He was just remembering the good old days when shading and noses still mattered.
>entirely convinced he is that he's right
Are you implying he isn't? Had Kishi not pulled off that Kaguya and Zetsu bullshit, Madara lotus eater machine would be the best solution to ending all the suffering of the world.
Madara was right, even the fucking anime staff knew he was.
I actually want Gaara to join Shukaku again. Maybe Shukaku after seeing how Kurama is beryl close to Naruto, decides he wants to become even better so joins forces with Gaara, i tsunade be a nice power boost for Gaara too.
honestly that's not even a time thing, the animation quality goes wildly up and down through the whole series
the only thing that's static about this whole series is how comically poorly sound effects are done (after shows like gup, it's absolutely hilarious how stuff in older shows sound)
I started to watch Naruto when it was around the Rasengan arc, and Iswitched to the manga when the anime was on Pain arc. To be honest, it's not great.
Most of the fight sceens are sub-par and the story went bananas, but the final Naruto vs Sasuke fight is worth watching.
nah they all left a small amount of their energy in naruto so they could meet in him and discuss if needed, but assumedly most of their energy will re-amass and they will reincarnate
although now that they're not super angry monsters and more of just sentient beings it'd be nice to see in boruto if they change the nature of hosts and tailed beasts
the only reason anyone cares about this is because they're a fujo or are here for the cute girls (me included)
honestly despite its lows and getting lost dragging its feet a lot
-I'm looking at you part when the manga stagnated to chasing akatsuki and sasuke edginess with no plot developments until shikamaru's arc
-also the kage summit retardation and the 5 kages and random lightning ninjas (characters we're not familiar with or care about) fighting shit in the war
the high parts of naruto are really great though
I mean there's definitely better stuff out there though, but the popularity needs to continue so I can keep getting my 12 year old hinata lewds
I really can't pinpoint where Naruto started to go downhill, but until the beginning of shipudden it was rather ok, despite all the fillers.
After that everything seemed to be falling apart. At least we can agree that Hinata is best girl.
Naruto is a horrible story (most of the time) but its world has a lot of potential to be great.
Hopefully Boruto's slow start means it will be focused on fleshing out the characters and world building instead of rushing into fights.
I really just feel it's up and down, the stuff I honestly don't like is probably (although I'm sure it varies for some people):
the sannin arc,
a lot of the akatsuki-chasing shit, like when they waste a whole volume fighting itachi and kisame only for them to just be projections at half their actual power (and the slow gathering of hosts,
also after the timeskip, the threat of death seems a lot more removed (I honestly, I think gaara and guy at the very least should be dead, the pain thing didn't come off as poorly
the establishment of interesting and fun characters with cool stories that don't get fleshed out enough,
sasuke (despite getting a ton of focus, he honestly doesn't change at all in his goals or retardation until he starts raising the dead),
and they do a mistake they made repeatedly in fillers late in the manga where they make characters we don't care about fight more characters we don't care about
to have a shounen battle manga, you want a good balance of action, drama, and comedy that stays about the same as it goes on (otherwise you'll alienate people that were fans at the start) while meeting the deadlines and whatever your crazy editor says, naruto really started to abandon those to keep up with some twisted demand for constant fighting
Honestly, the main kick I get out of Naruto is that it's been 10 years since its popular peak and 3 since it ended and it still triggers norms and weeaboos that try too hard to fit in
I fucking hope so. To be honest I just want show about old characters and their adventures and life, not some literally who kids.
Also can someone fucking tell me why are they all chuunin level when they just started the academy?
they're all pretty great, but only 1 is the cutest
yeah, some more blank period stuff would be neat
Anyone else hate the last episode? The whole thing was stupid as fuck.
>First quarter all the information that was communicated was, "girl is being stalked, maybe"
>Pointless scene where they show them buying food
>Why is brown bitch talking so much?
>Horrible food joke/analogy/abortion
>Find stalker with no effort or conflict at all
>The most uncomfortable and awkward scene written in Naruto history happens and goes on for two minutes too long
>The parts where they were inside the school avoiding the stalker were actually entertaining and well-animated
>Scene goes outside, where right before a fight scene happens brown bitch decides she wants to keep talking again
>We get horribly written food analogies from this completely irrelevant character in lieu of a fight scene.
>Scene pretty much just ends
>Talking about bullshit the rest of the episode
Everything about the stalker plot irked me. It's like it started to redeem itself after that awful scene where he is pressured into confessing after being outed as a stalker but then Choji's kid decides she needs to be the star when the episode wasn't even about her, it was about the class rep. This episode just felt really unfocused and pointless, like it was a Frankenstein of what this episode was supposed to be, girl getting stalked, and another episode where brown bitch got development.
>Also can someone fucking tell me why are they all chuunin level when they just started the academy?
All of the main cast are the top students in their classes and are descendants direct of the strongest ninja that fought in the 4th shinobi war.
Denki and Sumire have no ability as ninja in comparison since one has a no name ninja as a father and the other is an orphan.
>tfw if danzo lived, sumire could've been an edgy powerful root assassin
honestly I'd be ok though if with the time of peace and stuff, there'd be more mediocre jobs and such for people working for the village, that's the reason the academy is doubling as a regular school too now anyways, I don't think denki's dad even intends to let his son become a ninja too
I'm rewatching naruto and I found a new related plot hole.
After the fight Chiyo+Sakura against Sasori, Tobi and Zetsu come to recover his Akatsuki ring and Tobi asks if he can now become a member since there is one new free slot. Black Zetsu says that it's not that easy and White Zetsu responds that Tobi is a good kid and they should let him in.
Problem is both Zetsu should know Tobi is Obito and there was nobody else there.
