Better a slightly different face that you might never use than effect parts or accessories that should have been included because they skimped on accessories to begin with. It's easier to pass on the GSC bonus (and therefore paying full price plus tax) and order elsewhere if it's something as silly as a face with the eyes pointed in a different direction.

Their prices shooting up are a large part of why I haven't bought a figma in almost a year. The only one I'm waiting for is Syaoran, and I fully expect to be disappointed by both the price and the included accessories.

It's a really fucking hard decision, because the Alter one also seems to be more detailed in the shirt, but it's also more washed out with the colors, but it has better hair, but a worse pose, but it's taller, but also way cheaper. they both have major positives and setbacks.

I think I'm gonna go with the MF one though, because I like the pose more. And I know if I get the Alter one I'm gonna want to get the MF one sometime later, and if I get the MF one I think I'll be good. It's really the price that makes it a hard decision, because if the Alter was as expensive as the MF one, I'd easily go for the MF.

Why are there so many girls into this hobby? I know fujos are a thing, but it surprises me when most of the MFC profiles I check are from women, specially when their collections aren't 90% figures of male characters.

Not the anon you're responding to, but I hate how Stronger did their Madokami's hair. There was no reason to make large chunks of it translucent. Also there doesn't seem to be a lot of stars on the inside of her dress compared to the original illustration.

its a standard process. cut out with a little border around it, soak for 20 seconds, pull it out and slide the decal into place. nudge it around carefully, dont blot it or anything because it'll move. use the torn edge of a paper towel to soak up droplets next to the decal and then leave it alone for 5 minutes. you can move them around freely for 30 seconds or so, use a tiny tool so you can make fine adjustments.

some people say to blot the extra water off first, but i prefer not to.

for the pantsu, good luck. you'll probably have to use your fingers. on one of mine i had to use some tamiya cement after it dried because the edges wouldnt lay down everywhere. if theres tiny wrinkles in the buttcrack, dont sweat it. you can only get them so flat.

i use nippers, sanding film (800 and 1000 unless i'm re-shaping something), little foam sanding sticks and needles, an xacto with a square blade, and acrylic paint/water. for shading cheeks, hair, etc, i put sharpie on a micro brush and then dab it on. i also use the ultra fine tip sharpies for panel lining, just wipe or sand off what doesnt go into the groove.

sanding parts without changing the edges and destroying the raised features is the hardest and most time consuming part of building, but the other option is painting everything or using a matte spray. they look like shit if they're left glossy like out of the box

Bad luck for you; they reopened orders for them just two weeks ago, but it looks like they sold out again. It says they ship in June, so keep an eye out then and see if any pop up for resale. It's also worth checking Bandai Premium's site there from time to time in case there's another rerelease.
