I said it in another thread, I think it balances coolness and goofyness pretty well. His overall design reminds you of an Oni, or a war god as >>157498419 pointed out, while also being kinda silly with the bouncing thing to remind you it comes from his rubber powers.

The only thing I don't like it's his tiny legs. His calfs at least should be more balloney or something, it really looks unbalanced like that, specially if he has to constantly bounce on those little spaghetti legs.
