Is Boruto any good? I'm 6 episodes deep and it's not clinging for me. Is the writing weaker? To me it just feels really fan service-y. Will it pick up momentum and maybe mature a little story wise?
Because he's got a scar and his eye powerup now.
His actual design in the anime as of right now is a lot simpler.
>Is Boruto any good?
>I'm 6 episodes deep
What did he mean by this?
> edgy basement dweller who only watch unoriginal boring waifu anime which nobody heard of before speaking
This is what people really think of you, you know.
> tfw I've watched every single fucking edgy anime on animeseason and none of them can be even slightly compared to Naruto franchise masterpiece
So far I enjoy it because of nostalgia n shit. I really like how Naruto grew up with me. This is what I've been missing about many other anime series.
It's not so bad even though many people don't like the "technology" part of it.
It sill got that Naruto feeling though, so I'm ok with it. I just hope they won't make many cliches within the story, but so far so good.
The anime seems to be moving pretty damn slow. I actually watched all the episodes out a few hours ago and it's only just starting to pick up as of the end of episode 8.
It also seems to be a prequel to the manga, rather than an adaptation? I'm not really sure, it doesn't really seem to fit together very well.
I like the manga a lot better though, despite the incredibly slow releases.
The only way this show will be good is if Naruto resigns as a Hokage, admitting that it isn't how he imagined it, so he can spend more time with his family and make
Shikamaruthe new Hokage.
I read the manga and the issue for me is that the power level is already too high.
They killed a fucking gob at the end of Naruto and from that to where Boruto takes place a lot of time passed so they might even be stronger now.
So they bring 2 Random guys that need all kages plus Sasuke and Bouto to beart. The whole thing feels like a bad anime filler.
Wish he got revived during the war for some real drama.
Also they should've made the same with Sasuke's parents. Funny how besides Madara and itachi, no Uchihas were revived, not even Shisui.
yes this was awesome, early shippuden was great. But during the pain arc everything went to the shit hole.
I am also mad we never saw Suigetsu vs Kisame or Suigetsu having a dedicated fight.
the 1st hint that the series would go to shit was when we found out Killer Bee could transform into Hachibi at will, at 1st we didn't realize cuz Amateratsu is good against big targets but that had already shifted the powerscaling
but still I'd say even until the end of the 5 Kage Summit arc it was all pretty good other than that chapter where Nagato revived everybody but every shonen has shit moments like that, now the war arc was truly shit
he was ultimate wingman to the death
Yeah, a phase, just like the other dude.
Doesn't feel like Naruto without the tension and over arcing story. Even in the exams, everyone was out to permanently fuck you up. I guess we just have to wait to see things pan out.
the slice of life stuff is great, boruto is a likeable character, his friends and hijinks are fun, but i am totally not looking forward to him becoming an edgy eye fag with weird tattoo jutsu.
And he reminded that the Byakugan's insight was so powerful that he could hear Boruto's thoughts before going into keikaku celebration mode.
For me the moment when things went to shit was when they trivialized flying ninjas.
Pic related was, to me phenomenal because it was a true "shit is hitting the fan" moment and showed that this guy , who actually 'flew' up into the sky was truly on another level to anyone we saw before.
Then almost immediately after the Pain invasion, Kishi who forgot to world build during all the ANGST shit, started shoe-horning in a bunch of characters from other villages to bolster up the cast for the war so it wouldn't be so Konoha centric. So then just like that, they nonchalant introduce FLYING Shinobi like it's nothing. Now flying (which I knew someday was going to be inevitable but thought would be reserved for the literal God tier) was made into nothing. A simple blood line limit that can be passed on to others just like that. I know it's autism but it's indicative to me what the whole war was like. Shitty literally who characters introduced out of the blue and given Major credence through 2-3 panels of unnatural exposition from random characters.
Totally went against Part 1 and early Part 2 where things seemed to unfold naturally. The whole war and it's set-up , to me felt like a " I NEED TO END THIS NOW" sort of deal. Totally phoned in and more like somebody knocking off a check list for work then concluding a story.
