How do we stop her?
Through repeated hugs and kisses.
Someone needs an infodump on how to stop being a faggot
his world contains forces that try to make things make sense in order to maintain order. Make sense? Selesia and I have probably been "translated so that we fit in this world. Instead of two-dimensional forms, polygons, or pixels, we appear just like Sota. This is due to the ability to make things make sense or in order words, due to restoration power. However, I do not think that this world is elastic enough that hundreds of "story worlds" filled with contradictions to this world can be merged with this world without negative effects. Just the fact that we are interacting like this right now already has the possiblity of producing negative effects. Furthermore, just as you have seen, we have kept abilities that interfere with the laws of physics and that dont' exist in this world. The world couldn't make things make sense fast enough. Or the collision of the worlds affected the world in a way we can't imagine. In any case, if we continue to meet and the collision of the worlds continues... The coefficient of elasticity will eventually reach its limit and the equilibrium mechanisms governing the laws of this world will be damaged. If that happens I think that eventually, everything will be "reset" someday, including this world, the foundation for creating over worlds. That is what I think. I refer to it as the "Great Destruction.
give Hime more screentime
Reset the world.
Pull a BIG twist.
Give Rui a battle scene in gigas machina.
Use Yuuya's screentime well.
Or all of the above, but none of these will actually happen.
It grows more on me the more I think
Just from this scene I'm hyped the most since the start of the show. I hope those fuckers don't disappoint me again since they teased a major battle. It can single-handedly redeem the whole show.
On one side you have
On the other
Rui, Yuya or Hime may even join later. I'd be pissed off if it ended up being a minute long sequence then one side flee quickly like that time when Yuya protected Red. Mamika can fuck shit up and Alice has her Schnitzel incantation which looked strong so I'm expecting a flashy fight.
They are doing a niconico marathon today and it makes no fucking sense to do one before exciting stuff happens. Episode 6 was the best this show will have to offer at least until the end of the first cour.
>I'd be pissed off if it ended up being a minute long sequence then one side flee quickly
Did you miss the preview?
Also the image in the OP was posted on twitter.
As you can see Meteora is fine and they clearly aren't fighting anymore, which means the fight ended quickly and Meteora is going to be explaining things for the rest of the episode.
I really hope it's not like this. I mean, fuck this is episode 7, it's the middle of the cour where usually the climax leading up to the final act is plotted. If it doesn't happen now, then it will never happen.
>It's a flashback scene about Meteora's preparation for the battle
>They are inside the house but everything outside is in complete chaos
>she's not that crazy
She's also not that bright.
How much budget do you think this has? It's 22 episodes too. There's no way they are having any long battle right after this. Even though most of the "battle" last episode was talking.
>You couldn't have predicted the last episode from the previews.
But we could predict it from the images posted on twitter.
Again, look at the picture in the OP, just like in the PV, it shows that Meteora is fine and the battle appears to be over.
Is there a chance they'll expand the cast of creations down the line? I think it's a guarantee that Soda is going to create a character but I'm wondering if there will be any other late additions.
Episode 6 PV had Selesia and Alice fighting and Shark appearing. Pictures they posted on twitter included shots of Mamika and Blitz. It's not exactly spoilers but you could tell that something will happen.
We know that at least two scenes in episode 7 will be talking. One more is about Yuuya hanging out god knows where but it's not the place they were fighting at.
so Meteora can infodump you about them
I don't think Hiroe is awesome but I have no idea how he could have written a script that bad. I guess he decided to write a smart kind of story for once and failed miserably and everyone else in the production just went along with him for whatever reason depite even a fucking yonkoma artist being able to notice that there is a problem with this one character having too many lines.
What can I say? Boys are just better than girls.
I just need a Meteora I can carry in my phone so she can talk to me all day. She could infodump as my alarm clock, infodump what shit I need to do today, infodump me on the weather today.
I would be in literal heaven.
Not even a 4koma artist, any regular viewer would've seen it. Don't they pilot-test this shit before airing, focus-groups style like the Americans do? Someone has to have told them about that or >>157370453 wouldn't have happened.
>see a single scene from the episode that shows literally nothing and could be fit by the end of the episode or even as a flashback
>it means the fight ended quickly
This is the most retarded and rushed conclusion I've ever seen. Congrats, you are a retard.
She's on a quest to destroy the world.
I mean it's not like their production team is completely oblivious and yet they put it into production and spent tons of money on marketing in a way that suggested it wiould be an action oriented show. I really don't understand what was going on there.
So why do they put shit everybody hates about the show and that isn't even relevant to the episode in the PV right before a niconico marathon that is supposed to broaden their audience?
>for whatever reason
I don't know how popular Hiroe is exactly, but if he's supposed to be a really big name then maybe they figured "oh he's the auteur here, he knows what he's doing"
I'd destroy her world if you know what I am talking about
There's something there, but it's nothing special.
Meteora is cute and I like her autistic attempts at humor but they really fucked her over. They better fix this asap.
I like her design.
It's a shame her role in the story has to be what it is. It's like Hiroe made a bunch of really good charcter designs and then didn't know what to do with them.
How could they? They have literally no one to explain to them what's happening.
Otoko no ko ruined you if you think this is what a boy's ass looks like.
He's tied to Hime's creator so he'll definitely be relevant. That and with all of Meteora's talk about how the creators' imagination is super important, it's safe to say that he will eventually create a character that will save the day at the end.
Hime is just a fan character from a likely popular show. Setsuna is basically the lowest tier creator in the show in terms of market insertion, and Souta didn't even help her draw.
