So, everyone already drop it?
I'm just in it for the free stuff. The first 3x chapters of the story are the shittest anyway.
I need myself a webm for this, nigger.
I don't remember Katalina being this busty.
>[HorribleSubs] Granblue Fantasy The Animation - 08 [720p]
I've been on board since the first two eps dropped ahead of time. Looked cool and didn't look trashy so there's no reason not to pick it up. Been pretty fun so far, Yukarin was a treat.
Indiana Jones references?
In my animes?
This is why you don't let the walking buff lead the way
I like this episode where they actually have other characters from the game that is not the main cast. Unfortunately this episode seems unfinished with some static images in it.
I'm still looking forward for episodes like this. At least it takes a breather from go to Island A meet potential ally, get ally and map and repeat the same shit on Island B and C.
Soiya trio dream actually came true.
The doujin will be glorious.
This episode was by far better than any of the others so far. If all of the show were like this it'd actually be really good.
despite being a whale hunt cashgrab based anime it still feels pretty comfy, like your oldschool RPG games where you gather a party and go on random adventures in order to meet a certain goal
>Kat is a dame.
Why is he always being drawn in suggestive situations with some silver-haired shota? Does Japan not care for Team Mom & Dad between him and Katalina?
You mean like this one?
Holy shit, they actually started showing good characters.
If only whole anime was like this episode.
>Is this really in the same unierse as the Rage of Bahamut anime and the Shadowverse game?
Sort of. They're all made by the same dev so the characters from all three series are mixed into all 3 games. There's no canon explanation yet as to how their worlds are connected, but they clearly are in some way. Otherwise the stories stick to themselves.
>Is it... good or are you guys just the last ones to be about to drop it?
Since it just follows the generic early parts of the main story, not really, but the latest episode was really good filler with gacha characters, so if we get more like that, it could get a lot better.
You've received 80 berries, 4 rainbow crystals, a colossus cane, a tiamat gun, 300k of rupees along with some other shit I've forgotten and you just wrote it off as "probably raid drops"? Damn.
Nope, I'm really enjoying it even if I haven't began playing the game yet.
I really want to for all the story tidbits.
Really I was asking myself "What is this episode?" but I enjoy just seeing the world expand as much as I'm used to important-plot-point-after-plot-point shows.
Heck, just spending sometime on /gbfg/ and watching some videos on youtube of character fate episodes makes the whole experience better, although, maybe it'd be better to be anime-only or just go all-in (game, anime, threads, etc) as it's getting harder to avoid playing. I also don't mind spoilers, so if the company is rich enough to animate season after season I'm looking forward to all the characters I've read about on the wiki.
Don't play the game unless you're a NEET. It's not called Grindblue for nothing. I went into the game assuming I'd be able to take it easy and only spend a set amount of time a day and it was indeed the case for around the first 50 days, but it quickly piles up additional stuff to grind for as you get stronger. The events that last only a week before disappearing and require serious dedication to get key rewards are by far the worst, you just can't take them easy.
The game is 300% more fun to play with a group of "friends" that help each other out and do hard raids together, but it also adds extra pressure on you to take the grind seriously so you're not a dead weight for others.
So what new characters outside of the main cast has shown up? I see some pink haired Draph and Mary. No Stan and Aliza yet as they're still in Valtz?
Would be cool to see Sig in Auguste.
Also, we need to add in Ferry to the crew. She's too cute and popular.
Think the anime will cover any of the events as well? Like Let's hang or the Knights?
Knights are only popular among fujos. And their events were like #7 on the poll for best events.
Let's Hang and Lily's events were the most popular so it's safe to assume they will appear in some way.
I appreciate the insight and what you've said really does match up with what I've observed in thread after thread. Might still give it a shot just as a taste and then continue with character fate episodes on youtube, though, I'm pretty sure not all the story is contained in those.
I'm basically a neet in terms of going out to do anything that isn't a job, but I pay attention to a lot of series and want to start buying official stuff. In any case, I appreciate the warning.
Don't be put off. It's a grindy game but it can be casual if you want it to be. I've been playing for nearly a year now and I'm not even level 100. I've got a full grid fully skilled up and such and I'm ready for my 4*, t4 jobs and to branch out to other elements but I'm still taking it easy at the end of the day.
Just be sure to look up what you need to grind ahead of time (Like the t4 items, the guild war weapon grind etc.) and be sure to take an extra hour or two out of your day during some of the 1/2 AP events that frequently occur, they give you a lot of value for your resources. Otherwise keep the game to the side and just leech a raid or two every hour or so if you have the time, preferably with a team with 2 SR characters and 1 R character so you get leech bonus pendants to cap the week too.
