Maybe. I read it with /a/ while it was ongoing and you know how that is. It was a fun ride. Medaka is an annouing cunt but that's ok. If you're the type to be able to have simple fun then it's worth a shot.

It's a pretty unique, which is not necessarily a good thing, shounen manga. The threads were fun and the characters are definitely the strongest point of the series, but this is still is a battle shounen, so if you don't like the genre, don't bother.

Medaka being insufferable is kind of the point. It's like taking a Mary Sue and doing her into a group of people that don't immediately love everything about her. She's too perfect and it alienates her. She sees nothing wrong with her behavior but others do. This even becomes a plot point in the election arc.
