Waiting for TOC and rankings. Spoilers in
I WANT TO CUM INSIDE AZAMI.
No Megishima this chapter most likely
Clearly the author has no idea what to do with him
Hopefully the color page will be Tosuke so we can have another added to the collection
>Chapter 216- Isshiki finishes his dish
>Chapter 217- Isshiki announced as winner
>Chapter 218- Poketrainer dish/background info
>Chapter 219- Megishima dish/background info
>Chapter 220- Megishima announced as winner
Buckle up anon, it's going to be a long ride
I just want to see Erina and Takumi's matches.
I just wanna see Megumi's match; I miss her gentle and kind cooking.
I genuinely like meat, I find her puppy love endearing.
That being said, I'm a hundred percent in the Erina train.
>Isshiki wins this chapter, no dragging this one out.
rip to every isshikifag that wanted a nice match. megishimas match will be rushed next. kuga also.
takumi/megumi/erina will be the only characters with drawn out matches.
Megumi. The only ones unable to accept this are deluded Erinafags who can't accept that their gimmick useless waifu is garbage and not even remotely what Joichiro described to Souma as who he needs to be cooking for. Souma knows this, too.
I bet the Megishima reveal will be something like this
Isshiki is just grist for the despair mill. The way these kinds of stories are structured, the rebels need to claim early victories, only to then be crushed almost completely in return, and then pull off a miracle come from behind win.
So expect Megishima and Isshiki as the obvious two strongest weapons in the rebel arsenal to get taken out during that second part so things will feel hopeless.
The odds of Souma not being around at the end are extremely low. I mean it could happen; it's not impossible, but he is a shounen MC after all. If he actually does lose, it'll be right before the end too. No way he bows out early.
Just wanted to remind everyone that this is Megumi's future husband.
who cares, the manga pays literally attention to this apparent "shipping"
fuck, I can't even bother caring about relationships at all when soumas and erinas is moving at a snails pace. even dog and alice who are apparently married never have any of these sort of moments in the manga
Urara getting absolutely btfo when?
From left to right, parodies of:
1. Cafe Restaurant Skylark Gusto: Japanese family restaurant, similar to Applebees and Chili's
4. Saizeria: Japanese Italian fast food chain, similar to Olive Garden
5. Sukiya: Japanese Gyudon (beef bowl) fast food chain
All of these are major inexpensive restaurant chains. Fast food.
>SnS 3ds game
>Look up review because 99% of comic "games" are shitty
>Erina route is unlocked after you cleared every other route in the game (Alice, Meat, Megumi, Takumi, Curry, Dog)
>Erina delegated to register duty in a restaurant chain that serves uncultured pleb food
>Meat working in a chicken only joint with the cheapest quality chicken
>Souma working in the most soulless, corporate, and structured fast food chain on the planet that leaves no room for creativity
>Takumi working in a dumbed down Italian restaurant where breadsticks are considered the apex of authentic Italian cuisine
>Megumi working in a dive that has no need for slow, gentle, cooking or freshly grown fruit/veggies.
So they are all basically working in their own personal version of hell?
Yes pretty much. Not to mention, gyudon beef bowl is as far from "healthy food" Megumi is good at as you can be.
They're practically Japanese burgers in terms of calories, fat, and cholesterol.
You want truly tumblr art, anon?
Is the Stagiare arc in the anime.
Which kinda got reconnected since we know now that Takumi had a haircut for his.
Not all tumblr art is bad.
> Takumi x Megumi is a obvious pairing
> 0 japanese fanarts
WHY IS THIS ALLOWED?
It came too late and nips barely draw fanart of this anymore, unless it's gay shit.
Fujos shipped Takumi with Souma and for whatever reason Isami with Megumi.
They got BTFO hard.
Because it's only obvious to asshurt Erinafags desperate to pair the spare in hopes that Megumi won't win
hint: she already has wonthe Soumabowl. Since no one but those idiots even think that, of course there's no fucking art about a delusional crackship based on literally nothing. SouMegumi is endgame, fuckwits, accept it or be crucified.
It's the only thing we have to talk about.
