This is an OP
It's not a massive poem because I'm lazy
This sheep is not lazy
Let's have some /idles/
I've given up all hope.
I want to fuck Lala.
When is soon? Certainly not next episode, and we've been saying it would happen "soon" for over a month.
>no Reversible Ring death metal remix
>no 100% Jinsei 70s remix
>no Panic Labyrinth hiphop/rap remix
>no Girl's Fantasy Jazz remix
>no Charisma to Girl nu disco remix
There's so much potential.
I'm glad that my favorite member of the sheep squad might debut next episode.
Not soon enough given how Nino just accepted idols as something that doesn't suck, but not as something better than sports.
>Chiri was literally perfect for it too.
There is still a chance given how Chiri doesn't have a solo song.
I think I start to understand Moroboshi now after seeing his motivations in this episode. The unexplainable bullshit that is the rainbow might be the reason why he does questionable things, he himself didn't understand how it works.
Hime did overcome the rainbow through Moroboshi's guidance, but he didn't consider that Yume's mindset as an idol is different from Hime's.This might be why every keikaku he did at the beginning backfired.
Yeah, they are, but they might get some solo songs in the game if not, that's it for them.
Like almost all of the Idol Time epsodes then.
I seriously doubt that they're ded, especially after the ending of season 3
that showed how the system give the tickets to a new idols and how the bugs finding a new host to screw them over like they did with falulu and hibiki
Moroboshi's big sis is a cute cake!
Yume tearing down the rainbow out of her own resolvewas awesome. I'm glad her hard training paid off.
I'm actually having way too much fun trying to find depth in Moroboshi's character considering I'm watching this blind.
That sounds fucking hilarious. I must have missed a lot.
Maybe I'll ask for the S4 shitstorm threads when I'm at those episodes.
Are relationships fine in Stars universe? There wasn't a mention of romance being taboo unlike in OG, or maybe relationships between people of the industry aren't frowned upon.
I like it! I didn't actually expect the Christmas rap from OG being performed by the Stars singers, so it was a nice surprise. This episode has a ton of screenshot-worthy scenes but this HarukaLuka takes the cake.
>Will the next reboot be an '80skatsu directed by Kimura?
With the hags, I hope.
I think this episode serves as a recap of some sort. Seeing Moroboshi get out-fucking-keikaku'd was really funny though.
>still no S&M4 power couple
The best part is the Kanata is a canon ドS.
Moroboshi was too focused on keikaku he forgot to mind the budget. I can see Yume's growth and resolve from her interactions with Lily.
The Japanese cold meme is real, 36.5 degrees isn't that high of a body temperature to make someone sick. Lily is still cute though, and her new coord is cool! I'm really liking her a lot.
I want to get sloshed with Mikuru and ride the BIG WAVE with her.
Why did she choose this pose? Isn't it a bit loose?
N O A U R A
Does Haruka exist so Yuzu can be the only relevant Dance class member?
Nice episode. It's a shame Otome and Yurika-sama failed to do their third Appeal. They worked hard and they are great idols. But well, maybe they lack of talent or had a bad luck.
This scene was great. A bit sexy.
I want to lick the sweat from this cute forehead.
What a fucking twist.
I've watched last episode of stars too many times, this sheep is just too cute, TOO CUTE!
Thought she's already come back in the Christmas episode.
why is mia so perfect and fun?
mion-sama is cute! CUTE!
>Roller denies sheep performance
>some time later ask for help
>'I want to be an idol who is considerate of others'
Why didn't she ask a little earlier rather than forcing 'TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG' with Yume.
Wow, I liked her rendition of TSU-BO-MI a lot better than Mahiru's.
>the dolphin's name is fucking IRUKALUKA
Stop bullying sidles!
Well I watched the first Pripara movie expecting something like Aikatsu the movie, and instead got a PR recap special, featuring all kinds of incredible shit that I don't understand because I didn't watch Pretty Rhythm.
My queen ;_;
So I just watched episode 48 and my opinion on it is this.
I'm not butthurt about Samui Takane losing to Rolls since while I think that Lili's the better character, Rola's constantly been stated to be one of the most talented members of the Song class (Tying and jobbing to Rainbow!Yume aside), and after deciding to follow her own path instead of copying Lili, I can believe that doing her own thing would allow her to win.