No they didn't. We knew what the conclusion was of the Sasuke/Naruto reunion YEARS before it was animated. It happened in a linear fashion in the manga. Only the anime decided to get ahead of itself.
It was mostly to throw a bone to the viewers that had just gone through 85 weeks of filler hell and they didn't want to wait another fifty before showing Sasuke on the chance they would lose ratings in the first year.
They've been telepathically linked since the war.
Me too. Just wish it wasn't immediately trivialized. afterwards by genuine randoms.
I do get that in his last moments, Yahiko laments the possibility of a real God that's not his own twisted view but still he was basically THE top-notch of the kage/Bijuu-killer organization and for him to knocked off so fast was jarring to me.
Watch the latest episode, its the current peak.
Series is the same as Naruto before it became power levels though. People think they don't want wizard battles, until they get something else. Suddenly they want wizard battles.
... I don't think hinata has ever expressed an emotion other than sadness.
Shyness/timidness isn't an emotion, blank face isn't an emotion, embarrassment isn't an emotion, naruto isn't an emotion.
You don't remember when neji almost talked no jutsud her into a psychological breakdown?
That was pre time skip, Hinata's 10km range isn't gained until Post Time skip during which neji has become a joni
It is kind of refreshing, the setting has a more "modern/new" feel to it. I think all these episodes so far are good for familiarizing yourself with the characters. It helps to wait until they air about several to 10 episodes, then do a marathon - much more easier to sit through or enjoy. Also the animation quality is a little better than Shippuden.
>5 Kage Summit
This arc gets a lot of shit, but Sasuke's Wild Ride was pretty fucking entertaining. The threads were fun. Especially after the shitty Pain arc where the series became irredeemable.
How fucking delusional was the creator of that image? That must've been made by some faggot or chick wet for Sasuke.
>Or just 4 panels of Sakura standing in front of the door waiting.
Is Boruto shit even selling? Naruto was big but spin-offs usually end up dying off quickly. And I'd like to believe humans in general aren't dumb enough to keep diving for that shit.
20 years later, Salad wonders if her father will ever come home with those cigarettes.
>Implying toriyama would be capable of remembering
It's gongi to be bort and hiragawa repopulating the uzumaki clan and revolutionizing the hyuuga clan with their space ninja offspring.
Non-stop pregnancy from puberty to the grave for himawari.
Marlboro's are hard to find in Narutoverse, that's why he jumps through dimensions.
Same reason people hated sakura, kiba, konohamuru, scott summers (shino), and neji.
One dimensional characters who personify a single emotion/sentiment/etc are shit.
The even the pig had more range than those faggots.
In his warped mind he needed to be the ultimate edgehog and was resentful to anyone who wasn't an Uchiha. People give Sauske a hard time but honestly I find it hard to think of a more fucked up life than having your whole family lled, all your extended family and neighbooors killed, then finding out it was your brother, then your brother who you love tells you become and an edgeheog to beat him, then 'killing' your brother only to find out he was the good guy and it was actually your whole family whos were the bad guise planning a war, but then that it was actually a third party manipulating the whole thing so basically your brother an family died for nothing and you went insane for nothing.
Tl;dr Sauske never got the credit for having easily the one of the worst lives in anime.
But it has the best girl of the season in it
When is Kishi going to reveal Metal Lee's mom? The suspense is killing me.
Sasuke was glorious all the way through Naruto, especially towards the endOnly until the Gaiden and Boruto he became absolute dogshit for me with his decade-long ninja cigarettes trip and favoritism of another man's son over his own daughter
That does not excuse his behavior towards Salad though
That would be anticlimatic, I hope it's someone funnier and TenTen is just a close aunt figure to Metal.
All the jokes about TenTen being irrelevant would die off if she became a mom.
No, the only waifu who could ever relate with having bugs in their body died.