My favorite plot hole is the timeline problems.
Orochimaru left the Akatsuki 7 years before the end of Part 1.
The problem with that is that it means that Itachi was at least fucking 10 when he joined the organization. 3 years before the Uchiha massacre.
Speaking of plot holes I think Kabuto was initially supposed to have an entirely different backstory in part 1.
Originally it seemed like he wanted to betray Orochimaru (Orochimaru noticed it and told him to kill Sasuke if he wanted to stop him) but by the end of his story Kishi made it seem like he admired Orochimaru and clung to him for stability instead.
>All of the main cast are the top students in their classes and are descendants direct of the strongest ninja that fought in the 4th shinobi war
Doesn't explain why they're at that level when entering the Academy. Remember that main cast of Naruto was also mostly children of leaders of their respective clans, while Naruto was child of 4th Hokage and Sasuke was an Uchiha, but they were still shit when at the academy.
Holy shit I never noticed that
Yeah, I noticed this.
Also I remember they said that Hiruzen was actually the strongest Hokage and also the strongest Kage of his reign.
Then fucking Hashirama happened.
Let's try to name all the plotholes
>How the fuck did someone give a 10 year old invasive eye surgery without him or his parents noticing something was wrong?
>Danzo being invented in Part 2
>everyone and their grandmother knew who Naruto's parents were but no one ever slipped and told him until he was fucking 15
>Hiruzen fearing Jobber Namikaze and not the fucking God brothers
I think he's talking about sasuke's ability to survive shit that really should've killed him, probably either his retarded plan to kill the 5 kages all at the same time or when he tried to kill B
>character that is out of chakra suddenly musters all his remaining chakra and uses one last move when in need
It might be stupid but it isn't a plothole. Also every anime does this.
>that 40 minute special where they meet Sasuke in orochimarus hideout
>basically a 5 minute scene drawn out to 40 minutes
>includes techniques that are never used again, such as sasuke literally blowing up the entire hideout with his mind, and then escaping by going up in flames
Yeah shippuden was awesome
That's true but I liked all the Kage that were introduced in the war. The ones revived from death were more interesting than all of the other edo tensei zombies aside from Dan, Sasori, Itachi, and Haku.
Mifune was cool too and made want to see more Samurai.
Well she is a princess after all
You know I was thinking the Shin clones probably have the highest growth potential out of the young ninja other than Mitsuki and Boruto.
They can learn all the advanced Uchiha techniques like susanoo, kamui, etc and could probably live after eating tailed beast meat (gaining jinchuriki-like powers) thanks to their special bodies.
I'm interested to see what will happen to them in the Boruto series.
I never realized Chouji and Karui were on the same panel before.
Mito Uzumaki. Not exactly a literal who since she's also part of Jinchuuruki and the one that thaught Kushina ( which, in turn taught Naruto) about the deeper meaning of being a jinchuuruki instead of just a living, breathing, walking nuke
This is a dumb argument that is straying further and further away from anime so feel free to continue being bewildered over how x group of people can enjoy something that's grown far from a niche hobby
I'm not saying people like that don't exist, I was bewildered by anon thinking that ONLY those people watch Naruto, even though there is probably less than average percentage of people watching anime in those demographics.
Because maybe they were just pretending to be a retarded newfig? IIRC, only Itachi, Nagato and Konan knew that Tobi was "Madara Uchiha" while the rest of the Akatsuki believed Pain was the real leader.
Zetsu and Kisame both knew too.
I'm asking why the fuck would two (three) people pretend being retarded when they're fucking alone. There is nobody there to play theatre for anon.
It's more for the readers than the actual story. Tobi was supposed to be a mystery. So him just going "I'm Obito pretending to be Madara who is pretending to be retarded." around Zetsu would mess up the storytelling Kishi was trying to do.
That's not an excuse, he should have another member standing there then so it makes sense.
The truth is that Kishimoto didn't know either that Tobi is going to be Obito yet, or that Zetsu is also in on the madara secret.
I think Obito wasn't even mentioned until later and his only appearance was this photo when they wanted to show that Kakashi was student of Minato. I don't think the Obito plot was developed at all in Kishimoto's head.
Obito was mentioned (Not directly) when Naruto said he wanted to be on that mounument at the training grounds. And when Kakashi visited it after Konoha Crush. And the manga had a cover with Kakashi having a picture of his old team. So Obito's existence basically has been relevant throughout part 1's story.
>when Kakashi visited it after Konoha Crush
holy shit you're right, I forgot about that
Well I guess you might be right then, Kishi just didn't know how exactly is that story going to play out.
>They can learn all the advanced Uchiha techniques like susanoo, kamui, etc
Susanoo, Izanagi, and Izanami yes. But aside from Susanoo you only get two other Mangekyou techniques, and it looks like their two are that weapon manipulation jutsu and the version of kamui that was in Obito's right eye.
How did Madara get two Rinnegan to give to Nagato when he used one for Izanagi to escape Hashirama. Because he didn't transplant one of his eyes just in case prior to the fight because he was spamming Susanoo which requires both eyes. And he couldn't of gotten the Rinnegan from a replacement Sharingan afterwards because that wouldn't have been an Eternal Mangekyo
EXPLAIN THIS SHIT
I have no idea, but speaking of Susanoo
>Kakashi & Obito apparently can control a perfect susanoo despite not having the required eyes
>Itachi's perfect susanoo doesn't have the totsuka sword or yata mirror, it's just a generic one katana tengu
>Any & all information we got about the totsuka sword or yata mirror was from white zetsu & never corroborated by a more viable source
>How in the hell did he even get those?
>How do you give them to a susanoo?