There's also the fact that (From a writing standpoint) if Rola'd still lost to Lili after following her own path instead of copying her, it'd send the message that Rola will always be inferior to Lili.
I thought it was just another idol show, and then all of a sudden you have prism people shit, sword fights and some kind of Yugioh darkness shit and end of eva.
How the fuck do you go from that to PriPara?
This is a cute coord! The episode was nice overall, but I feel it didn't really contribute much to the establishment of their childhood friendship.
Also I'd like to thank the anon who mentioned the episode number so I got to instantly hide it and not read the rest of his post that could potentially spoil me. I almost gone past the point of no return, thank you.
That was a really cute coord! I remember some people were pretty disappointed with that episode as a whole though because it ended up being more about Yume instead of Lily and Yuzu like we expected.
She's a perfect character. And because >>157604448 but she's also a good kid unlike Dorothy which is a good kid tooo but way more egoistical and with much less development or screentime in general PP being PP so it takes longer to warm up to her
I want to breed with passed-out-on-the-floor Lily.
This new aura is sparklingly colorful! And she got to wear the same coord as episode 36 which slightly looks like Madoka's coord that I really liked.
Speaking of OGkatsu, the interactions between Subaru and Yume appear more blatant than Sena and Akari. I liked the way it was handled in OGkatsu though because their relationship as work partners were built up on trust and respect unlike the seemingly teenage puppy love shipping of Stars.
The episode really did pale in comparison to 39
which was really good in my opinion.
Do little girls even understand the references in this episode?
She's just the main character /ai/ deserves, a brat that is good on the inside and doesn't lose sight of what's really important, besides not being a lukewarm super nice girls like some others main characters of these shows.
It is another idol show, but it's the most hype idol show you'll ever watch for shit like that, man, I really miss the Prism Jumps and how you had some shit like hugging the world.
I wonder if little got the Evangelion references in the original PriPara. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't get the Milky Holmes ones.
Kira Deco had a reference to some 80s TV drama.
Some parents watch anime with their kids, they'd just explain it to them.
Some parents also have good taste and have already made their kids watch Ace wo Nerae or at least told them about it like they should or every good pioneering or masterpiece old anime.
Let's be honest, most of /ai/ wouldn't get the reference on their own either.
It's nice to hear Rola's worries about the upcoming S4 selection, and I'm really excited about what dress Ako gets next episode.
At first, I found Ako to be annoying as her early appearances only show her obsession over Subaru and her ability as an actress. Then I watched her episode where I found out that she's actually level-headed and is quick to admit her mistakes and improve on them. Her encouraging Yume at the Yuzukoshou episode showed that she actually does think of her friends. And this episode cemented my love for Ako, her resolve is really respectable. She's actually one of the better written characters in Stars in my opinion. I really like the fact that despite her lack of episodes that focus solely on her development, she still managed to be likeable because of how she acts toward the rest of the cast.
Having seen some pictures of Ako wearing the S4 uniform, I hope it's real. She's my favorite to win because I think she deserves it.
I guess it doesn't matter at this point now.
She already got my heart. I love her!
I'm a catgirlfag so Ako appealed to me from her initial reveal, but it was really nice to see a lot of other anons come around to her as the show went on.
It does make me sad that the opposite happened with Rola though.
Humalu form Rose in Lip's idol outfit?
>A lamb denied her spotlight
It made me sad too, I really wanted her to beat Tsubasa. It was still easily the best executed part of the S4 selection, and she did her best considering she had a handicap thanks to the system being a bitch.
It's a great episode, and it made sense. I don't have any more words for this.
I'll take take a fucking break, I need to sort my emotions out.
Finally got up to 70,000 point in the Pripuz event to get Pajama Ajimi.
Hooray it's over!
>New set of previously hidden unlocks going up to 250,000
>Rola's constantly been stated to be one of the most talented members of the Song class (Tying and jobbing to Rainbow!Yume aside)
And Lily is a random whore they found on the street 5 minutes ago or something?
>and after deciding to follow her own path instead of copying Lili, I can believe that doing her own thing would allow her to win.
