Chapter in a hour or two. Get hype as Murata confirmed it concludes this arc.
How come Fubuki's shirt so skin tight? It's impossible
>Please don't go
>loud boom in the distance
>Gouketsu's head lands in front of him
My fucking sides
That panel was cool as hell.
> Garou is among them
That's Bang anon. But look at how ripped King is
Anyone know where I can get OPM with the original and redrawn chapters together?
>"Garou vs Boros, who would win, you ask? Before (pre-monster Garou), it was quite obvious Boros was ways above him. But now that Garou has basically become the perfect monster, it is hard to tell who would win, it would've been one hell of a battle. I do believe that Garou is stronger in close combat, where he would simply dodge all punches and kicks""
It was something like this, If the translation was correct. In any case, Garoufags are annoying as fuck.
I fucking loved this arc. I wish there was a /trollmode off sometimes on 4chan so you could get people's real opinions. Just every once in a while. This felt like OPM through and through.
I have just re-read all the part that begins since the battle in the Monster headquarters, until the final clash with Garou. In fact it's not so much to cover. One often makes chapters of a few pages.
They could handle everything with some OVA post S2.
I especially loved the part where Suiryu got thoroughly JUST'd in every possible way.
what do you think gouketsu's last words were
Editfag here, Saitama humiliated Bakuzan before killing him, Rude.
Well, lots of stuffs hapened with the MA attack too.
> Genos vs ton of monsters
> Fubuki vs Dos
> Flash & Tats vs Octopus
> pig god & CE vs Eyesight
> Engine Knight
> Atomic and the other swordmen
Anon, those people never give any well thought-out arguments. They only know how to spit out terms they have no idea how to use or understand and leave it at that before refusing to talk about their own thoughts soon afterward. They only know how to complain, but they don't know how to explain.
There are a lot of people who I assume are garou fans that are dying to see his arc both redrawn and animated.
They also at the same time criticize everything that has nothing to do with Garou such as this martial arts tournament. They went so far as to drive murata insane with questions about why he is doing this arc and not following ONE.
Jealousy of the craziest kind. Look at what he did to sonic for wanting to always fight Saitama or how he made the A class heroes who are neighbors leave.
Suiryu would have to fight Genos constantly.
We known his accuracy is supernatural when he not only jumped back from the moon to earth back where he started.
he also did so in a manner that he didnt destroy everything. His training isn't to get more powerful. it's hold back precisely and fight on even terms with normies. It's how he can knock out garou and sonic without killing them. He had to train hard. He almost one shot Suiryu in this tournament.
Suiryu Arc was the best since Dark Matter Thieves imo.
Buildup and Redemption with great payoff.
>Gouketsu was rekt offscreen
top kek anyone even thinking Saitama could break a sweat against him.
Probably because people who read webcomic version wanted to see it in better quality. We will probably have to wait another 2 years for it to finish and then another 1-2 years for anime to come out IF it even comes out. Those people expected S2 to be about Garou but now we have to wait even longer.
I personally felt these chapters to be alright but seriously we will miss out a lot. The current chapter is probably the only one I've enjoyed so far.
>Tats did it!
>No Bang did it!
>Saitama just walks out of the stadium and just rekt him
When will you guys learn?
We will miss out a lot? What are you talking about here?
At any rate, that has nothing to do with the quality of the chapters themselves, but of people's own impatience. That's something people can acknowledge, but the ones who say pretentious bullshit to try to explain why this arc is bad are just plain retarded.
This is probably the most bad ass Saitama has ever been. He showed up when all hope was lost like a proper hero without a single person dying. He kills the first monster. He walks into what Suiryu imagines is suicide even after seeing his strength. Quietly shushes Suiryu about how awesome he is.
this arc was god tier and suiryu had the best character development of the entire manga so far.
those who consider this arc shit are the ones completely unaware how the storytelling works.
now it's over, you can finally stop complaining and wait for the MA arc. i hope that now begins another different arc just to see you mongoloids crying like stupid babies. but it won't happen, i guess.
Gouketsu would have gotten raped. At best he was Golden Sperm's strength or a little stronger. Against all of those heroes without handicaps even if you take away king and Saitama he would have gotten rolled.