And of course
>How did neither Obito & especially Kakashi suffer substantial lose of vision from all their spamming, when Sasuke is show to have vision lose after doing the same (less than Obito) in the space of a day
Gaining the rinnegan restored his right eye. This is literally shown the page after he sacrificed his right eye to come back to life.
This doesn't actually say it restored his eye, it just says Hashirama's meat allowed him to awaken the Rinnegan. But fine, I suppose that's the best interpretation. I don't actually want this to be a plot hole, but for me this wasn't an explanation. It just posed further questions.
>How did neither Obito & especially Kakashi suffer substantial lose of vision
>How in the hell did he even get those?
>How do you give them to a susanoo?
this has always bothered me
>How did neither Obito & especially Kakashi suffer substantial lose of vision from all their spamming, when Sasuke is show to have vision lose after doing the same (less than Obito) in the space of a day
Obito had his Sharingan implanted right into his Hashirama cell body and Kakashi started getting blind during the war
Why didn't Tobirama realize it was a shadow clone?
Did he not try & dissect it?
If it did vanish after being cut open why did Tobirama never tell Hashirama?
Even if he didn't tell Hashirama why didn't he do something about it himself? He never trusted the Uchiha. Madara states he planed to leave because of Tobirama's actions alienating the Uchiha
That explains Obito but not Kakashi, why isn't blind as a bat? Kakashi only started to go blind during the war (after apparently training with it so much that he can use it without collapsing for a month or even needing a break during the war) when again, Sasuke starts to go blind after fighting Danzo, which means he's only been using it for that one day (he only used Amatarasu once against bee)
I mean unless you say Kakashi has more chakra control (if that even matters) than Sasuke when it comes to Magenkyo abilities I just don't see it
Well, Naruto is different than Asura and Hashirama since he's an idiot, while Sasuke is different from Indra and Madara since unlike the other two, who seek power and authority, Sasuke ultimately seeks peace and to end the cycle of hatred, like Naruto
To survive dissection and outlive Tobirama who wasn't even Hokage yet? Without any trace of not being a human body? Fooling any & all sensors & tests that might test this? Remaining active even when Madara is unconscious?
Remaining active for years? Complete with all secret Uchiha techniques, physiotherapy & modifications to satisfy Tobirama & not make him suspicious?
Even if he could make a permanent shadow clone that would survive having it's insides removed and whatever experiments a person who created the Edo Tensai would perform, why would he do this? Why on earth would he give Tobirama what he wants?
It just doesn't add up. Either that shadow clone vanished and Tobirama knew, Tobirama didn't dispose of the body but then didn't do anything with it (bullshit) or Madara created the perfect shadow clone that he knew Tobirama would have his way with, Tobirama who Madara knew disliked & mistrusted the Uchiha. The very man Madara stated he was leaving the leaf village because of, allowing Tobirama to gain insider knowledge of not only the Uchiha but of Madara himself
None of that makes any sense whatsoever.
So Boruto having a special eye is the result of Hogoromo/Hamura chakra combining?
It's probably Hyuuga version of Rinnenga, since Rinnengan requires the chakra of Indra and Ashura (or their reincarnation), so too is Boruto's new Dojutsu
I'd argue the title of worst part of naruto either goes to the Naruto vs Kiba fight or the Sakura vs Ino fights in the Chunin exam or that span of time where Naruto has his Bijuu form with no explanation as to it's limits & is singlehandedly punking every enemy he comes across and everyone is just fucking watching
Y'know, prior to Madara making things even again
>A sword that can seal whomever it strikes
>The Kusanagi blade can apparently cut through anything
>The Samurai all have chakra compatible weapons
>One of the Seven swords of the mist is just an oversized axe
>Someone just really liked the number 7
Reading through the earlier chapters, I miss Tsunade's cleavage.
Seeing as how he says "I left a shadow clone" does that mean he used a second Izanagi to keep it going? Because attributing his shadow clone to Izanagi just creates more problems
While this is true, using individual Mangekyo techniques is shown to cause pain & bleeding themselves. So there's no reason to believe Susanoo causes more pain & blindness than other techniques other than afecting both eyes at the same time. Obviously the pain lasts as long as susanoo is active so that is something. But spamming a single eye technique should cause the same amount of damage for that respective eye right? I mean how fucking damaged must Kakashi's blood vessels be around his eye? Tsunade must be proscribing him optrex & cotton pads like crazy to say the least
Obviously, so did he use it to deflect anything like White Zetsu claims it can is what I asked.
I'm aware of what White Zetsu claims it does, I just don't remember it ever being used
Thanks, I didn't think so
By the end of the serious Naruto is capable of creating shadow clones capable of taking serious hits and only dispersed from shit that could actually kill them. It's possible that Madara can create shadow clones that don't disperse when they die.
Holy shit. I never noticed the Haku parallel. And that chapter title, Jesus.
I did think that Obito was intended to be the main villain who was behind the Kyuubi attack and the Uchiha massacre all along, but this is practically proof.
Well if I'll believe anyone can create a shadow clone capable of surviving it's organs being harvested, surviving for decades and showing no sign whatsoever, it's Madara. However this still creates the plothole of why Madara would do it.
Remember to convince Tobirama that the Shadow Clone is the real Madara's body it'd have to have a working Sharingan that would work after being transplanted to a new host & convince that host that their eyes aren't shadow cloned. Even if he is capable of it, why would he give Tobirama access to a copy of his Eternal Magenkyo Sharingan?
Do you see where this is getting unbelievable?
Guynata and Hinabunta are kinda underused too
I don't think you understand.