Don't you a mean a 5 minutes YUME YUME YUME flashback? Yeah, that's totally her doing her own thing and going her own way.
>There's also the fact that (From a writing standpoint) if Rola'd still lost to Lili after following her own path instead of copying her, it'd send the message that Rola will always be inferior to Lili.
And instead we got that with Yume forever marking Rola and Yume's bitch. Instead of, you know, a more logical loss vs an experienced senpai who has been hyped since ever before her first appearance.
Congratulations anon. You've reached the peak. It's all downhill now.
It is just like my little girl shows. I'm the top idol...oh look a whole new tier has shown up!
At least he has S2 to look forward to after he braves the storm.
Why is she so smug?
She can talk shit and back up her talk. It's like when people try to argue with you on a topic you are an expert and you smile because you know you are about to blow the fuck out of them.
>tfw this will never happen in the anime
If anything Koharu is the shit one.
>Boku no Shit Academia image
What's the best PriPara ED and why is it PriPara Dancing?
Rola > Sora
Also sorry I insulted your favorite shitty battle shonen.
>being worse than No Aura
Sora is a fucking disgrace
Is there a full version of "Charismart GIRLYeah!" done by just Pinon?
>posting a reaction literally means its your favorite anime
Headmistress said that she believes Idols should be able to pursue love. It just so happened that during OG, non-Akarigen, the two lovebirds were literally two autists on differing ends of the spectrum and never really said a word about it 'til the movie. They just chased each other before that.
Everybody is wrong, clearly.
I legit don't even remember Sora. Maybe if I watched an episode with her I'd remember, but seeing pics of her is doing nothing for me. Nor did watching the short OG movie that came out with the Stars movie.
Kii, though. Kii was great and fun.
>not remember Sora when you have like 5 of them to pic
The last two episodes got me too emotionally invested into Ako
that it made me cry myself to sleep, and now this? This is literal bullshit. This is fucking bullshit. This is unironically bullshit. Like, real fucking bullshit. Everyone knows Yozora's model walking was leagues better than Mahiru's.I just don't fucking understand.
How did you feel about the totally not pre-prepared so I totally didn't throw the match to make a passing the baton scene to my sister and emotionally manipulate everyone to not question how or why she won scene?
No fucking way. The result changes nothing.
And Mahiru losing would potentially make her character grow more.I just don't understand. I refuse to believe Yozorathrew. God I'm so fucking frustrated.
>Yozora legit lost which implies Mahiru is better than her
>Yozora threw the match on purpose because she's a filthy siscon
Pick 1. Whichever you choose, though you still lose.
>would potentially make her character grow more.
That's the trap they caught themselves into. They all can't be pity S4 because it would lose all emotional meaning and so would the title because it would the new S4 is not up to the title. They had to make at least one of them win yes or yes. Plus, whoever gets a pity S4 after Ako's god-tier stuff will end up looking meh too because Ako stuff was super well handled.
Now you are starting to understand why S4 was a mistake.
It has only just begun. Strap yourself in.
Here goes. Wish me luck, /ai/. Hope I won't get as
JUSTedas the last episode.
The first half of the show was all an elaborate scheme to build up Yume. Just like 7 episodes prior to the S4 selection, Maihiru very heavily implied that she's still nowhere near Yozora's level, but then all of a sudden she surpassed her.
>Shows build-up to something or states something
>The total opposite of what's been built up until then or was recently stated happens instead
Do you know why no one calls bullshit on Ako losing despite people wanting her to win? Because she show built up to to that and the outcome was perfectly logical with had been shown until then.
Im not sure if i drew it correctly but i hope you like it.
To be honest, what frustrates me the most is that if the ratings are judged using the same criteria between all the classes, she is ranked #2 overall just a few point behind Hime, which is just stupid.
Poor Yuri suffering the sidle fate. Here's my prediction judging from their powerlevel:
How long have you been drawing for? How did you learn to?
No. You watch the watch and make your own judgment and opinions based on your experience and feelings. Everyone's different after all. There's no way to watch a show wrong, however, there's plenty wrong on telling others how they should watch a show or what they are supposed to feel while watching it.