I still find it amazing that that was 65 chapters ago.
literally the only good scene with Azami in it
They are becoming sisters.
She better no corrupt the Megu though
>Isami and Meat
>Curry and Hishoko
I feel like these came out of nowhere for the sake of pairing people up.
I don't really care if people fight over who should win the main shipping bowl but random pairings like this are just stupid.
His arc lasted for three fucking months.
When it comes to shipping characters I think people forget that just because we ship them, it doesn't mean they'll end up together or something after this arc. For example, people are shipping Takumi & Megumi because of the shipful moments from the past recent chapters alongside Soma & Erina and some people think that it's just forced and are afraid that their pairings will not happen because of they share little interactions or not a long history together. Well, anyone who thinks that are just idiots like do you honestly believe Soma & Erina or Takumi & Megumi will end up together or something after this arc because of the teases? HELL NO. That isn't even how relationships work not to mention they all don't have feelings for one another in the first place so them or anyone else being paired up will be something near the end of the series or at the end of the series, maybe when they're a bit older
If Soma gets paired up with someone at the end of this arc then that's pretty much a sign that this is the final arc and the end of this series in my opinion. So as of now in the series, there's still a chance that Soma could end up with Megumi, Meat, or even Hishoko based off their interactions for their reaming life at Tootsuki for the next 2 years even though it's pretty obvious Erina's end game. Hopefully this gives a new light to shippers
>King of dragons
Gonna be slain by this guy, obviously.
The second last match is probably going to be Erina and Souma vs Tsukasa and Rindou.
That being said, what's probably going to happen is that someone on team rebel is going to sacrifice themselves so the other can beat their opponent.
So /a/, what's more likely:
>Souma focuses on improving Erina's dish than his own.
>Erina focuses on improving Souma's dish than her own.
This chapter seems boring for me. Maybe because I don't really care about PSD or most of the people in it.
This is too fucking slow.
I'd rather they pull a Katanagatari and next chapter we have Erina and Souma discussing how they beat the 1st seat.
Why are you bitching like a little girl? If that Royal is the Royal here, then the translations we'd be getting would be far superior to NS's, as Royal's a native speaker. The chapter release is quicker than NS, too.
>a chapter dedicated to the PSD
Not gonna lie, I actually yawned at the end.
What an amazing moment.
He defeated a jobber with the PSD's dish. Impressing.
I'm talking about characters you don't want to see an independent story on, because a fucking tree would be more interesting.
She's just here to confirm that Erina is important enough to have her personal valet.
Erina > Rindou > Takumi > Hisako > Kuga > Alice > Gumi > Giganigga.
I wanted to put more boys in but they are mostly shit.
So is Isshiki the closest to being on Jou's level back when he was a student? His style is actually pretty similar to Souma with the difference being that Souma's base is diner food. It kind of makes sense that he left or got kicked out of his family considering that traditional Japanese cooking is pretty rigid.
The fact that Isshiki managed to throw in a bunch of random ingredients into the dish and actually make it work shows his true level of skill
He deserves the first seat on the E10 next year
Yeah, the fact that he tells Julio that he hasn't seen anything yet and only used these ingredients to prove a point still leaves room for him to pull off another big win. Even Rindou had no idea what he made so that shows just how creative his dish was.
Rindou = Alice > Meat > Megumi > rest
>cause she doesn't do anything
This part confuses me since 99.9% of the cast haven't done anything important in the longest time since so much of the focus has been solely on Souma.
I think Megumi will win her first match, and Erina will lose her first match. But then Megumi will win against whoever she's paired against in the next battle, and we'll come to a showdown between Rin and Souma.
Gonna be a waste for all the focus she's getting and that it's Erina first time to actually strut her stuff only for her to lose.
Then again, seeing her knocked down a few pegs would go a long way for more character development.
>rindou is stronger than eishi
crap seems like lot of baseless waifufagging to me
I personally don't care for that theory but it has the omake thing that puts it as a possibility, that she acts the same way as Jou or Isshiki and that she is probably the most hyped elite and we haven't see her do shit yet.
The best but not really because the one under him is actually better has been done much in the manga already.