>Tobirama hides the body
>After a certain amount of time Izanagi activates
>Rewrites reality so it was a shadow clone instead of him that died
>Real Madara continues rusing and getting rused until he dies of old age
>Still a chunin
>Students don't respect him
>Mediocre at teaching
>Represses his bugs to avoid creeping out his peers and his students
>Have to babysit his friends' little brats everyday
>Low self esteem
>Lost to 3 kids
>No waifu to support him
Being Shino is suffering
Tenten might of gotten with Rock Lee, we don't know yet. Shino I don't know.
My reasoning for Tenten being with Lee is because all of the New Generation are clones of the fathers with an aesthetic difference.
Boruto is Naruto with a crazy Dojutsu & reversed motivation
Shikadai is Shikkamaru no Temari
Sarada is Sasuke with a bit of Sakura's personality
Inojin is a blond Sai. Seriously, if he's so good at Super beast scroll why hasn't he got any Yamanaka clan techniques. That shit's a tradition
Chojo is a mullato female Choji
Kankuro's kid is just Kankuro with a better puppet
Inojin not having Yamanaka clan techniques is the only one that pisses me off since Boruto isn't going to learn Gentle fist without the Byakugan and the others are all generic
The real question is Kiba & Konohamaru. Iruka I give a pass to
Are you even reading my posts? If you're new to 4chan then some advice, that's a bad idea, it leads to situations like this where people just repeat themselves.
The entire reason I'm mentioning this is because I thought it would vanish (as I mentioned again & again in later posts)
The only reason it got this far was because of this retarded question >>157534516
Try and keep up lad
>Inojin is a blond Sai. Seriously, if he's so good at Super beast scroll why hasn't he got any Yamanaka clan techniques. That shit's a tradition
He probably does but we haven't had a chance to see it yet. Taking mental possession of your classmates is rather extreme for the situations we've seen so far.
Boruto will shoot quincy arrows and become an excorcist
>Inojin not having Yamanaka clan techniques
Uses it in the manga
Boruto isn't going to learn Gentle fist without the Byakugan and the others are all generic
His fighting style during the Chunin Exams shows that he uses the form for Gentle Fist. And you don't need the byakygan for the Gentle Fist to be useful/dangerous. You won't be able to accurately manipulate your opponent's chakra, but you can still damage their organs.
The biggest plothole in Naruto is the ninja system. Jonin being mostly jobbers despite being called the elite? Chunin is known as a leadership role? Non child genin? The third hokage being a powerless bitch in political affairs? This entire ninja system was so fucking inconsistent.
No it doesn't.
It doesn't make sense because of Tobirama. If the shadow clone dies instead of real Madara then we're left in a position where Tobirama still has a Shadow Clone Madara he wants to study
If Kishimoto didn't mention Tobirama in this page >>157533935 it would make sense. But because he mentions Tobirama has Madara's shadow cloned body for his personal study it creates that plothole I'm already discussing here
It's not massive or anything, but it doesn't make sense
>Still a chunin
Is he? I'm not saying he isn't because I don't know but from the way Shikamaru & Naruto talk about him I got the impression he was a Jonin & left because he wanted to teach
While I agree, it still could have come in handy to mention when they were trying to restrain the various dark chakra possessed people such as metal
All I want is lip service
Well this is disappointing. What's even the point if you can't use it effectively. I'm hoping the anime puts him through a convincing hard work and determination defies expectation training arc similar to Naruto learning the Rasengan.
>naruto learns fuck all in the 3 years he trains with Jiraiya
This is by far the biggest plothole, prove me wrong. He learned the rasengan in weeks, learned rasenshuriken which was an incredible godlike original jutsu in a week, learned sage mode, sage arts, sage jutsu all in a week and learned to fully control 9 tails in no time at all too.
Sasuke's progress was actually really on point though. He learned a shitload of new stuff and perfected all his old jutsu.
>Tobirama still has a Shadow Clone Madara he wants to study
I think if he wanted to keep studying Madara he wouldn't have put the body in a coffin and sealed said coffin. Tobirama was already an expert on the Uchiha so his autopsy was probably done relatively fast. And if shadow clones can breathe, who's to say they don't have organs?
That pissed me off too. He traveled with one of the legendary Sannin and he didn't learn shit, he didn't even know his own elemental affinity or even how he could learn what the clone learned after they poof.
Naruto was just cursed to get shitty teachers who never teach him shit. All Kakashi ever taught his team was the tree walking exercise.
There is nothing more boring in the manga than to see a naruto fight when naruto is predestined to job. It's always some shadow doppelganger faggotry and a few rasengan here and there.
Naruto is too stupid to learn any complex jutsus that require more hand seals. Look at the evidence:
Shadow clones only take the one hand seal and Rasengan is just chakra manipulation.
Then Sage mode is just standing still to gather chakra which he then uses to simply boost his rasengan potential.
I can't believe Jiraiya teached Naruto summoning techniques day one and made him form a contract with the mountain toads almost immediately, something only very few people have access to, but didn't get him to learn sage arts in the time skip.
Someone spread a rumor Shino semen was actually made up of millions of microscopic big eggs waiting to hatch inside anyone he jizzed in
>What's even the point if you can't use it effectively
When it comes to Gentle Fist you only need the Byakugan to hit chakra points and block/avoid shit behind you. You can still target vital organs because those aren't going to shift around, and because of his Hyuuga blood he can still eject chakra from every single one of his chakra points.
not only was Nagato's plan the best, it turned out he was completely right. The only thing keeping the new peace the ninja world has is the overhanging threat of not one but two Ninja Jesus' who could wipe out cities with their power.
Once Naruto and Sasuke die the world would collapse back to fighting village against village once again until some new super strong ninja comes along to force peace.
>Once Naruto and Sasuke die the world would collapse back to fighting village against village once again until some new super strong ninja comes along to force peace.
