I think I start to understand Moroboshi now after seeing his motivations in this episode. The unexplainable bullshit that is the rainbow might be the reason why he does questionable things, he himself didn't understand how it works. Hime did overcome the rainbow through Moroboshi's guidance, but he didn't consider that Yume's mindset as an idol is different from Hime's. This might be why every keikaku he did at the beginning backfired.

Moroboshi was too focused on keikaku he forgot to mind the budget. I can see Yume's growth and resolve from her interactions with Lily.

So I just watched episode 48 and my opinion on it is this.

I'm not butthurt about Samui Takane losing to Rolls since while I think that Lili's the better character, Rola's constantly been stated to be one of the most talented members of the Song class (Tying and jobbing to Rainbow!Yume aside), and after deciding to follow her own path instead of copying Lili, I can believe that doing her own thing would allow her to win.
There's also the fact that (From a writing standpoint) if Rola'd still lost to Lili after following her own path instead of copying her, it'd send the message that Rola will always be inferior to Lili.

This new aura is sparklingly colorful! And she got to wear the same coord as episode 36 which slightly looks like Madoka's coord that I really liked.

Speaking of OGkatsu, the interactions between Subaru and Yume appear more blatant than Sena and Akari. I liked the way it was handled in OGkatsu though because their relationship as work partners were built up on trust and respect unlike the seemingly teenage puppy love shipping of Stars.

At first, I found Ako to be annoying as her early appearances only show her obsession over Subaru and her ability as an actress. Then I watched her episode where I found out that she's actually level-headed and is quick to admit her mistakes and improve on them. Her encouraging Yume at the Yuzukoshou episode showed that she actually does think of her friends. And this episode cemented my love for Ako, her resolve is really respectable. She's actually one of the better written characters in Stars in my opinion. I really like the fact that despite her lack of episodes that focus solely on her development, she still managed to be likeable because of how she acts toward the rest of the cast.

Having seen some pictures of Ako wearing the S4 uniform, I hope it's real. She's my favorite to win because I think she deserves it.

Read his post. I kinda get his point, but I don't think there should be an "objective" way to watch anime. I try to rationalize what the creator did with his work, but if the reason wasn't plausible enough for me I'll say I'm dissatisfied. It's not like everyone is trying hard to look good and act like a jaded teenager trying to gauge the subjective value of worth in an art form which is meant to be interpreted from different angles of perspective. Maybe that's what he meant of someone being "above" anime.

I believe it's not wrong for someone to criticize someone's work unless the critic says buzzwords, sweeping generalizations, or actual dislike for an aspect of the work that he didn't want to see.

I don't really consider myself eloquent and intelligent enough, but this is what I think.
