying to be happy with his life. Other Edgy MCs would actively destroy lives for their satisfaction.

Hell, he even tries to make those close to him happy...he's not good at hiding how fucking bored he is about everything.

Subtle foreshadowing when Bell asked Jagasaki if all men choose whether or not they'd date someone the moment they meet and they never change their minds. Roba's waifu already met him and decided she wasn't going to date him ever, and Roba's gonna be let down hard by it.

He's probably gonna fracture after she either reveals her new boyfriend or he catches her in the act with a guy.

With the amount of focus on him, I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a half fractured human like Jagasaki and becomes the series main antagonist, at least for a short while.

Roba-Chan is eventually joining MC as a half fractured human.

This author likes to do it this way as seen with his older series.