Not if Boruto and Sarada become their successors along with their children and the children after them.
I'm reading the manga for the first time now. The manga is actually surprisingly quick paced, so fast that I think you will really miss out on many good moments if you don't watch them in the anime since they have pretty weak impact in the manga although the content is strong in itself.
whenever he and Naruto argued Naruto never had a real answer, the last time they spoke it was just "leave it to me" and "okay, I'll revive the character's I've killed in one of the most memorable arcs of all time"
what a fucking hack
It only takes one.
>Inojin is a blond Sai. Seriously, if he's so good at Super beast scroll why hasn't he got any Yamanaka clan techniques
He has according to the data book and he hasn't learn it before gaiden (aka the anime)
>put the body in a coffin and sealed said coffin
If he didn't intend to reopen the coffin for his own uses then that's disposing of the body, which Tobirama is stated as not doing. In fact it's stated he kept the body because it was a "treasure chest" while he was "studying the sharingan"
As for the rest
>Tobirama was already an expert on the Uchiha so his autopsy was probably done relatively fast. And if shadow clones can breathe, who's to say they don't have organs?
I've already pointed this out, again read my posts.
Obviously I'm repeating myself but even if Madara could create a perfect, permanent shadow clone, it raises the question of why.
But please, I don't want to repeat myself a fourth time, just read what I've already said
And he barely does anything fancy with his Shadow Clones. He just pops them out and have them run headfirst into an enemy who defeats them like nothing.
And the Rasengan was hyped to be able to mix with all the elements. Naruto only used one and just made the Rasengan bigger.
How strong was Nagato really? I liked it better when him having the rinnegan wasn't explained, him just being a random kid who just happened to be near Madara ruined his character, and him being manipulated by everyone, and he isn't even that strong.
Which leads to the next plothole, Naruto learning shadow doppelgangers in not even a hour trough a scroll despite him being unable to make a shit tier illusion doppelganger and never understanding anything without being shown first.
Does anyone else realize Naruto is basically a scrub without Kurama bailing him out? Fuck, Naruto would have died long ago and/or lost every fight without Kurama. His only legit win was Mizuki.
Teaches himself Shadow Clones
Kakashi teaches him Tree walking
Jiraiya teaches him water walking, Summoning, Rasengan & Odama Rasengan
With Yamato's help Kakashi teaches him Chakra nature
The frog sages teach him sage mode
Bee, Kushina & Kurama teach him Bijuu stuff
And that's it folks
Naruto did not have a stellar education focus. Most of his teachers just rode on his own abilities
>Naruto only used one and just made the Rasengan bigger
From the description they gave in the manga rasenshuriken is supposed to be like deidara's bodycell bombing only without any weakness and the effect is instant. Of course later it was merely used as a force of destructive power.
I think that faggot meant that when Izanagi activated, it rewrote reality by replacing the real Madara who got killed by a shadow clone. Ergo, Hashirama stabbed a clone and Madara didn't die.
Of course, this begets the problem that Hashirama got fooled by a shadow clone, but whatever.
>Hopefully Kaguya will be better.
I am afraid that the manga peaked at the pain arc. From that point on the manga went completely fucking downhill like a train with no brakes.
It's a boring, uninspired and uninteresting chore to read.
So the world would continue believing he was dead? He lost a 1-on-1 against fight against Hashirama and lost Kurama, if word got out that he was still alive everyone would be gunning for him.
>I am afraid that the manga peaked at the pain arc
The Pain Arc was only good if you didn't know the ending. You wouldn't think they would pull the biggest retcon in anime history, but they do and it's so fucking retarded it ruins the whole arc. It's like ME3, entertaining enough but the ending kills it.
They are all objectively a shit character with no fucking personality. Murrican otakus only like her cause it's their submissive typical hime fantasy. Even her fucking haircut and her fucking blind looking eyes. Unsettling it is.
And how much is that?
I don't actually think that's true, but even still, the Rinnegan is supposed to be impossibly rare, but a guy just happens to be close enough for no reason.
I'm starting to think the editors didn't let Kishi do all he wants in the Invasion of Pain arc (all the characters he had killed so far had not been revived) so he said fuck it and gave Naruto to his editors
And now Bort has almost mastered the rasengen shortly after graduating ninja school, and even unconsciously added wind chakra to it. Yeah, something that neither Minato, Kakashi (Kages and the geniuses of their respective generations) and Jiraiya (a Sannin) never did. And that Nardo, the reincarnation of a ninja demigod, had trouble with.
That was fucking stupid as fuck. They tried to add some artificial risk to some overpowered jutsu but rather than going trough with the risks they never bothered again with it but also never mentioned the effect of rasenshuriken destroying body cells again.
>Of course, this begets the problem that Hashirama got fooled by a shadow clone, but whatever.
Yes but it also means Tobirama got fooled by a shadow clone too. So fooled he took it home for study. And then either was convinced it was real & got real information from it, as well as a shadow cloned Eternal Magenkyo Sharingan that's so well done you're convinced it's real (ie. it fucking works) or he eventually saw through it and didn't tell anyone or did anything once it became clear when Madara's dead body wasn't Madara's dead body. Even after he becomes Hokage. The Tobirama who was anti Uchiha from beginning to end.
Like seriously, it's fucking stupid
That's the problem with Naruto, it's like one of the writers tries to make these rules to prevent scope creep and then one arc later they completely forgot about their own rules. Remember how in the first arc only REALLY strong ninja were supposed to have visible chakra? Fucking everyone has visible chakra, who doesn't have visible chakra? Remember when Kakashi was became bedridden after using his base level Sharingan? The motherfucker really got better at using it all of a sudden. Re-watching this show is painful because half the scenes don't make sense in hindsight.