It's the reason he ran back to the MA he told Bakuzan that Heroes as a team as strong as shit even for dragon classes.
This makes me wonder.
How is the MA supposed to be confident n the future when this chapter has one of their top monsters getting BTFO, thus showing there's someone outside of Tatsumaki capable of such a thing? I guess having Orochi as their trump card is enough?
no I think he was kind of in a hurry. He spent all day playing in a tournament and there is an all out monster attack. Look at how long he took to get dressed. He sees that the monsters are relatively strong for the heroes so it's time to do what he always does. Be a hero for hobby.
They were well aware that heroes in groups can take down even the strongest monsters. This was their entire motivation in creating a Monster Association.
Psykos is the one that called him back with that rationale.
Are you saying he was way weaker or Boros/Garou strength. Your criticism leaves much to be desired. I think Golden Sperm is about right for him.
Able to take on another dragon with little effort. Still not as strong as Orochi.
I think you guys are little Saitama one punching him diminish the strength Gouketsu has.
Saitama can literally one punch anyone. Even boros or garou if he desired.
aside from suiryu's character development and the other heroes preparing for the MA, the arc was lackluster.
It dragged on for a bit too long, without any meaningful progression, most characters that were build up, weren't in the webcomic and might never be seen again for years. Or they just became monsters and died.
It was more filler than anything else, especially since gouketsu was hyped up as a cadre and then killed offscreen at "the end of the next season".
That way it'll be easier for one so he won't have to redraw the MA arc, but it's quite disappointing this way.
>The S-Class heroes were all too busy with the other cities!
>But there was one unaccounted for...
Bang casually destroyed two dragon threats then got destroyed in one combined attack of Hobo and Psykos. And those two even combined are leagues from Golden.
You're completely retarded. Gouketsu is fodder against Golden Sperm.
>one of their top monsters
This is the exact reason why "Gyoro Gyoro" ordered Gouketsu to head back to base. That even someone like him would be in trouble if the heroes ganged up on him.
Why are you working on the assumption that they know exactly what happened to Gouketsu? They didn't even know what was going on with Gouketsu at the Super Fight arena until Gyoro Gyoro checked up on him again.
>Saitama can literally one punch anyone. Even boros or garou if he desired.
Except Boros didn't one punched because Saitama's casual ones weren't enough, that's the difference. And Saitama clearly didn't do more than a casual punch to kill Gouketsu.
A "more than casual, less than serious" punch? Let's not kid ourselves, anon. Casual punches are just that; casual. Without effort. Him casually beating Snek is no different from him casually killing Deep Sea King. It's a supremely negligible difference to Saitama.
Who else can you think of that warrants an array of s-class heroes like this >>157654684
He obviously isn't Monster Garou or Boro's strength but he was clearly clearly strong. Strong enough that a dragon lost all hope in rebelling against him. He literally couldn't even be harmed by 2 s-class opponents and another dragon. He stood there and deflected all of Bakuzan's attacks with one hand. Suiryu saw Saitama punch a whole in bakuzan and still couldn't fathom him beating Gouketsu.
Gouketsu punched a giant hole in the stadium with air pressure.
No, the point is that Gouketsu does not exist in Webcomic and Golden Sprem , in the web comic, is one of the most powerful monsters of its organization. However, we do not know how story will be rewritten in the Murata version.
We only know that Gouketsu admits the existence of stronger monsters than him.
Broketsu was somewhere up there with Bang, at best - strong AF and "up there" for sure, but Sparkly Jizz is on a whole other level.
Didn't Sweet Mask, after seeing It stomping the Midget, say that GS could wreck them all at once if he wished?
gouketsu's death is perfect for the type of manga that OPM is, not a classic shonen manga. i find it genius.
this entire thing was not filler at all: now we know how the monsterification process work, the powers and abilities of other heroes, the existence of orochi, suiryu (which hopefully will see again in future), the power of the MA..
and we STILL have to see the consequences of this arc, i guess in the next chapter.
this was not pointless, the story advanced, this is all going well.
and in the end we will probably have one of the best stories ever.
btw try to reread this arc one chapter after another: it was not dragged, it woked perfectly.
He occasionally changes it because ONE asks. The Seaking was changed because ONE felt the "energy blast" effect was too unbelievable for people not to notice. Thouh IIRC Murata also didn't like how wide he'd made the road.