>just now put together that Sasuke was in the village when Naruto was Hokage in that flashback in Salad Gaiden
>meaning Salad was just a couple years younger than she is in Next Generations
>Sauce made visits to the village but still never bothered to see his own kid
What the fuck
>But if Boruto's the Dad, they'll be Uzumaki.
They're nips, but based on the rules presented so far, chosen name follows the clan. Otherwise hanabi and ino could never be clean leaders, it would mean the death or chaos of the clan, or giving leadership over to the side family.
Aburame clan techniques + Tailed Beast Chakra would have been more OP than the Sharingan. Kishi cannot have his precious Uchiha be outranked at something, so he had Fuu killed
Uzumaki clan techniques + Tailed Beast Chakra would have been more OP than the Sharingan. Kishi cannot have his precious Uchiha be outranked at something, so he had Uzumaki clan killed and Narudo be retarded.
I have to wonder why Sasuke even bothered to have a kid. Is he upset that Sarada is a girl, or is he just autistic?
It's weird how much Sasuke changed. His last interaction with Sakura while leaving the village was him smiling at her and saying he'll see her soon but now he seems emotionless 90% of the time and doesn't know how to interact with other people.
Sasuke has severe autism from all the mindrape Itachi did and thinks having a kid was another contest between him and Naruto.
In fact Itachi fucked Sasuke up so much he associates a "fuck off already" head poke as a sign of affection.
That was him leaving part 1, at the end of part 2 he goes on a redemption trip for all the bad he has done.
Sasuke is robot probably because of two reasons
1) Sakura somehow managed to rape him,
2) or much more likely, Kishi was just too lazyto wrote well/forgot about Sasuke's character development and needed some drama, so he made Sasuke into a robot
It's Uchiha special brand of autism, dont try to understand it, its too edgy and special for you.
it was a meme because instead of using hair from her 'mom' for dna, they used her umbilical cord.
Basically they made a false assumption. Really horribly written memage.
The sub-plot with fattie not wanting to accept that she is an ugly fatty was much more entertaining and better written.
How do Nips have such bad taste to rank Sasuke as no. 1 consecutively for years and years.
Naruto isn't the main character anymore, it's not really a sequel unless the story is about him as hokage and Boruto being a side character or almost like a sidekick type with occasional appearances.
It's Boruto's story now, the focus is on him and his friends, with Naruto being another central part of his world.
Ebisu spells it out quite simply that she took in too many calories.
I like the SoL angle but aside from that and Gaiden I am most excited about their first mission outside of the village. The first major battle is the one that will always be remembered in every series.
I dunno though I think it'd be really funny to have naruto become a really fun sol/comedy alienating a lot of its old fanbase and watching them rage (this is already happening a lot in these threads) while having already alienated a lot of others in the parent series
it's kind of funny to also watch the static /a/ remove naruto posters get mad over a what is essentially a cute kids do cute things show too
I honestly really enjoy this and rock lee's spinoff and stuff like the road to ninja prequel episode
To appeal to my fetish
Is anyone else kind of bothered by how between all the ova's and movies and games (although I understand there's more legal trouble there to use that) they have a huge soundtrack to use for this show but the current ost seems fairly lacking?
and I'll just ignore discussing sound effects which have always been laughably done in this franchise, fortunately, basically everyone ignores it
>Orochimaru got away with EVERYTHING
How the fuck did he do it bros?
No wonder Anko is suicidal
He got "murdered" and when he came back he had a change of heart. Now he only watches events unfold instead of doing bad things himself.
I wonder how he would feel if Mitsuki or Log got killed.
>Madara betrays Konoha
>Obito betrays Konoha
>Sausage betrays Konoha
Was he right all along?
Wouldn't hair this long get in the way of ninja fighting?
>that perfect amount of Temari tsun
Reminder that Tobirama was, is and forever will be right.
Literally, LITERALLY did nothing wrong.
Yeah someone had already made a corrected Izanami version.
