We really need janitors.
>>157631141
>t. hard core teenager who don't need no feelings
>>157631102
>Movie was shit
>People cried with it
>>157631141
Yeah
>>157631102
Thank god for this film and Your Meme that I can accurately pinpoint who's the bandwagoning faggots IRL
ishida looks too handsome on the movie
>>157631234
Thank god for this film and Your Meme that I can accurately pinpoint who's the bandwagoning counterculture edgelords IRL
>>157631102
>thought it would be a great film, but no way it was going to be on the level of the K-On! movie and Love Story
>ended up being my favorite anime
>>157631102
Kill yourself fucking faggot.
>>157631234
>>157631366
>IRL
You already lost.
koe no katachi? more like koe no katashit.
>That it was going to be a great film and one of my favourites
>It didn't nearly live up to my expectations, but I still enjoyed it.
You know, it's okay to have opinions that aren't either "it's fantastic" or "it's utter shit", guys.
>>157631102
It was okay. Nothign good nothign great. Now kill yourself.
>>157631716
But those opinions are boring
Am I dead inside? I didnt really feel anything, and the bridge scene was unclear probably due to shitty translation.
definitely not as good as people made it out to be
Solid 8/10 movie.
>>157631716
I didn't have particularly low or high expectations. KyoAni films aren't really that great ever. This one was mediocre too.
Koe No Katachi reached the pinnacle of storytelling, and it's by far the greatest anime I've watched in my entire life.
>>157632795
>K-On S2 is the pinnacle of TV anime
>Koe no Katachi is the pinnacle of anime films
Yamada the madwoman
>>157632795
Watch more anime kid. It's not even up to the standard of Your Name.
>>157632924
Your Name was enjoyable but it nowhere near the emotional impact or depth of Katachi
>>157633378
>depth
>emotional impact
Cheap melodramatic teenage angst dressed up with faux artsy direction. It's the height of pretentiousness a complete absence of depth.
>>157632795
kill yourself fucking newshit.
>>157633462
How is Your Name pretentious?
>>157632915
Love Live S2 is the pinnacle of anime, you fucking retard.
>>157633615
>Love Live
Bait post detected.
>>157633764
Love Live is the greatest anime ever made according to Japan.
>>157631716
I went expecting it to be less enjoyable than Kimi no Na Wa, considering I was disappointed with the manga. From a narrative point of view it was as flawed as I expected it to be and the more I think about it the worse it gets, but from a entertainment standpoint it totally did me in. I agree with most of the negative criticism the movie received, but at the same time I can say I enjoyed every second of it.
>>157631102
>thought it would be average
>cried for 2 hour
Damn anon, it isn't that bad.
>>157631102
>I'll have you know that I only cried 20 minutes while watching Koe no Katachi.Jpg
I thought I would never cry at anime. Clannad made my tears well up but this turned me into a mess.
>>157634170
Watch more anime.
I cried twice, both times cause the film made me remember a part in the manga that made me cry.
At least it's better than your name with regards to tearjerkers though, that shit film had none.
>>157634170
what a faggot.
>>157634276
Yeah, but your name is still better than this.
>>157631102
Why did they make Shouko sound like a robot?
>>157634276
>number of times you cry is the measure of a films quality
I dunno why they make all those shitty comedy films.
>>157634276
>I cried twice
This was the best non-franchise film debut for a director since Perfect Blue
>>157634658
Nope. Mind Game and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time are both easily superior and that is just the first two that come to mind.
Shouko's dumb sounding voice gave me a boner and I'm proud of it.
>>157631102
Shouko was way too nice. Obvious waifubait bullshit.
>>157631248
Ha, yeah he's better looking in the movie. His hairline is way less fucked up.
>>157634813
Mind Game probably. Tokikake no.
This is the first thing to make me cry since K-on
>>157636257
That's part of the story though, like Ueno chews her out for that pretty hard. She passively accepts everything as her fault, and hates herself because of it.
>>157631102
Which scene hit the hardest anon?
>>157637052
Not OP, but for me the most emotional scenes were the fight in the first act, when Shouko's family apologizes and the ending when Shouya can't hold back tears.
>>157631366
You realize anime is a counter-culture right?
>>157631102
I cried like a bitch too anon.
>>157637196
I think he meant more like contrarian
Is this the most normie movie?
>>157637430
It's up there. Still thought it was like a 7/10 though.
I just watched it, forgot that it even came out.I cried like a fucking baby. Didn't cry nearly as much during Kimi no Na Wa or 5 cm/s. I give it an 8, same as 5 cm/s.