Before high level stuff? Everyone does it. It's how you get a weapon grid in the first place. You gotta start somewhere after all. By the time you're 101 you should have at least one full grid and be capable of not being a waste of space.
Finally a show that panders to my fetish
This show is as terrible as Bahamut is good.
I guess creative freedom really goes a long way, and showcases how video game stories rarely work outside video games where the gameplay is propping them up.
>make an episode that doesn't cover the terrible main story
Really makes me think.
My advice to you is to just look at what you want to play and plan accordingly. Start during a legfest, this increases your chance of pulling an SSR with your freebie starting rolls by 100% (to 6%) and also has a pool with a greater number of characters. This pool of characters will also affect your start dash ticket (you can pay 3000 yen to buy any character in the pool at the date of your account creation). The start dash is unique in that regard so if you're planning on splashing out some cash it's worth seeing what there's available.
If you don't get a decent character and/or summon with your rolls then just reroll as you see fit. This will let you start off significantly stronger and means you don't need to blow cash later on down the line if you want to keep things free. There's tier lists floating around online to give you an idea of what to aim for. Most go for the big summons (Lucifer/Bahamut/Shiva) that you can't ticket or they aim for legfest only characters like Lucio or Summer Zooey
S.Zooey is super broken for elements that use her.
Oh, also light and dark are the strongest but also have the shittiest drop rate in the game so if you aim for either of those elements don't expect to get strong very quickly. Alternatively wind is the F2P dream and is extremely easy to complete a grid.
Beware flying cows
was it rape? I thought she liked gran
I love it, though, I suppose it's some quirky-even exclusive thing. I don't recall her having living hair in previous episodes.
Ha, this post perfectly condenses what I've read in so many threads. Your reactions to these things, especially once the poster scanning, subsequent bans and then Golden Week glory came around, it was great.
Main problem is that the main story doesn't really pick up to around Amathea, maybe the island before that if you're a Durrayfag. It's still generic fantasy but at least there's a goal beyond the collectathon with the Sky Pieces, and a few interesting new characters.
Otherwise the fun bits are either event stories or fate episodes/cross-fates.
So, will more gacha characters show up from now on? I don't mind fillers if I can see my wife animated.
> Your reactions to these things, especially once the poster scanning, subsequent bans and then Golden Week glory came around, it was great.
I'm not in any GBF community on 4chan or anywhere else but I'll take your word for it. Only retards did the poster shit and they deserved to get banned for being utterly stupid. You raise a good point though, you missed the best time to start the game as you lost out on quite a few free 10 rolls during golden week.
I got nothing, as usual.
It all returns to dirt
There'll be another reason for free 10 draws some time sooner or later. Best to wait a couple of months, maybe it'll be a Summer Break celebration or some shit.
But they're Fire characters.
It was great
like a better version of people spazzing out over personal shops in /lolg/.
Anyway, I'm really more in it for the world and setting than anything else, but I was pretty tempted to start then. I'd rather hold off till I can commit since it'll be more fun being consistent.
> light and dark are the strongest
This was true 1 year ago, but with the current meta shift to on element fuckery, only dark could still go around and stealing mvp from off elemental raids, mainly because of S Zoey and enmity bullshit.
They are still kings but you raise a good point about elemental resistances. However those are only for a few specific things in the game so far so it's not all that bad. It's certainly something to consider for the future though.
That's a new thing they added recently where you get a guaranteed SSR out of a pool of 6 mediocre characters. You also get a few tickets though, which is what you use to get a potential character or summon. I'm not sure if this process has changed since the tutorial addition/change however, I'm pretty sure you can still get your hands on an easy few tickets.
anyone webm this scene
I'm still watching it. However, I will admit that this show would probably be a lot more popular if Djeeta was the main character.
>tfw no vanilla doujins with the right proportions.
So are they fucking or what?
He's too busy going balls deep in Noa's boypussy.
They teasted it early on in the story, but quickly dropped that tread and never went back to it, instead trying to pander to pedos by making Io MCsexual in a soft tsundere way and failing miserably.
Looks like someone didn't manage to deliver his cuts.
>ever not a best
She's best grill in the other Cygames adaptation airing this season too. Pic related.
Ah, wait, Cinderella Girls is Cygames too, right? Does she voice any of the myriad of idols?
In the main story? There's none except pic related.
We KnB now.
Try as you might, you people will never stop being pathetic, now off you go back to sadpanda, that's the only thing that can keep your attention for more than a minute after all
That doujin was overrated shit though. Best Cog doujin was pic related.