All good except Sakura's should be her staring at the door well into the night and I do not think that Naruto shares the fanbase's lust for Hinata.
I mean this is pretty much literally a line from the movie, most of which was just addressing naruto being too autistic to fall in love and changing that
and being as shallow as most his series' fans where the idea of someone else loving him is more than enough gain interest in them
Honestly though most the series has a feeling where lots of character interaction falls through the cracks and we're just supposed to figure the last is a starting point.
would've been nice for kishi to actually get in more sasuke redemption than shinden like he wanted though as honestly with what we're given you'd think sakura would be long over his crazy dinduchiha ass
I have never watched much of Naruto. I got maybe 3 seasons in then gave up.
Will I be able to watch this without having watched Naruto?
so far yes, there's like 1 character that's shown up so far that wasn't involved until the last as it's mostly focusing on just the kids
in the movie, there's relatives of the weird asspull galactus that came out to kill the interesting bad guy near the end of the series but that's about it for context there
It's a slippery slope. Before the most recent episode, I would have said maybe but they started going back to old Naruto lore stuff in the latest episode, especially with a previous movie-only character coming back so I dunno
Right, only 2 kids in roughly a decade and a half means they aren't fucking like animals every night.
Kishi doesn't know what to do with Naruto's personality. We clearly know from season 1 that he's a jackass who always looks for fights with other people. But in more recent flashbacks he's shown as a knight in shining armor or some shit.
But now as Hokage he's clearly a worse person than he ever was, a deadbeat father.
I wonder if Kishi has father issues btw.
>No one appreciates the quality of this post.
Summer /a/ has truly begun.
>thinks having a kid was another contest between him and Naruto.
The notion that Sause only fucked Sakura to try and one one-up Naruto and now doesn't know what the fuck to do with the kid is hilarious to me.
Naruto has a thing for flat chested girls. That's why he loved Sakura. Only normies like girls with disgusting cow-tits.
Although I will say that Hinata is extremely cute despite having cow tits.
He was an idiot for trying to trick the summitt, but its a typical way for author to demonize a guy that needs to die for plot reasons.
>ofc he had to die, he was a baddie for doing that 1 out of character thing 5 minutes before the battle
To be honest, I never heard an actual definition of the term. I've mostly heard it used by single mothers complaining that their ex ditched them or something.
Here, i'm using the term like "A man who believes that having a job means that any form of child care is not his job. "
That is to say, Naruto thinks that it's ok to ditch his children as long as he can use the excuse that he has to work a lot.
He even sent a shadow clone to his daughter's birthday in the movie
Naruto isn't a deadbeat dad. I don't know why people aren't getting this but before Naruto was Hokage, it's clear he spent all his time with his family. Being Hokage changed that and it's why Boruto can't handle the new situation and why Naruto isn't that good at it either. That was the WHOLE resolution in the movie
>I wonder if Kishi has father issues btw.
Naruto is his self-insert for what he went through with his own son
So first of all, and I have to stress this, why does nobody forgot Konohamaru's relationship with Sarutobi at the beginning of the series who went through the exact same thing (and Asuma)? Having a parental figure who was always around but then became Hokage and wasn't around anymore so they lash out? It's the same situation.
No, Naruto doesn't think it's okay to ditch his children but remember "the village becomes the Hokage's family" thing? He's got more responsibilities, he just isn't very good at balancing them at this point
It baffles me that there are people who give a fuck about Hanabi. She barely appeared in the original series. She's more of Who than TenTen. Anyone who brings her up is a pure waifufag through and through.
>It baffles me that there are people who give a fuck about Hanabi.
Nobody really cared about Hanabi until The Last showed her new design. Then everybody wondered why she wasn't in the manga more.
Kishi is projecting his job as a mangaka onto the Hokage position. Who Naruto turned out to be is really out of character to how we've always seen him portrayed.
