>>157507571
Someone wanna dump the chapter? We usually get a lot more on topic discussion and general discussion in these threads when someone dumps the chapter.
>>157508010
Fuck off Norman.
>>157508072
Nobody else is picking Promised Neverland up, so they don't need to hurry.
>>157508031
I found it endearing. This is a pretty smart move of Mr. Minerva. If he wants people to learn about the outside world but can't let the demons find out about it, then just disguise it as a fantasy novel. Yeah, they've never showed it before until now, but it's not like something like that would ever get brought up in a normal conversation.
>>157508249
I loved how fansscans picked up Neverland for a while and uploaded chapters at saturday, opposes to mangastreams sunday nights, and as a result they begun uploading Neverland on fridays for the next few chapters. Now that fanscans hasn't been translating Neverland for a while, niggerstream have put it back in the sunday night releases.
>>157508193
For you, anon-kun.
I like how Emma's assuming there's a stable society waiting for them. I hope she doesn't get disappointed later.
>>157507571
So are they fucked? How can they have much hope if the entire world has been restructured by the demons?
I imagine there will be some underground resistance faction of humans like Zion in the Matrix.

It was shown. It was once of the morse code books.
>>157508845
Emma literally says its likely the books were meant to help guide them since they were from Minerva but the morse codes didn't make sense. This strange Minerva guy is helping them out with a pen navigation device and secret messages, its not that much of a shot in the dark to assume those two books would be important. Also its likely they couldn't even pack too much food supplies without Mama getting suspicious of the food inventory decreasing.

Emma a cute.
I think this is the deadest thread we've had in a good while.
>>157516151
Indeed.
I don't think there's much to talk about since very little actually happened in this chapter. I look forward to see how the gang gets out of this mess, though. I don't think there'll be as much keikakuing from now on, at least until they have to outsmart demons.
>>157516315
It's probably going to be a short arc just about surviving in the wild before we go back to any keikakuing. I assume we'll get "back on track" once they find Minerva.
I just caught up with TPN
What did Ray wrote in the letter to Sister Krone? How dead is Norman? Is everyone Mama's son or just Ray?Emma and Ray cut their ears to bait Mama into thinking they were inside the bathroom and inside the fire, but the other kids got rid of their transmitters with the little box Ray made right? how come Mama didn't notice that night if she was doing an all-nighter?
>>157508836
Clever. I never even thought of that.
>>157516872
Norman's probably not dead and only Ray is Mama's biological son. They cut off Ray's ear to pretend he was in the fire and Emma's was simply to buy time while the kids got out as Mama was distracted. They likely used the devide during that time.
>>157517039

>>157516872
>What did Ray wrote in the letter to Sister Krone?
Spoilers for the next arc. Some think it may be that he talked about how he's Isabella's son, but I don't see how that could give much leverage.
>How dead is Norman?
He's being milked for high quality sperm. So just dead inside.

>Captcha: STOP Galaxy
Heh...
>>157517638
How the fuck are they going to survive if they can't even stop to take a piss without something wanting to eat them is what I'm looking forward to finding out.
>>157517749
What do you think are the chances someone doesn't survive?
I mean, we haven't had a real death since sister Krone; _ ;since both Ray and Norman's deaths turned out to be bogus at best. Conny's death is what kicked the escape arc into motion, and I think actually having one of the kids die could serve as an important moment for Emma as a character.
>>157517875
I'm a bit split on whether we'll actually lose someone or not. Mostly because of what you said, Krone has been the only real death so far (we barely got to know Connie afterall) and she wasn't exactly a "good guy". I'd like for at least a fodder kid to die to give us a sense that there's actually a threat going on. But at the same time, I'm not sure they'd do that and shit on Emma's goal so early on unless her character is meant to pull a Gon or something. And if she managed to hold it somewhat together after Norman was "shipped" (I'm using the term loosely, I know she was miserable), I'm not sure a fodder could even break her to that point.
And after Shirai said the ultimate focus would still be WSJ's message of love and friendship, I don't really know.
>>157518101
>And after Shirai said the ultimate focus would still be WSJ's message of love and friendship, I don't really know.
Well, love and friendship doesn't mean everything is going to be sunshine and rainbows all the time.
Emma's will is probably going to be tested time and time again until they topple the demon empire, or whatever the ultimate goal ends up being. She already had to make a compromise with her original goal of escaping with all the kids, so I don't think it'd be entirely outside of the realm of possibility to drag her through some dark times. If only so she can shine all the more brighter.
>>157518101
I think the biggest reason Emma didn't snap when she thought he died was because of the encouraging words he gave her before leaving. He told her never to give up and that's what she did.
I think her way of coping was to make sure she would succeed both for her and his sake since he was sacrificing himself - or so she thinks - for her ideals.
It comes up when she has a chance to escape as a Mama, for one, and she refuses while remembering what he said. She also says a lot of things like "let's begin, Norman" or "we did it Norman" despite him not being there.
I think this is why she managed to deal with it her own way. Meaning maybe she could still snap if something went wrong with someone despite being "less important" than Norman. But I do think it's not likely right now.
Hope this shitty wall of text made some sense.
>>157518550
Oh, yeah, I definitely agree some shit is going to happen. I just meant that at this moment I'm not sure it'd go down. Since the kids are barely developed and all, wouldn't be impactful enough to warrant such a goal breaking moment for her, I think. Unless we lose Don or Gilda.
>>157518768
>Unless we lose [...] Gilda.
pls no

