That wasn't my argument though. I always thought that Diana's gonna end up helping Akko punting up the shows, but not go on stage herself. She's a great witch, but she doesn't have the personality of a performer in my opinion. Akko can draw a crowd by force of personality alone, like she showed in episode 9 (the only decent moment in that episode).

The other reason is, when Akko talks about her dream, she says "I want to be a witch that can make people happy like Chariot." But if you think about it, Akko is already doing that. She already befriended and helped a lot of people to be happier (Diana included). She also helped two ghosts and some fishes. And she's helping even Chariot herself to be happy again.

That's why I think becoming the next Shiny Chario suits her better than anyone. And I think even Diana will see that soon enough, and that's why I think she's gonna support her from the side lines instead of aiming for the stage like her.