Naruto was always overflowing with energy, enthusiasm, and he could easily talk to anyone. I find it hard to believe he'd get so strung out on paperwork and act so distant and awkward when he has to speak to his own son. Is this really the same character who became best buddies with everyone including some of his villains? Unlimited stamina for thousands of clones and leveling mountains but paper work is just too much?
That's just not the same Naruto. He's become what I imagine Kishi feels like at work and how he is towards his own kids.
So let me get this straight.
I'm only using this as an example, but common argument when it comes to the NaruSaku ship was that they would commonly portray an older Naruto as literally the same as he always was. This was ridiculed a lot because it would be like he'd never mature. So now we have a situation where Naruto is legitimately a grown adult with serious adult issues and a bigger workload than any Hokage before yet this is too out of character? It's not like we've seen Naruto with a son. And again, it's not like Naruto wasn't World's #1 dad before he became Hokage
Kill yourself Sakurafag. Naruto only has a thing for Hinata's exposed arms. He only liked Sakura because they both liked Sasuke and wanted his acknowledgement.
Clearly Naruto's type is black haired beauties from prominent eye hax clans.
>It's not like we've seen Naruto with a son. And again, it's not like Naruto wasn't World's #1 dad before he became Hokage
That is literally the reason Bort is salty. Naruto was around all the time before he made Hokage, and now the tap of affection and attention has been reduced to a trickle.
>That is literally the reason Bort is salty
No it isn't. It's covered pretty solidly in like chapter 4 or 5 of the manga. Bort is mad because he feels like Naruto is neglecting Himawari and Hinata more than he's angry at the lack of attention for himself.
NaruSaku is fanon delusion and irrelevant.
Naruto in the gaiden about Sarada is how grown up Naruto should be. Look how friendly and kind Naruto is towards Sarada and ChouChou. He can still smile and look like a badass Hokage who takes care of the villagers.
Boruto anime is the worst version of Naruto where he has bags under his eyes 24/7 and eternally stuck in the office doing paperwork and can't even look his son in the eye. It's only for Boruto to have something to complain about.
I find that hard to believe seeing as the chapter he was first introduced and the entire movie was about him wanting his father to be impressed with him to the point that he cheated.
Him deflecting his own feelings onto Himawari and Hinata is because he can't admit he is the selfish one.
Not that it matters because the end of the movie he learns to accept Naruto being the Hokage means he won't be around as much as he wants. Boruto anime drags it out but we know how it ends.
The Naruto not being around thing is part of the reason. Neglecting Hima and Hina was the other part. He's going through a lot
>He can still smile and look like a badass Hokage who takes care of the villagers.
Because that involved direct action. Why else would Boruto be so impressed when Naruto gets serious when Momoshiki shows up? That's another thing, Boruto at this point in the anime, has not seen Naruto at his best and most powerful and hasn't had the "how much has he been shouldering this whole time" scene yet
It was mentioned in the movie too. When the clone disappears at Himawari's party. It's when Hinata says "The village is the Hokage's family". There's also the part when he says "If you don't come to Himawari's party I'll never forgive you"
In Naruto: she does nothing except whine and cry.
In Naruto Shippuden: she is literally just a copy of Tsunade
In Boruto: she married and had a child with a terrorist.
She basically represents the average normie girl that has no originality, cries a lot, and lusts so much after Chad's cock that she will still marry him even if he kills the president (danzo);
neckbeards projecting their highschool feelings onto here because they got rejected by some hot bitch during that time and can't accept the fact that some people don't like you back, especially if you're annoying as fuck
She's not really a good character, which isn't saying much in Naruto but she's supposed to be one of the three main characters and all so it's particularly disappointing. Also her crush on Sasuke is very superficial and annoying
I remember an episode where Sasuke and Sakura are in the forest of death, and they were up against Orochimaru. Sasuke was smart enough to recognize Oro's superiority, and was willing to give up.
So Sakura was totally shocked by this, and wanted to continue fighting.
