Have you tried drawing your own manga series?
No because I'm not from Japan. It would just be a regular comic book.
thats really good
never been able to get the shape of the face right
That's pretty good.

Have you tried making them wider?
>>157400896
I did a long time ago.
But then I realized I would never live in Japan and make an actual manga.

Almost every night. Then I wake up.

Yes, but to who would I write it for?
/a/ doesn't reads western shit and I don't care about anyone else's opinion.

why do you care about getting people to read it? you're supposed to shit out badly drawn images to make money, not to please idiots

I already get money for furry commissions.
I just wanted to tell a story, but only people from /a/ would understand it.

Yep. I very quickly realised two things:
1) Everything except actually drawing it is much easier than writing stories, you just think of something and put it on paper instead of having to describe any and all actions, emotions, objects and other boring stuff. If someone smiles, you draw a smile, if someone picked up a brick, you draw a brick in his hand.
2) Actually drawing it is ridiculously time-consuming, even if you keep everything as simple as possible. You eventually build consistency but if you want to get anything done before getting bored of the story you had in mind, you have to dedicate all your free time and then some.
Eventually I stopped doing both because stories are boring to do and "manga" is out of my time budget.
I wish I could draw, but I can't at all. I can write though and I've been commissioning some people to draw proof of concept art for a series I've been writing out that I devised on /a/.
It would be a manga in all but location.

I'm lucky to have made friends on /a/ that are helping me along with this.