What's even with the third hokage not stopping the retarded idea to destroy the uchiha clan? The village elders having so much power was a retcon for sure. Kishi could have made up any kind of story about that but he picked the worst.
Not him but maybe if the Sharingan isn't active when he died it doesn't activate after death?
It's a stretch but if Madara was willing to give everything but the EMS then maybe the Sharingan wasn't active on point of death?
Again total stretch but it's all I got to explain away why Tobirama didn't have a copy of Madara's EMS
Thanks Captain obvious
How was destroying the Uchiha retraded? Weren't they about to rise up against the village? Honestly, having one person on the inside stealthily wipe them out before they acted was the most efficient course of action. Problem was treating Itachi like a fucking criminal for doing his job, and then having Itachi explain none of this shit to Sasuke. I also doesn't make any fucking sense that he would kill all the children, what the fuck do they have to do with planning the coup?
Seriously, the story is filled with plot holes, Kishi made a really interesting world and then went on expanding the story without thinking about what he actually wanted to do.
Okay, so remember when Danzo was spamming Izanagi during his fight with Sasuke? Sasuke didn't think "Oh shit why did I miss for no apparent reason?" Danzo fucking faded out of existence and appeared somewhere else.
They literally could have just arrested them on the suspicions of a coup. The Uchiha clan was full of jobbers anyway and Itachi would have done most of the job. Killing them for whatever reason was fucking retarded and Itachi going trough with it although he is supposedly really intelligent was retarded as fuck.
It made sense by Danzo's point, but I don't see how 3rd would ever allow that to happen, the Uchiha were still a part of the village. And as you said, the biggest problem is that Itachi and Obito killed ALL the Uchiha, there was absolutely no reason for that, and it makes no sense. There would've been dozens of infants, kids, pregnant women. How about normal people who weren't in on the coup? The coup would've been stopped by killing of the leaders anyways, it's not like they would've revolted after losing all their strongest members.
That is a total stretch. But whatever, I'll accept it.
If Kishimoto hadn't mentioned Tobirama having & then studying the body then this wouldn't even be a plothole. One fucking speech bubble is the result of this.
So ultimately it's stupid. But it's there and it's a plothole
Jobber just means they did casual work, they took what they could get. That's kinda what they were, they weren't dedicated to the village and their members just did whatever. Some were ninjas and some weren't, they didn't have a role within the village other than being a well-known family with the most broken eye hack ever made.
Hey he got help from the coolest uncle.
Another plothole then. If Danzo had enough power to push his scheme to destroy the Uchiha clan trough and to get approvement of all the village elders to make this official and even overrule the Hokage, how the fuck is he not Hokage?
I think the manga should had ended an arc after the pain One.
Kabuto being the final boss, Tobi being the tangent residue of the Ten Tails conciousness or memory that only wants to see the world burn.
And that's it.
I fucking hate it how Kishimoto tried to justify all the bullshit from the asshole characters like Itachi, The Raikage, most of the cloud ninja asshats.
And how the most kickass village "hidden mist village" was pushed to the fucking sidelines.
>Rigs Izanagi to activate after a certain amount of time because apparently the Uchiha love implanting shit in their's and other people's bodies
>Magically reappears alive outside of his coffin thanks to Izanagi
>Leaves behind a shadow clone in case Tobirama comes back for check-ups
>Spends the rest of his life spying and tending to his Hashirama garden
I think he "implanted" it in his own eye. Itachi implanted an Amaterasu in Sasuke's eye to kill Obito before he gained the ability to produce his own. Itachi also sealed a crow in Naruto that would use Kotoamatsukami as soon as he saw Sasuke's sharingan.
This was pretty bullshit really, Kishimoto couldnt even let Itachi be what he was supposed to be.
IMO he was an edgy teenager that was tired of fucking living in the village, seving assholes and having a submissive clan. He got a cocowash from the elders and did what he did.
It was that simple and would have sounded and be more realistic. Because elders doing cocowashes to young folk happens all the time.
I don't know. The manga never explained further with the situation. The anime just made it so Danzo ordered it in secret after Hiruzen still wanted negotiations.
Perhaps all the elders wanted the clan destroyed just like him. Or he used Shisui's eye to brainwash them to agree with him.
That's kinda the reason why Naruto is considered to be such a shitty manga although it was fairly decent till pain arc. The revelations at the end ruin almost any other arc in hindsight. It's almost as bad as pulling the it was all a dream card.
The whole squad couldn't even touch him.
So who's going to be sad when Boruto ends up in the 3 man group with Salad and Mitsuki? I'm going to miss the misadventures of Boruto, Shikadai, Inojin, Metal and Iwabe. Basically Boruto and the boys
I have no idea what the fuck is going on with the manga. I only read the first three or so chapters, but they killed any interest I would've had in it immediately.
>Starts of in media res with the village destroyed and some literal who fighting edgelord Boruto
>Right away they make it clear this show is going to go to shit
>Introduce a "jutsu gun" thereby making any sense of power progression this show might've had utterly moot
>Character designs are disgustingly bad 9/10 times
>Art style in general is really hard to look at, more so than the old early manga pages which at least had some style to them
I think Danzo should've assumed control over the entire Village and everybody should've remained dead(Dunno about Kakashi's death). With the Village weakened, you then have the Hidden Cloud wanting to gain more power. It's been explained throughout the story that the Hidden Cloud has become more powerful than any of the other villages due to it's expanding military by acquiring kekkei genkai. This is the perfect opportunity for the Cloud to acquire the byakugan. A war arc of the Leaf/Sand vs the cloud is what should've taken place instead of the Allied War arc with the Raikage as the final boss. Have him also be mad about Sasuke for capturing the 8 tails or someshit as well
So salty. Disliking someone as kindhearted as Hinata says more about that person than anything else. Botched value system.