Jou didn't describe anything
He just said that Soma will cook his best food for the woman he loves...which from what the series indicates is Erina since Soma always tries hard to impress her
>Just some betafags who envy their awesomeness
No one envies anything about Curry and Dog. They're both complete edgy jobbers especially Dog and Curry made the manga fall in the rankings. No one really cares about either of them especially Dog since he never got a spot onto the popularity polls.
I hope we get a cute little Christmas flashback in between.
Erina seems to exude an aura that encourages masturbation
This is just as boring as seeing the first rounds of a tennis tournament or something. The real matches can't come soon enough, this manga is getting pretty monotonous and predictable. I'm skipping all the cooking explanation and just admiring the art, and not even the fodgasms are good lately (maybe Tosh is saving the best for the end of the tournament, who knows).
I''m literally reading this on autopilot. Just tell me when Erina or Rindou's turn comes to be hyped again.
For the look, eel risotto.
>so what's issiki's edgy nickname?
you mean chuuni nickname. All their nicknames are max chuuni.
Erina's not losing at all this tournament. Her plot armor is temporarily stronger than even Souma's. And the rebels are winning the tournament.
But they have a shit ton of squares in them though, I use an old monitor and even then if I bother not using stretch to fit screen then the squares become super obvious, and when using the stretch to fit you can still see squares.
That's with the volume scans as well. Along with the gimp translations and it's not always gonna be better.
Yes. Think of it like this: Souma is at the first stage, where he uses his own experience and ideas in his creative dishes, Isshiki is at the stage where he uses other people's experiences and merge it all together, in a new creative dish.
He's Soma but the base dishes he's working with are from traditional Japanese rather than diner food. They will work together to finally perfect the peanut butter and squid dish
Honestly, both versions have mediocre to bad typeset and translations far from good and have big downsides. Well, would be stupid to expect from speedlate better quality, and from niggerstream not being niggerstream.
>score a bunch of random shit from everyone in the dorm
>combine it all to elevate a dish beyond what it could be capable of
>literally crush a fool with the entire might of the Polar Star Dorm
Isshiki is either the hero this series deserves, or he's the future Apocalypse.
The PSD are non-characters at this point. They haven't done a fucking thing since the Autumn elections. What's not to hate when 90% of the cast was delegated to cheerleading duty?
Why do you think I'm a leech? Because your evidence as a superior translator is already proven in this thread by your non existent evidence while I've made no implications on my language proficiency or financial consumption on manga?
You do realize the whole thread knows you're just trying to get (you)s without realizing it yourself right? That's why you're acting like you matter. That's why only I replied to you, cause I pitied how stupid you were.
But then again I've already typed enough words to fill up your whole vocabulary, so I'm not sure if you can even process it all. Feel free to act like I'm mad to deflect all the valid points I've made.
Julio's dish was well executed but it seems like he did a pretty standard preparation of eel. Isshiki's was clearly better in that he created a dish that no one had ever seen before and was able to create balance between a whole bunch of random shit that most people wouldn't be able to easily recreate. There was no bullshit about how Julio didn't consider the temperature of the room or anything. Why can't the author have Soma win a straight up victory like this instead of asspulls?
Tsukuda made the E10 powerlevel higher than he expected to be, and put them against Souma way too early.
Basically, he wrote himself in a corner and had to improvise (read:asspull)
Because Julio only became an E10 due to others dropping out as opposed to Nene having earned her spot for the most part, and also that Apron-senpai is superior to Souma as proven by that latest editor chart. It might not be canon, but it's the closest thing we've got to it, much better than everyone pushing their headcanon around.
It is odd that there always seems to be an extenuating circumstance when Souma wins, other than like beating Gigga.
I think it's because the survivor hunt got cut short. I really think we were meant to see Megu and Meat's matches and find out more about Mea and the rest of Ren's crew. In the process we'd see the first years get stronger.
Maybe Ibusaki is ripped from eating jerky after a good workout.
Or maybe he's reincarnated Goblin Slayer.
Ah yes the survivor hunt, when the sophomores were introduced as a bunch of wacky, new characters but they were never expanded upon. Why does Tsukuda keep doing that? He did that with the PSD crew in chapter 5.