Its really tragic how a show with such high production values can be so ridiculously bland in content and retarded in story. I just wanted a fantasy that was on par with something as generic as Tears to Tiara.
You repeat yourself like a broken record. Said kusoge has better writing than some of AAA releases in recent years, but sure, write it off just because its a mobage, not like I didnt already know you are retarded
I can understand you liking the girls or whatnot, but if you think this generic shit is any good I feel bad for you.
I can't speak for the anime as I've yet to watch it but the game itself has some good writing, at least for some of the events. The recent "What Makes the Sky Blue" event was good as an example. Or, on a less serious note, something like "Platinum Sky" which was just downright fun. I'm not going to pretend the game is the best plot ever or anything because it's not but there's certainly good pieces of story available.
I'm not sure I follow. Just because a male was involved doesn't mean it's fujoshit. There was a lot of plot centered around Sandalphon and Lucifer, sure, but the entire point of the event was building up Lyria and the seraphs. And the way it left you on a cliffhanger until the final quests were added in a few days later was a brilliant dick move by the devs.
So many Indiana Jones references.
I was pretty surprised they lost their packs somehow in the fall.
Lyria must have ended up with so much sand in her snatch.
What Makes the Sky Blue was great and I liked how it involved so many characters from past events. Platinum sky did something similar. Too bad huge cast events are so far and in between boring ones.
Gotta admit I really liked the latest episode. It was silly kind of fun finally with goofy guest stars.
>and half of granblue playerbase play it on PC,
Why would anyone drop it on the episode where the MC sinks that motherfucking B-Ball?
Shouldn't have bothered with the war story to begin with. SoL would not have gotten as many Japanese viewers, but it would probably have been infinitely better than what we got.
>start playing the game cause of the anime
>it's actually pretty good and it's the only thing I've been doing for the past two weeks
It makes the anime easier to appreciate too.
>Clay Golem (actually sand, but it looks the same)
>Immediately thought Runecraft from Shadowverse because golem spamming
>Learn everything in Shadowverse came from Granblue and Rage of Bahamut
Kind of cool seeing a shitty monster in such a threatening light.
Why would anyone drop this? It's fantastic. Now more than ever that Yukarin's character has joined the cast. You wouldn't to make Yukarin depressed and even more suicidal by dropping her show would you??
This episode is "filler" right? I don't remember this happening at all even in the free quests desu
I love it though
they will never animate Astray Alchemist
>Dark gets another godlike SR that rivals H Bea, 8.5 over all
>Light finally gets a new nonlimited, the sought after light Clarisse after months
>She's fucking terrible, barely even usable on dark fights, unusable anywhere else
The fucking bias is insane
Looking at the anime. he's just darn adorable and reliable.
In the game, he's just a monster that wrecks primal or anything from beyond. He's also fucking rich and is a captain of a ship.
>but x is said to be strong in the game
Nigga, you put them against the MC in an actual fight instead of some flavor text and see the weapon grid does it works.
>Only retards did the poster shit and they deserved to get banned for being utterly stupid.
Wrong, only retards got banned for it. The people who got banned were the ones becoming the flash and the ones scanning posters outside of airing times
It takes multiple location programs to trick the free shit giving app into thinking you live in Japan. Then you have to meticulously mark the date and exact time the show airs in Japan. Then you have to take a picture proving you watched the Anime live in Japan to get some free shit. And you still risk getting banned for using a 3rd party app to trick the phone's location.
The stickers are cute but they have no real context so they're kind of useless. And when there's bans being handed out left and right and there's an SSR character ticket available there's really no incentive to purchase anything else.
You could just use Nox and set your location to Japan and it all works buttery smooth. The only people I see having location troubles are people actually using their android phones.
I apologise, that is indeed what I meant. People were flying around Japan faster than Sonic to scan some posters, getting all 80 done or however many it was in a matter of minutes. The fact they didn't think they'd get punished is amusing.
Still watching it. Sierokarte is a miracle of the universe.
Io is cute, not sexy you degenerate.
Nah I'm not interested as adult women protag. Give me a loli DJ and I'll take it.
>The fact they didn't think they'd get punished is amusing.
Especially when after scanning the poster you get another confirmation screen, as opposed to the anime where you could acidentally take a picture of your leg because the timing on the app is fucking weird and it would be immediatly send, really, you should have alarms go off in your head when stuff like that shows up
Caught up from episode 2
We Eureka seven now
there should be 14 episodes total so you can miss 2, even after the anime ends you could just wait for the next event check in like the poster to get the points you lack but that's really fucking risky
Does this have bellringer angels?