Brave, kindly, loyal, characters like that tend to be widely liked whether their male, female, or a robot.
>Introduce a "jutsu gun" thereby making any sense of power progression this show might've had utterly moot
Naruto literally told the Scientist dude that he won't allow the jutsu gun because he believes that people should have to work for their power and that using it is cheating. The fist few chapters are based on the movie and the whole point of the story is that Boruto is a cheater and learns that cheating is wrong the hard way. I wouldn't be surprised if the "jutsu gun" gets banned by Naruto
All that doesn't matter because this is something they bothered to include in the first goddamn chapter of the manga. Best case scenario they get rid of it, but then they wasted their own fucking time introducing it in the first place and know "why don't we use a jutsu gun" is forever going to be an option that wouldn't logically make sense not to use in a life or death situation. It's like that time-travel ability in Harry Potter 3, it's overpowered as fuck and it makes no sense to never use it again no matter how you try to justify it. Just don't introduce these kind of things in the first place or at least put heavy conditions on it.
WE DON'T KNOW!
All we know is that it wasn't a natural death and he died fairly young though still old enough to be a grandfather (don't try to work out the timeline on that since you'll go insane).
I'm betting it was either special poison or Jinton, though if Muu disintegrated Hashirama it should have been mentioned.
Kishi never intended for him to be that strong, so he never didn't think much of it, later when he turned him into the strongest ninja ever, he couldn't come up with something so he ignored it.
Kishimoto did make ninja who were plausibly strong enough to kill Tobirama but failed to explain why Tobirama couldn't have just teleported everyone right back to Konoha.
I do agree about it being introduced right off the bat, but the "jutsu gun" still requires actual jutsu's to be able to be used since it's just mini scrolls with the techniques sealed within. So in order to get a Rasengan from the gun scroll you still need someone who knows Rasengan to put it in the scroll. People are still gonna have to learn the techniques to put it in the scroll in the first place
It was obvious he died young. Edo Tensei brings people back as the age they died. Hiruzen died old and looked like it when brought back. So Hashiraa didn't kick the bucket from old age.
It's mainly timing, a new interesting world, good character and art designs, the fighting style was really fun in part 1, Naruto and Sasuke clearly had goals, simple but something you'd like to see achieved, characters weren't 1 dimensional, you could easily see how there was lots of interesting back story behind the characters.
here for the cute girls and rock lee's spinoff, the comedy parts of this series work pretty well as all the characters are very fun
and honestly most of the plot holes are created very far apart from each other and I think most people just accept that kishi didn't plan to have the manga for 15 years and are fairly small
there's more glaring issues with it anyways in how it drags its feet around and uchihas and danzo's retardation
this would have certianly would had been more interesting, but kishimoto just wanted everyone to be friends and that's why he kept searching for a surrogate villian to which he could put all the blame into.
>So salty. Disliking someone as kindhearted as Hinata says
Hinata it's a selfish cunt, she got neji killed and only acts in self interest. Also has no personality.
I can tell you are a hinatafagg that got easel triggered, your kind are such predictable cucks.
Christ. If I didn't need feel like discussing Naruto this wouldn't be worth a reply.
Ironically, that "Hinata btfo" gif you spam like an autist makes her look anything but selfish. Part of her (self-sacrificing) personality.
Most manga have all sorts of plotholes; Naruto just gets nitpicked more. Kishimoto often tried to explain the inconsistencies, though he sometimes made it even worse like with the whole "Madara used a kage bunshin of his dead body to fool Tobirama" thing. It would have been better if Hashirama simply buried Madara's body himself and never told his brother about it.
She was a fucking coward till the end.
She did it because she was expecting to die rather than to recieve an answer from naruto and face the possibility of rejection.
She did it again but Neji recieve the bullet for her and she didnt even gave a damn about Neji's death.
Hinata a shit human.
>She did it because she was expecting to die rather than to recieve an answer from naruto and face the possibility of rejection
She did it because she loved Naruto. She said as much, verbatim, because Kishimoto was writing for literal ten year olds but apparently that still wasn't enough for the most delusional of adults.
>she didnt even gave a damn about Neji's death
>she loved Naruto
If she loved him then where the fuck was her when he needed help the most?
>delusional of adults
She literally has only like 30 fucking pannels in the entire manga anon, the only delusional faggs are the hinatafags who wonder why people dont like their precious princess.
Why dont you post the one that happens seconds later and she is all "Ohhh his stronk hand is hot"
>when he needed help the most?
Literally when he was pinned down, waiting to be slaughtered by Pain, while everyone else watched on the sidelines.
>Why dont you post the one that happens seconds later and she is all "Ohhh his stronk hand is hot"
...After she cried her eyes out and before she named her son after him and continued to visit his grave 12 years later.
>She literally has only like 30 fucking pannels
And yet all you need to do to grasp her motive is to read out a single sentence. How dense can you be to not be capable of that much?
The technique damaged Naruto as he was still touching the rasenshuriken when he used it. Now he only uses rasenshuriken in sage mode where he coats the rasenshuriken in sage chakra and throws it therefore avoiding damage to his body.
>dying from some nobodies genjutsu
>after defeating the strongest member of a clan known for it's genjutsu and whose visual prowess was so great that he could genjutsu a tailed beast.
Yeah somehow I don't think that's what happened.
Kishi definitely fucked up by making Hashirama so strong and then effectively killing the only character that could challenge him.