So you would think she would go up against Oro, right? Ah no wait. She was standing there and telling Sasuke to fight. Because she can't do anything herself.
What does this have to do with high school?
>bags under his eyes 24/7 and eternally stuck in the office doing paperwork
Did anyone ever came up with a reasonable explanation for this? I mean, ffs, Sarutobi was drawing fucking paintings and sipping tea while he had the seat, but Naruto with all the extra shadow clones doing the extra work is like staying in the office overnight.
The progress that the ninja world has entered has outpaced the position of the Hokage. Just think about Konoha's position among the villages and the technology increase in this world, I assume that the bureaucracy required to manage such a system is still behind and thus Naruto is unable to keep up due to him also wasting energy on developing other fields and projects through Shadow Clones.
I think Naruto could be much smarter with his time and if he were to focus down or even have other ninja who are more organized or capable of developing a system where the Hokage is not required to oversee as much paperwork and its consequences. Maybe someone like Shizune or Shikamaru or someone.
You could also argue that keeping so many Shadow Clones active so often is very tiring and even someone like Naruto, who is now aging, is beginning to feel these things and are reacting in such ways.
What was his plan for keeping Naruto from fighting Pain? Was he going to crown himself Hokage in the bombed out ruins of Konoha with only his 2 or 3 dozen Roots members as the only survivors?
If that was his plan then thank the fucking heavens that he wasn't Hokage for long. Naruto should've been crowned Hokage then and there after basically getting everyone in the village a free bRez and talk-no-jutsuing Pain to his early grave.
tl;dr sakura is the worst character proportionate to her screentime
Didn't Kishi say he created Sakura to be Kiba tier relevance since the beginning? I don't think he ever tried with her so I don't get why he's confused everyone hates her.
Then again he did think Sai would be a popular character and that failed spectacularly. Kishi really is autistic.
Sakura was never popular outside fangirls who self-insert as her because Sasuke makes them wet.
Popularity polls and Kishi confirm general audience doesn't give a fuck about her.
/a/ was brought down from its special treatment to the level of every other topical board. What happened on /a/ would be like if all games published by EA were banned from discussion on /v/ on the merit of consensus taste.
Why does /a/ get to have the full of themselves patrician hive mind who thinks they're so above the shittiest of shonen it can't be discussed while all the other boards have to deal with pleb influx?
I'm glad they allow Naruto now, because there was never a good reason to ban it beyond smugness.
>Sakura was never popular outside fangirls who self-insert as her because Sasuke makes them wet.
This and the fact that Sakurafags believe Sakura is the ideal depiction of a strong woman.
Probably because he made him look similar to Sasuke and gave him the whole "spy" thing where he always has his eyes closed with a fake smile. It made him seem a lot more mysterious than he actually was.
The problem is Sai is one of the weakest characters and he didn't keep his rude asshole persona for very long. The mystery around him was lost once he wanted to be besties with Naruto.
>Hinata beat Sakura once so this means Sakura was never popular
Because after all was said and done, fans preferred Hinata. They might've liked Sakura more before, but that changed, so she is no longer popular.
No one said that, pinkshitfag.
That comment was in relation to her as a "love interest" he never thought of her as being one for Naruto hence she was at the same "level" as Kiba or Shikamaru
I'm suprised so many people failed to read that right
Shikamaru having equal importance as Kiba should have been a clue to you all
lmao and Hinatafags are self-inserting losers who think they're crush will ever give them the time of day if they keep at a distance but that will never happen because that isn't how the real world works
>Nobody is saying Sakura is the only bad character. Just that she is also a bad character
This is something the two or three pinkshit fans on this board seem completely unable to assimilate. I for example will always maintain that Obito and Karin are even worse than Sakura (an so is Kaguya who isn't even a character to begin with), but none of this makes Sakura any less shittier.
They also have an annoying tendency to deflect criticism from her by throwing someone else under the bus, be it Ino, Hinata , 1010 or anyone else.