THANK FUCKIGN GOD THEYRE ALIVE
Okay, which one of these you deem more likely?
>1. The kids are on an alien planet, the same one the demons live, or in case they're actually advanced, a colony planet terraformed to sustain humans. The ecosystem is native to this world.
>2. The kids are on earth. The demons are not alien, and the thing that made them appear (be nuclear winter, transforming virus or the rage of god) have also changed the ecosystem.
> 3. The kids are on earth. The demons are alien-like in nature, and the ecosystem have changed in their presence. If the change it's intentional, is probably to adapt the enviroment to them so they can live there in the future.
>>157525010
3. Earth. But probably an all out war of demons and humans. Probably the reason why the nature looks fucked.
>>157508845
The books had the Minverva Morse code on them so she probably thought it had more practicable advice like coordinates.
>>157509188
This was done pretty cheesily. It would have been better if Emma just took charge, and had them perform a strange series of actions to escape, and then hand wave it away as William Minerva afterwards. This way feels way to contrived.
How did Minerva adventure outside but wrote books inside the farm again?
>>157508836
One interesting thing to remember is that William Minerva's books were all published before 2014. Meaning he knew about the world the kids currently live in before the supposed collapse of human civilization.
It might not be another "planet", but it could be another "dimension", just like Neverland in Peter Pan.
>>157525010
>4. The kids are in another universe similar to Earth in some ways but quite different. The demons are the natives of this universe that are the equivalent of the Pirates from Peter Pan.

Ray, he was willing to kill himself just a few hours ago anyway.
>>157509208
And we haven't really seen the full extent of their technological capacities. We do know that they're more advanced than humans are in the modern day, since they had those ear trackers.
>>157509899
>>157510007
There are already at least two fujo TPN doujinshi out there.
>>157525807
Who says that William Minerva wrote the book or that he was the one who went on adventures?
And who says he lives on the farm? Krone said that he had never seen him before and that the way he adressed the Demons implied that they were on equal grounds.
>>157511880