He should've made it so they both died in the duel and Madara later ressed with Izanagi
>Not all hinata haters like sakura you know
I know, but this particular autist is indeed a Sakurafag. And anybody who has been to any of these post-ending threads knows it as well
>both are equally shit
Not true, Sakura is the second or third worst character in the manga next to Karin and and post-Tobi Obito. Hinata by comparison is merely boring instead of actively awful.
>Sasuke's progress was actually really on point though.
Absolutely not. After he defeats Orochimaru each and every power-up Sasuke recieves is either handed to him in the form of eye magic bullshit, or the result of literal deux ex machina. I agree about Nardo though.
This. Naruto has to work to get better whereas Sasuke is like
Oh my Sharingan activated? Looks like I'm stronger now
Oh, I got another tomoe on my Sharingan during a fight? I'm immediately on another level.
Oh I can suddenly use Susanoo? That could come in handy.
"Oh my god, his chakra has completely changed, he's now 10000x more stronger and eviler" - Karin
>Sasuke is far worse than all of those characters.
There are moments in the manga where I had to wonder what the fuck was Kishi thinking when it comes to handling Sasuke, but he does have something that objectively sets him apart from any of the characters I mentioned. Namely, the fact that most of his fights are actually entertaining, and also like it or not he was indispensable for the plot unlike the love interests.
>Sasuke skills during the reunion made sense
Up to that point I agree, afterwards he was the worst example of power progression in any jump manga I can think of, baring the last Kakashi powerup of course.
>the fact that most of his fights are actually entertaining
That's debateable at best.
>he was indispensable for the plot unlike the love interests.
That doesn't make him better. If anything, it makes him worse.
Sasuke isn't just a horrible character by himself, he is toxic to the characters around him. That makes him the worst character in the series by far.
did you even read/watch the damn series?
sasuke spent his fair share of time training all these shuriken, taijutsu and nintjutsu techniquest
you must've missed how there was like 20 episodes of him just standing on a catwalk spamming fireballs into the air
He intentionally tries to sever all connection around him so he could be the avenger; first against his brother, then against konoha, and then finally against the whole shinobi world, by killing Naruto and all 5 kage (although for the last part, he simply wanted the world to finally attain peace and unite under one banner, with him as the source of all hatred that when he finally dies, the cycle of hatred dies with him as well)
His intention is about as noble as naruto, although he took the most efficient way to unite people and attain peace
It's also kinds implied that, should Naruto's resolve is greater than him, sasuke would rather be the one to die so that the age old rivalry (stretches back from Indra and Ashura) would finally ends
>That's debateable at best.
It's really not. His fight with the Kages and KB were the only redeeming features of the Kage arc. By comparison, Naruto vs Pain is the only exciting fight Naruto had in part 2 (if you discount Naruto vs Sasuke 2 of course).
>He intentionally tries to sever all connection around him so he could be the avenger; first against his brother, then against konoha, and then finally against the whole shinobi world, by killing Naruto and all 5 kage (although for the last part, he simply wanted the world to finally attain peace and unite under one banner, with him as the source of all hatred that when he finally dies, the cycle of hatred dies with him as well)
No he didn't. He wanted to rule from the shadows staying alive indefinitely like kaguya.
Either way the irony is obito/Madara/Kabuto already accomplished the whole unite the entire world against us thing long before sasuke did anything
If Sasuke truly gave a damn about peace then he would have stayed home or at least visited Salad in order to have her a stable upbringing as to reduce her chances of succumbing to the Curse of Hatred
literally the best cute girl anime this shitty season
thank god for this show and alice to zouroku because hinako note is really a disappointment
Kishimoto is a fucking hack.
She is obviously central to the plot since she's in the center of the frame when intorduced in the first episode.
Holy shit, Final Boss Raikage could have been dope. Especially if no one ended up super godlike like they did in the end.
>Tfw you will never see the Ay break Sasuke's back with another LIGGAAAAH BOMB
Oh the things that could have been.
Immature teenager relationship drama is always the worst thing for an Uchiha, especially the daughter of a god like Salad is. Look what happened to Obito, a nobody in the Uchiha clan
I think the hand falling off is just a misinterpretation of the panel...
also in general a lot of it just comes from zetsu's never being well explained and obito being a brainwashed asshole pure evil 80s jrpg badguy
I think the best way to do it would be with ghost-nart or bort walking around in it's a wonderful life style
honestly though, I feel that's a bit too big of an undertaking to come up with for filler and it'd be disappointing unless they put a lot of time in to something that wouldn't go anywhere and probably wouldn't have that much room for complexity since it's really just another drop in the sasuke retardation
I mean I feel like that could happen, but mitsuki sucks the bort dick way too hard for him to disappear if they did and sarada feels like the kind of character that could stay interesting and fun on her own no matter where they put her
and we honestly haven't gotten to see how konohamaru interacts with them yet
The Japanese will probably eat it up though. They love Sasuke and Dune, so if there was a minseries essentially combining the two it would probably sell like hot cakes, so the production values would likely be high.
Also, they could do a flash forward and show Sasuke's reaction to the whole mess once he has calmed down and how he deals with the problem of an heir/his morality
So the whole world hates him with a passion
>kill them kages
So people that take up their place would have less institutional inertia to deal with
>kill/seal the tailed beasts
So others would never abuse their power
I can forgive plotholes. That was hardly the issue with Naruto.
How about the fact that part 1 ended on such a high note and part 2 was so fucking boring as fuck with nothing interesting happening? Akatsuki essentially took a big chunk of the story even though they were the most boring try hard villains you could find.
Anyone reading Naruto just wanted to see the whole cast grow in meaningful ways, but instead Nardo still chasing after Sasuke for god knows how many chapters.