Jiraiya was Naruto's godparent, yet he wasn't around to raise Naruto.
"He was out on missions" is not an excuse to be gone for 12 years straight. Heck, when he did finally come back, he still didn't visit Naruto. Instead he went to check out girls at the hot springs
Frankly given the mematic hate base Sakura has (rivaled only be Shinji Ikari's), Kishi's views on her popularity or lack thereof, and the treatment she's received from SP, Kodachi, CC2, and everyone else, Sakura's placement in the other poll's has always seemed like some inexplicable outlier.
>Sakura was always more popular than Hinata literally until recently
>DURR Kishi said Hinata, who got zero screentime previously, was popular!!1
lmao bet you believed Toriyama when he said Gohan was the strongest character in Dragon Ball
No point in arguing with Cucknata fags, they'll believe anything that hack syas
Bc back when he was introduced they didnt have the long term child of prophecy stuff going on and itachi and orochimaru were supposed to be the main villains
I feel like a lot of the shippuden plot was only thought up during shippuden
>pinkshitfag brings up some half-baked defense of pinkshit
>gets BTFO resoundingly by simple facts
>chimps out, blames everyone else
Shikamaru at least had an entire arc to himself which is more than what he gave to Sakura. Kishi was negligent and he had so many opportunities to give Sakura a life outside muh Team 7.
Sakura might have been better off if Kishi didn't try to mislead that she would ever be as relevant as Naruto and Sasuke were.
>i-it's hinatafags' fault all arguments defending pinkshit are bullshit!
Kishi said little girls were telling him they hated Sakura. Sakura remains popular only amongst SasuSaku shippers. No one cares for her as an individual.
I don't even see her get the waifufags like Hinata, Sarada, Hanabi, and Ino get. You only know her fans are here because they just post SasuSaku fanart.
They make it a point that team work is important and you can't do everything yourself, but Team 7 is literally the worst team in that regard.
Sakura never does anything useful
Sai is just there so people can argue about feelings.
Yamato only does that "an enemy! i will catch him with wood-style! oh no he broke free!" thing.
Sasuke is long gone.
The only ones who ever achieve anything are Naruto and Kakashi. But Kakashi is usually in the hospital.
Literally the perfect team is the Sunagakure team Gaara+Temari+Kankuro.
>actually stands up to the man she loves
>rejects his confession when saving her sister is the priority
>is incapable of standing up to Sasuke at all
>doesn't do a single thing to help redeem him
>cries constantly when faced with any actual difficulty
It is hilarious that you complain about Hinata by calling her a doormat when Sakura is the biggest doormat in Shonen.
>ruining another thread
You should get over the fact that character you like is generally hated. Every series has a black sheep or least popular chaacter. But Sakurafags take it so personally.
I think part of the problem is that unlike characters like Asuke or Yennefer who are supposed to be bitchy and who are acknowledged as such within story Kishi sort of fucked up. Sakura's fans don't like her because she's a flawed character but because they self insert and don't see any flaws.
Karin isn't the main heroine and never said that orphans have it easy.
Try again, pinkshitfag.
>pinkshitfags UNIRONICALLY defending Twilight
YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS SHIT UP
>Word of God, Kishi, said Hinata was always more preferred than Sakura.
There's an interview where Kishi straight out says that he received plenty of fanmail complaining about Sakura from the normally respectful Japanese fandom, and also called her character ''regretable'', if that is not an admission of unpopularity (as well as a reflection of his failings as her creator) then I don't know what else you could possibly say to Sakurafags that will get them out of their delusion.
>All this Hinatafags autism.
They do this every time. Nobody is allowed to like or defend Sakura. And they will derail entire threads to make sure you don't.
And yet the "Sakurafags" are the bad guys here.
>pinkshit/twilightfag calling anyone else fat
>it's a "let's blame the characters for Kishi being a shit writer" episode
I hope this autistic bullshit doesn't happen with the Boruto cast, these threads always become cancer
>Every flaw you complain about Sakura having is Karin's entire character.