To me it makes sense that Gouketsu is stronger not only by what we saw but the monsters fear of King.
Golden Sperm shit his pants at the thought of facing king. Why? Imagine if he knew how strong Gouketsu is but that kill gets attributed to King. It would make so much more sense in context. We will ultimately have to wait for ONE to comment on Gouketsu's rating
He's just more used to traditional. His three assistants works digitally by the way.
Sometimes he does draw digitally to edit some stuffs. Like this shot or Fubuki, he redrew the shading of the body.
>now we know how the monsterification process work
What? This arc introduced a completely new method of monsterification.
The actual explanation for naturlly occuring monsters, funnily enough, has been kept from us for more than a year because it happens in the very next chapter after the filler started.
I'm not saying that because Saitama onepunched him, because that would be ridiculous.
But why would you think he's as strong as Golden Sperm? Golden Sperm was crazy strong. Seems a big assumption.
To put some context on this picture, Sweet Mask had recently finished fighting Black Sperm and Evil Natural Water - both powerhouses. Him saying they can't defeat Golden Sperm a lot of weight.
I'll give you that but again we never got to see Gouketsu go all out. While all we have is speculation it takes incredible strength to toy with someone. You not only have to stronger than someone but way stronger.
We're never seeing her again aren't we?
I believe it. He one shot two dragons. He has gotten up from everything thrown at him. He is freaking 80 years old and demolishing shit. Everytime he got defeated it was because of an ambush.
Outside of Psychic power I have a hard time seeing him lose. I rank darkshine, lightspeed, and atomic roughly the same after him. But he is the clear number two to Tatsumaki's force of nature.
I wouldn't be surprised if he was even stronger while younger.
Any monster defeated by Saitama can not be fully evaluated, it's the same for Vaccine man. Gouketsu power level Is irrelevant. He has been removed from the chessboard.
We MIIIIIIGHT seer together with Sour Face and the cuck joining Bang's dojo, since I believe at no point does the webcomic indicate that it's still an empty save for Charanko.
At least, that's what I was hoping for while Saitama was still pretending to be Charanko. Since he was exposed it's probably not happening.
While he was obviously stronger than Bakuzan, he did block his attacks instead of just allowing them to harmlessly connect like he did with Suiryu. So there might not have been that much of a gap.
But you're right that we'll never really know how strong he was. I just don't see why you'd say Golden Sperm or higher when Golden Sperm is the third-strongest monster in the webcomic.
>Boros didn't even receive a direct serious punch.
This was pretty serious.
translate this page:
i need to know the context
Is what should happen now. It would not make sense to close the story now, considering that Bang and his brother are hunting Garou.
It will end with Garou waking up to the monsters base with the child.
Excellent! Now translate the whole thing!
Ok so at some point Suiryu asked Saitama if he could become a hero as well and Saitama replies with "I dunno".
This should be clear foreshadowing Suiryu will return and likely will be part of the Neo HA.
Mask should be roughly half or a little less than that of what Bang is, around 3 to 4 T i'd put Black Sperm to be able to match an all out Mask.
Gotta wait for ONE to throw data sheet really, otherwise it's just powerlevel wanking.
Monster Association arc next right?
>tfw we'll get to witness pic related being drawn by Murata and eventually animated
Holy fucking shit Im hyped
This cour could easily be 13 episodes long, there is more material than what was covered in Season 1.
I expect most of the fights to be expanded, like Metal Bat vs Garou, Saitama vs Gouketsu, Sonic vs Genos, Fubuki vs Do-S, Saitama vs Suiryu.
Maybe your online reader just doesn't have the pages.
And Genos getting trolled again, he was implying Gouketsu could only be defeated if all S class heroes team up.
He never got to witness Darkshine, MB, WDM, Drive Knight strength.
That drone is actually taking Genos to the junk yard where he belongs.
I will like it as much as everything else when I eventually read it again in one go, but having to wait 2 years for something that wasn't on the webcomic on top of waiting at least 3-4 to see the actual webcomic MA arc concluded is annoying. It's bad enough that the webcomic release schedule has slowed to a crawl.