>>157526885
Sherry, please
>>157510254
That's what I believe and instead of someone like Minerva giving us a lore dump of everything about the demons, Emma will read the book and piece together parts of the story to learn about what happened.
>>157509188
Emma's magic disappearing, reappearing ear. kek
>>157528942
It's foreshadowing Emmas regeneration abilities when Minerva eventually turns her into a half-demon
>>157526458
Who else would?
Demons sure as hell wont write a book, and I dont see Mama doing it.
How else would the book get there too?
Its info from outside that somehow got inside.
That is what I mean.
In order to know what is going on outside you have to see it with your own eyes.
And yet, this information somehow ended up inside the farm.
I am asking how it got there.
>>157529720
It's been stated that most of the objects and products that get into the farms are produced outside iirc. And a dozen of books between hundred others will most likely go unnoticed.
William Minerva only had to slip them when supplying to the farm and then hope that the kids were intelligent and lucky enough to put all the pieces together. Also, consider that WM may be the name of an organization rather than just a person.
Anyone else noticed how the spoiler translations were especially shit this chapter?
>>157530490
I didn't read those, what was bad about them?
How is Emma so perfect?
Something was obviously up, My assumption was that the air was going to be poisonous or something equally menacing in the forest.
I guess in a word of demons you can't ask for too much realism but Giant Enemy Tree just seems a tad incommodious, What would it do if they just walked in the opposite direction to it? Surely it doesn't need you to be 5 feet in front of it in order to kill and feed on you.
Though I guess everyone dying in their sleep wouldn't make for a very interesting story.
>>157530371
>And a dozen of books between hundred others will most likely go unnoticed.
Especially since even if the Moms or Sisters running the farm ever read the book, they know nothing about the outside world either, so they wouldn't understand any of the references to the world beyond the wall.
>Emma was dragged onto her belly and a large chasm suddenly appears at her feet.
No?
>She falls inside and finds herself in a cave with all of the missing children.
>The cave has no vegetation or insect life at all.
No?
>Emma found quickly found that it would be impossible to climb up the steep walls of the stone, so instead she starts looking around the back end of the cave for an exit. She finds small flowers that grow only in the few spots of sunlight that reach the cave from the surface. Emma is so engrossed with a flower at the base of a large tree trunk that she takes a moment to see the dried up animal carcasses hanging from the tree.
But Emma isn't even the focus here.
>She judges their situation and believes that the underground cave was a feeding ground used by an unknown plant that preyed on animals.
But that was Ray.
>The roots of the tree attack the children. Emma takes one of Minerva's books out of a bag. She reads a page of the Encyclopedia that says that the smoke from a fire could help Ray (?) find them, but that smoke would attract their demonic pursuers.
Literally what the fuck
>In the Encyclopedia there also seems to be a description about the plant life form that is attacking them. This book was one of the covers that Emma didn't know the Morse Code written on it, William Minerva's Survival and Adventure Story.
>>157530757
oops meant for >>157530652
>>157508991
Those animals don't look like anything found on Earth. Or maybe that's what horses look like when all their skin is torn off.
>>157530371
Yeah, true.
But I would not put it past Isabella to check such things. And I mean Isabella as in I see it being in character for her to be careful enough to examine things like that.
>>157509188
I actually really like this development, because it introduces new material for speculation using something we already knew (Minerva's codes were on his books)
>>157531008
They are also dried up.
I don't think those used to be horses though.
Its true their tail aint just some mass of hair, but the tail of those beasts are too long.
Which brings me to, that tail on the right looks really long.
>>157531097
Like I said >>157530754
Even if Isabella read the book, the Demons kept her in the dark about the outside world (if Krone is to be believed at least). She'd hink that it's just an adventure book with killer trees, she'd have no way of knowing that these things are real.
>>157524730
Its hard to remember details when you're in panic mode vs. comfortably sitting a table in a quiet room.
>>157531210
I concede. Thank you.
>>157527109
Seriously. I was starting to think I'd somehow missed the thread and then I doubted if I'd actually read the spoilers or if I'd just imagined them. The late release coupled with a mostly uneventful chapter killed a lot of the hype so hopefully everything is back as it should be this week.
>>157526339
Fujos need to be exterminated. Disgusting.
>>157508991
For some reason, they remind me of pic related.
Probably wrong though since they are in a forest.
>>157530668
Does a venus flytrap care if you walk away from it? Plants are patient.
If you're asking why it didn't kill them instantly when they fell through the ground, maybe animals are rare enough that it wants to feed when it needs to. Like spiders that wrap up their potential food.
Is this forest the work of the demons?
If so, then they are really screwing themselves over right now by endangering their high quality products.
>>157531668
To be fair, the demons clearly never expected any kid to make it into the forest.
>>157531704
Sounds stupid. Genius kids but they made preparations if someone does get out.
This forest seems awfully convinient for the demons.
I understand them not expecting it but it still is a great security measure nonetheless.
>>157525883
>One interesting thing to remember is that William Minerva's books were all published before 2014
Publishing dates can easily be faked.
>It might not be another "planet", but it could be another "dimension", just like Neverland in Peter Pan.
This still remains a very real possibility, though.

Live, thread.
Anyway, in Minerva's book there is a picture with a dragon (first frame in pic). So, if these books really describe flora and fauna of their world, can we assume that kids soon are going to see dragons?
>>157536864
That's a different book though, Emma is holding the adventure book. The book Norman is looking at in that picture is the one about mythology. But it wouldn't surprise me if that book turns out to actually talk about real things too.

At first I thought perhaps they were deer or something, but this is probably it.
Do we know what continent they're on?
>>157539837
Assuming they're even on Earth, they're in the Northern Hemisphere and most likely in Europe.
>>157540030
They're definitely on Earth.
>>157508766
See^
Old growth forests of that size, though, require a certain kind of climate that Europe can't offer. My guess is somewhere tropical?
>>157540672
>They're definitely on Earth.
I wouldn't be so sure, the forest they're in kind of brings things into question. They could be an Isekai.
>>157540743
The forest they're in could be the Californian Redwoods.
>>157541009
Ray says he doesn't recognize any of the vegetation or animals from the books. Whatever it is, it's not something found in the Earth of 2015.
More importantly, it snows in winter where they live, the California Redwoods couldn't suvive in that type of climate.

He is going to be drowning in girls
How long until Emma gets brutally raped by multiple monsters?

Yeah, instead:
> Hey, guys, remember that book I found because of a plot convenience? It will serve as plot convenience now to help defeat the enemy.
I'm getting tired of this shit. Whenever something bad happens, instead of seeing the characters thinking and struggling to solve the problem, they just come up with the resolution.