Show me the page where Karin told an orphan that orphans have it easy.
>This argument isn't about being a heroine
Of course it is. Sakura is the main heroine so her character gets more scrutiny. No one cares if a 1-page character is shit, we're never gonna see them again. Sakura ate up chapter after chapter after chapter with her bullshit with NO payoff.
It's amusing how Sakura fans became so bitter towards Hinata ever since The Last movie.
If Hinata is such an irrelevant side character as you say then there is no need to be so mad.
>>it's a "let's blame the characters for Kishi being a shit writer" episode
I don't understand this "it's not the characters' fault, it's the writer's fault!" argument. Of fucking course it is. Anything that happens in the series is ultimately the writer's fault. We can still talk about characters being shit.
But as we have seen, Hinata is the most popular girl. She got her own movie. She appears throughout Boruto. Sakura hasn't even appeared once in the anime and barely appeared in the movie and manga.
>This poll was around before The Last was announced.
YEARS before actually. I mean i just visited a site with the results from all the character polls done by WSJ, and out of the seven Sakura finished better placed than Hinata in 4 (it is worth nothing that Sakura never placed above Hinata after the timeskip, which does indicate a loss in popularity), while having significantly more panel-time.
>implying Sakura is not an even bigger doormat
Hinata at least slapped and lectured Naruto when he was acting like a bitch.
Compared to Sakura becoming spineless every time Sasuke insults her.
No, pinkshitfag, it's the pinkshitfags like you who sperg out when people don't fawn over the shit character you love.
Considering her movie was the most successful one until the one about her son, yes, yes it does.
Can we all just agree Tenten is a better kunoichi than Sakura and Hinata?
I think pinkshitfag has made a lot of people who were on the fence about Sakura hate her out of association. Though Sakura's fanbase as a whole just sort of lost their minds after The Last.
How to improve the series:
Let Sakura die during the Zabuza incident. Then have Danzo make Sai join Team 7 as a replacement. Even if Sai is not a genin, this fact would be hidden.
It would make sense because Danzo should have an interest in keeping taps on the Jinchuriki and the last Uchiha. Yet he never seemed to care.
It would also remove Sakura, and introduce Sai much earlier so he can undergo better character development and have more revelance in the story.
Then during the chuunin exams, Sai defeats Ino in the preliminaries, and is set to fight that one sound ninja guy in the final round. But it never comes to that fight because of the Gaara incident.
So then Sai would disappear to guard Danzo or something, while Naruto takes care of Gaara as normally.
During the rescue-sasuke arc, Lee doesn't appear to fight Kimimarou. Instead Sai fights him, and they have an actual, interesting fight that ends with Sai defeating Kimimarou.
>gets BTFO off panel by Temari
>only gimmick is throwing weapons, which never ever work in Naruto
>acquires a legendary ninja tool but doesn't have enough chakra to use it
>finds the sage sealing tools but doesn't use them except to unseal Samui and Atsui
>runs a failing weapon shop in peacetime
>marries no one
I like her well enough but as a kunoichi she's kind of a spectacular failure.
Sakura has never won an official poll.
Once again Sakura is not even popular on her own, only because landwhales ship her with Sasuke and her only popularity is a side effect of SasuSaku landwhales collectively masturbating over Sasuke.
>Cucknatafags claim they "won"
>Sakura lives rent free in their mind
>all criticisms need to be directed to Kishimoto for being shit
This is a completely bullshit argument and you know it. If you went to a dinner restaurant and ordered something that tastes awful and made want to get your money back, you could always ultimately blame the cook, but that doesn't change the fact that your dinner tastes like shit.
Speaking from experience as I've never had any strong feelings towards Sakura either way. At this point you either find Sakurafags annoying or laugh at them by looking through the Hall of Anal Devastation (a freak show for people tapping on the glass from outside); though some of the reactions from that are so pitiful that I can scarcely, in good conscience, find them funny.