The Yuri stuff in that episode is excellent
which further makes the episode worse because it completely shits on it right afterwards.
Forgot to mention that drawing requests are still avaliable im still up for more.
>How long have you been drawing for?
About 6 years, tho I started to taking drawing seriously last year.
>How did you learn to?
I would say lot of references and guides is a good start.
And in all honesty practice makes perfect, I kept drawing alot, tho drawing alot doesnt mean instantly you will get better. But drawing alot and learn from your mistakes you could say.
OMOSHIROI JA NAI OMOSHIROI JA NAI OMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAIOMOSHIROI JA NAI
GOD WORDS CAN'T EXPRESS HOW MAD I AM RIGHT NOW
HOLY SHIT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH NO WAY
LILY DESERVED IT BETTER
SHE WAS LITERALLY FUCKING ROBBED HOLY SHIT
IS THIS SOME KIND OF ELABORATE ASSPULL THAT I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND?
LIKE HOLY SHIT THIS IS WHAT I LOOK RIGHT NOW
Going my way.
>A bloo bloo bloo only nice things allowed in muh safespace!
Go back to tumblr faggot. The good gets praise, the bad doesn't get. That's how life works.
I do agree that the threads have been much more lively though. Nothing nicer than new people you can watch their reactions about the show.
I'll try to calm down, but I'm still as fucking red as a u d taco. No way she'd lose, she was set up to be the best, she was fucking S4-level. She's like as fucking good or a cut below Yuzu. This is literal bullshit. How can someone justify this? Is Akatsukin literally accepting this as it is? Is voicing out my dissatisfaction something I'm not allowed to do? I can't fucking believe it.
>How can someone justify this? Is Akatsukin literally accepting this as it is?
He literally said that anyone who didn't accept the results was watching Stars wrong.
I'm looking at the archive so you can see our discussions. It really was a non-stop week of everyone getting upset about the results.
Sumire's case is justified because Akari is also good. Oh, and
WM. I guess all my favorites are destined to lose.
I'd try too look for those threads as well, but I'm going to
read Akatsukin's blog post first.Thank you.
All the threads of that week. Starting and ending with livewatch threads. I couldn't find the exact you are watching Stars wrong post though, hopefully someone else will.
I want to die
Read his post. I kinda get his point, but I don't think there should be an "objective" way to watch anime. I try to rationalize what the creator did with his work, but if the reason wasn't plausible enough for me I'll say I'm dissatisfied. It's not like everyone is trying hard to look good and act like a jaded teenager trying to gauge the subjective value of worth in an art form which is meant to be interpreted from different angles of perspective. Maybe that's what he meant of someone being "above" anime.
I believe it's not wrong for someone to criticize someone's work unless the critic says buzzwords, sweeping generalizations, or actual dislike for an aspect of the work that he didn't want to see.
I don't really consider myself eloquent and intelligent enough, but this is what I think.
Thank you for this. I want to let my voice out like the anons did in those threads, this really would help me relax and want to continue watching the next episode.
Just watch it and get to the boat as fast as possible.
I agree wtih his point in principle, if there's a disconnect between what you think should have happened and what did happen, you shouldn't discount the chance that you missed stuff, and looking back with hindsight might help.
Of course if after that the disconnect still exists then feel free to call it out as garbage.
The problem with his blogpost, putting aside the fact that he wrote it out of butthurt because of the people from here disagreed with him, is that it comes of as extremely patronizing, that no matter how or why the writer is perfect and the viewer is an idiot for daring to disagree even in the slightest manner with how things panned out. I can "understand" why X or Y happened but that doesn't mean I'll or I should agree with it. Understanding doesn't mean agreement. And if you go back and don't see anything that supports X or Y but rather the Z then of course it is well beyond your right to be disagree with what occurred. But in his blog he's saying that the viewer should, does, not have that agency and should accept it yes or yes because the writer should know better than you the anime nerd watching at home. It's a massive fallacy, he's pretty much saying you can't criticize a meal unless you are a 5-stars cook yourself.
How about when you call something shit writing while explaining in huge detailed why you believe it is shit writing instead of just saying it's shit writing accompanied with 10 buzzwords?