Dork Cog is pretty nice if you don't have Zoi to turn on enmity with, been using Six/Orchis/Cog this whole GW and the crit+dark attack up buffs have been great.
This one was pretty nice too:
You missed your chance of obtaining your own ding dong.
The sky jew strikes again
My wife Siero is a very persuasive speaker.
Old hags get out
I've been drawing and collecting stuff for almost a year now but I haven't even really played it yet because the performance is garbage on phones. How do I even Upgrade my guest account so I can use my profile on PC? I sometimes get a notification but its all in japanese so I don't know what any of it says. I don't want to lose all my stuff.
>Finally get my account
>Can't play GBF on Firefox
well okay then
The LN only talks about the rape in passing mentions or a short paragraph about how the adventurer party gets destroyed. It's the manga that went all out with the rape and deceived a bunch of readers into thinking the source material was erotic. After the first volume and the author is done building up how big and evil goblins really are, there's practically no active rape.
where's the Primal option?
literally the fourth option you broken ass baka
That's not how it works though, you get a bonus when attacking with the counter element, you don't get a minus for attacking with the countered element. And summons only attack so either they get a bonus or do normal damage.
Doesn't seem like the anime works the same way as the game anyways but still they'd still have proto bahamut as the main summon and tiamat as a secondary. So they'd just throw all the shit they had anyways.
You didn't notice the tiny numbers you get instead of the normal size when attacking things you're weak against? You get a -0.25 damage multiplier for being countered. 0 for neutral, as you'd expect. Then 0.5 for attacking things you are strong against.
I don't know why I'm still playing when I don't have zoi
It's kinda hard to have second toughts about killing evil of soldiers of a corrupted empire, Yuri is fucking lucky that he didnt encounter Gran/DJ back when he was still wearing a helmet, power wise there's the reecntly established fact that MC MIGHT have some sort of asspull power
Of course he MIGHT have some asspull power when one of his parents is going to turn out to be Astral
You think that matters? Anything that involves a light boss is designed to counter Zoi now
>What makes the sky blue
>Sandy's white version for the final battle and null-element damage even in his light version
>Alpheus deals null-element aoe damage right after his ougi
>Boss has burn AND heal-disabling debuff
I adore Zoi, probably more than Naru-neesan, but she's not great anymore
>one of his parents is going to turn out to be Astral
It would make so much sense it's not even funny, but I was reffering to how Bahamut and Lucifer called them a singularity that will decide the worlds fate or something along these lines
You aren't going to mvp with just her nuke without a full claw pool so good luck with that
Alright, "GW boss that's light element", better?
He lied, dark Kat is for anime vol1 BD, not watching it(or to be exact, not scanning it with sky compass) made you miss out on SSR ticket, granted there's like 6 episodes left meaning you could still get 3 1-roll tickets
To be fair though, Gran /DJ goes around saving kingdoms and beat off some crazy shit. Considering the things they did, they really fix stuff before shit gets out of hand. So calling Gran/DJ a singularity base on the deeds that he/she did is pretty spot on.
And I always though deciding the fate is how Gran/DJ will handle Vee and Lyria in the future rather than having some bullshit power. It's probably going to be a new bullshit class that breaks the game.
>It's probably going to be a new bullshit class that breaks the game.
At this rate I half expect them to put a new EX job behind the "ultimate" Bahamut they teased during last livestream
>If MC's life is connected to Lyria >And Lyria can summon Bahamut through Vyrn >What if MC were to channel power through Vyrn themselves? >Half-baha half-human class
Oh yeah that explains a whole fucking lot, I still don't have a Cortana and my pool is mostly 4 axes(MLB even), two unknowns(tales katana), Baha sword, two claws with max skill level but sadly at LB0 and Zoi's ribbon
not to bad, im actaully enjoying it, but i just wish they didnt do it about the most boring characters, there are so many characters that are much better
I agree. Harvins and Erunes need some love too
What a cute cow.
Why is Io so shit? She ruined the whole episode.
>best episode so far
I like it, but I began playing the game slims a month ago now, and from I can tell there is a lot of unloved Christmas cakes on board the grandcypher that deserve some good ole fashion missionary breeding
This needs Quad City DJs if it doesn't have it.
These two act like they've known each other forever, yet it's been like two episodes.
If there's one thing that is good about this show, it's the teamwork that goes into all of the fights. The MC doesn't solo everything, with his super special ability, like what typically happens in these kind of shows.
>favorite cow gets to be in the only filler episode