Oh and also, Saitama telling Suiryuu that before he became too strong, there were times when Saitama received similar beat downs and injuries like Suiryuu. He tells Suiryuu that if someone like himself could become a hero, then anyone could.
It'd be nice if one day we see more of the pre-God state Saitama and his fights.
I don't really understand what you mean. What's the wrench here? We can't really use Saitama as a ruler for anyone except those on the level of Boros who are far enough above the rest for there to be a somewhat noticeable difference. You've got such a strange obsession to bring this up in relation to power level arguments.
Speaking of Sonic, The anime could easily insert him in this arc, by having him attempt another sneak attack on Saitama after he kills Gouketsu and he gets Team Rocketd.
It would be funny to see.
I don't think it's too strange to complain about people faffing about with power levels because powerlevel discussions consist of half of all the posts in any opm thread
Saitama cuts off the power level discussion because anyone he meets dies and will no longer have any appearances to clarify how strong they are
Suiryuu and Saitama's conversation was about how much stronger Gouketsu was to others, to which Saitama replied he couldn't tell a difference.
>We can't really use Saitama as a ruler for anyone
That's my point, silly.
The sheer fact that Saitama killed both Gouketsu and Bakuzan throws a wrench into measuring exactly Gouketsu stood in relation to others. The manga itself is basically making a fun of the whole power level talk, and I found it funny.
You on the other hand, seem to lack a funny bone. You should probably grow one if you want to continue reading OPM.
In fact, all the monsters are likely dead.
There were fuckton of explosions coming from all over the city after Saitama went after Gouketsu, yet Saitama says Gouketsu died in one hit.
Suiryuu told Saitama about all the monsters attacking the city prior, so he likely killed every monster on the way to Gouketsu.
According to the duo, Murata's creative inputs are more of flairs, not actual plots. Like sending Saitama to the moon with a kick.
Murata himself has stated many times in the UStream that he does not know where the plot is going until ONE sends him the storyboards.
Tats has yet to show her full power, instead of Bang we would get to see a reborn Garou, Atomic Samurai wants to get stronger after he got btfo by King, Flash also wants to be stronger because he wants to be a mentor for Saitama (lol),
Genos got punched so hard that he went full retard
The need of Saitama and the whole S class hero group to take down Gouketsu when he wasnt surprised Saitama took down Boros...
>asks to be his disciple
Sandnigger confirmed for shitter.
Only those with the guts to follow their own path and disregard Saitama are actually Strong. Sandnigger is officially absolute trash tier compared to Garou and Tatsumaki.
Man, that chapter in which Suiryu gets beaten to a pulp and starts begging was brutal as fuck. How the might have fallen.
It would be awesome if they showed Suiryuu beating up pre-strong saitama in a similar flashback
I would rather prefer Suiryu being Saitama's disciple over Genos. At least he has somewhat of a chance of getting strong.
How the fuck is Genos suppose to get stronger by being Saitama's disciple? He's a machine.
Untrained Saitama choked a wolf level with his tie and about a year into his training he was already casually one-punching demon levels. Hairy Saitama would fucking annihilate Suiryu.
That's exactly the joke though. Genos isn't meant to get strong. He's following Saitama and looking for the secrets to his strength while thoroughly believing the random shit Saitama spews at him is hidden wisdom. Genos can never follow in Saitama's footsteps as his philosophy to strength is to abandon his humanity.
The best gag we could get out of Suiryu is that he tries Saitama's workout routine and nothing happens.
Non-bald Saitama looks very similar to suiryu.
Is this foreshadowing?
You can't get strong if you trail behind Saitama, idiot. That's the point. Becoming his "disciple" is useless because the recipe of godly strength is unique for everyone.
Even Genos realized this but he remains a saitamadrone because it's funny teehee.
>The best gag we could get out of Suiryu is that he tries Saitama's workout routine and nothing happens.
That would goat, seeing him doing 100 pushups, squats, etc. I wanna see that now!
Your suicide watch is never-ending.
Nice fanfic. Pre-strong Saitama is pre-bald Saitama. And while Saitama was still bleeding then, his single punch would've annihilated Shitryu's ass.
Saitama before training offed a wolf level with a tie, faggot. Shitryu was probably crying like a bitch or getting stds somewhere at the time.
>being a delusional shitryufag
>my subjective opinion of the series are facts
