The problem is that by saying "kids are cunts" we assume that they are cunts just because. It's as if we accept that bullying happens just because. And that's not true. There are always hidden reasons.

Not really, she just justifies her actions based on what others do - or don't (as in Nishimiya's case, Ueno blamed her for getting bullied).

Both Ueno and Kawai are horrible people. Sure, they have a good side to them, but when you reach the level of selfishness and cruelty they displayed, I don't think that's plain immaturity or herd behaviour, but a degree of sociopathy.