I really don't think the SubaruxYume relationship was given attention to that much, I believe that it is something given by the creators as shipping fuel. I'd think of it as fanservice. I believe AkarixSena was handled well though, because their relationship is built around their trust and respect as professionals.
I want to calm down first. I don't want to watch anime with rage clouding my thoughts.
>if there's a disconnect between what you think should have happened and what did happen, you shouldn't discount the chance that you missed stuff, and looking back with hindsight might help.
I wasn't able to find words for this when typing my post, thank you.
>the writer should know better than you the anime nerd watching at home
Which is why I disagree with him. I believe the writer already has the watcher's perspective in mind. If you're writing a show thinking it should be above anyone's opinion it's best to be written to yourself.
Funny, I remember very clearly during the peak of the Lily discussion that there were tons of well constructed posts about the topic.
>I believe AkarixSena was handled well though, because their relationship is built around their trust and respect as professionals.
I'll always say that I liked Akari and Sena relationship because they were just bros. Never once I felt shippingbait or anything of the sort from them. Wish more series could do this.
>I want to calm down first. I don't want to watch anime with rage clouding my thoughts.
That's what one good week of arguing about the topic did for most. By the time the next episode aired everyone was pretty much apathetic about it and what happened during it.
tbqh I don't get too worked up over the writing. After all, it's a show primarily to sell trading cards to pre-teen girls. They are not going to employ the best writers and storyboard artists. Any good characters and storylines are a happy bonus. It kinda makes OGkatsu amazing in a way.
99% of anime productions are mean to sell you something. That isn't a good excuse for lackluster writing.
And yeah, Ex-Aid is a good counter-example. It's toyetic as all hell even for Rider and yet it has rock-solid writing because the writer gives a shit.
Even the suit acting has been amazing
Having no standards is as bad, if not worse, than having way too high standards. Conformism is murder.
Dan's suit actor is amazing. Apparently it is his first role and everything too making it even more impressive.
The reason why relationships worked in Of was because of the synergy between idols and designers, and adult figures. Stars falls flat because it only has one part of the equation.
I can totally understand people getting passionate about a show they like. I am totally in love with the original Aikatsu and can't stop thinking about it. Stars doesn't quite do that for me but it is still quite enjoyable.
reference image please idk who im suppose to draw..
Love You! thank you, I really enjoy drawing dresses.
>putting aside the fact that he wrote it out of butthurt because of the people from here disagreed with him
Him somehow coming out of this whole situation the most butthurt still gives me a good laugh.
I genuinely believe that this Rola outfit is the best civilian outfit in all of Aikatsu.
Are there any civilian clothes you guys liked a lot?
This is beautiful. Let the rage flow, /ai/non. I was only able to react more calmly than you when it happened because my anus had already been annihilated into a million tiny pieces by Pokémon a few months before.
This was the height of Ichigo's cuteness
>tfw you can't listen to IKU Z anymore without being reminded of the bitter taste of defeat
It's not fucking fair.
I don't regret it because it led me to discover /ai/ and its shows. I sure wish it could have happened without me spending time and getting emotionally invested in what ultimately turned out to be irredeemable shit, but what's done is done and at least I'm free from it now.
You wouldn't be able to understand why people truly got invested during that season if you weren't there. That's why the blow hurt more than ever, because there were actual reasons as to why believe more than ever.
Synchro was Arc-V's peak.
Yuri is cool!
Arc-V first year was really enjoyable.
Then Synchro was a mixed-bag. A lot of issues started to arise, yet still not complete shit.
I heard the third year was really terrible but I dropped that early on. Most of the things I liked about Arc-V during the standard were absent.(the worse offender is neglecting the very strong secondary cast they had build in favor of wanking legacy characters and other nonsense)
I still firmly believe it was written to have Ash winning with the Orange Shuriken. They figured Team Flare attacking would get them out of having to make a big deal of Ash winning, but the executive cunt still said, "Ash can't win, lol," and forced them to rewrite it to the shit we got.
Also fuck the guy who allocated the number of idle episodes. So many qts wasted.
>forced them to rewrite it
Barely. It feels like the only thing they had time to rewrite was Greninja somehow falling instead of Charizard. The rest of the battle is still 99% Greninja fucking Charizard's shit up.