>Re:Creators except with hentai characters
I think they've done well to avoid the trainwreck territory so far. It's a no brainer that him being good at anything should bear no relation to the story. He certainly worked with Setsuna, but I'd say it's more of a power of love kind of deal than anything.
We should just let Hime win. She'll make 2d real.
Which is why she needs to make reality crumble, and with the holopsicon reset the world without the unnecessary third dimension.
How is Meteora in the real world in the first place? Other than Hime, all of the other creation choices seem to be based on popularity - either the main character of a current series or a role that tends to do as well or better, like rival or heroine. But by all accounts, Meteora is just a support NPC there to deliver some fluff dialogue in the last area of an old RPG, and I presume we'd have heard by now if she was some breakout-hit meme character that got popular from a single scene. I think it's telling that she's the only one who hasn't been able to pose in front of an advertisement featuring herself - unlike the other main characters, her OP billboard pose spot just shows an empty scene with her reflection. In fact, I think the only media we've seen of her game at all has been the box itself and a strategy guide.
Further, if we accept that a creation's personality and attributes are based on the work they appeared in, how is Meteora capable of displaying nuances like wondering if the world is worth saving, being upset over her creator or even making weird jokes? I doubt any of those would have time to be showcased in a one-note "go forth and save the world, hero" NPC.
It's interesting that like Hime, Meteora also has a dead creator. Is it possible that Meteora's theory was somewhat off, and that a creation isn't based on the work itself, but rather on the affection the creator had for them and on his or her own mental idea of their story and character traits? Rewriting Selesia didn't fail because it was the LN and not the anime creator or because the fans hadn't accepted it, but because her creator never really believed the changes would be part of her story. In that case, Meteora is a case like Hime - a little-known character without much impact, but whose creator particularly cared for her and had strong ideas about her character, even if those were never part of the actual work.
Reverse-isekai is an untapped gold mine. If it catches on like regular isekai, we'll see every variation possible. Yours would make an excellent harem ecchi.
If I just know what the hell this is and how it ties to everything before I die, I will die a happy man.
I assumed she was more a guide NPC rather than just some random support side character.
That is something like the guide maidens in dark souls, someone you keep coming back to and gives you various tips about what you should be doing, then at the final area gives her goodbye to you.
All you need to know about Holopsicon.
>Meteora just randomly makes some crazy ass assumption that bringing in fictional characters and having them do fictional things will make the world blow up somehow
>No one questions her on this, just immediately gasp in horror and agree with her and become concerned
>Not even the government questions her on this, they just listen to everything she says and even their representative becomes her friend
It would probably have made sense if we'd actually seen her coming to her conclusions bit by bit and not just reporting back with a "Yeah, I checked my book and stuff and this is totally what's going on".
>shoots the person whos talking too much
heh nice touch
She talked with hime and that's the conclusion she reached from it.
To be fair the government doesn't really have anything else to go on.
Clearly magical beings came from another world and can easily survive missile blasts and break the laws of physics. If one of them says someone is planning to blow up the world and is in no other way aggressive toward you, you kinda just gotta at least go with it a little bit. Until you can form a better conclusion.
>the government is just being smart!
No they're not. Like sure, Meteora looks like a good girl, hasn't been openly hostile towards them and we, as the viewers, know she doesn't intend any ill will, but they sure fucking don't. What if Meteora is just messing with them and plans to bloodily backstab their shit right out? Yet they're completely trusting her because "oh shit is that sum inori minase". Yeah they have to start somewhere in order to get a handle on what's going on, but they're just bending over backwards for Meteora's mouthdick for no real reason.
I never said they were being smart, they're going along with the simplest answer from a non aggressive party that agreed to help them.
They can't contain them, but they do have them under their watch now and their supposed cooperation. If a reason came up to doubt them they'd know.
As of now instead of thinking of the government as being 100% complacent (we all know there will be some plot twist with the government, there always is) its them cooperating to keep the super magical beings on their good side while they can keep watch on them and later decide how things will stand. This is just intelligence gathering until a more concrete conclusion can be formed.
Probably the best setting, considering Hime is very easygoing and open to conversation, they could have had a full discussion where the possibility of the end of the world would be brought.
But maybe his intention is having a biased person talking about and having the character that wasn't open to talk to show Hime as someone more threatening than she is. If they talked with Hime about the end of the world she could just shoot it down.
They should be suspicious, but not openly suspicious. Rui alone could end japan if they aren't diplomatic enough, and there is no way to even know how many more of them there are even if they are restrained/killed (which they already failed to do with a surprise attack).
Bitch episode? but you already posted her!
Only if Hime gets an overdesigned swimsuit with a dumb hat.
I don't even understand what Meteora's theory changes. Shouldn't they always try to not use their powers in the public? And they don't even seem to be trying to hold back, seeing as Selestia flies all the way up to Souta's window as if that is normal or that they run around in their costumes and use powers without much hesitation. Meteora doesn't even tell the knight and other girl about her theory last episode even though the idea that their actions could destroy their own world should naturally be a concern. And since she never has to present evidence to get people to believe her, shouldn't she do the same in that situation? Would change their minds faster than her vague talk.
What if Meteora isn't with hime but she is doing exactly what hime wanted her to do?
Everyone is doing exactly what Hime wants them to do
She is the puppetmaster
Plausible according to Meteora's own theory.
Hime wants a bunch of flashy shit that is impossible according to real-world physics to tear the real world apart. Fictional character fights are flashy shit that are impossible according to real-world physics. If Team Creators sat fights out and let Team Hime unleash maximum fictional havoc, eventually someone would nuke Japan, eliminating Japan but protecting the fabric of reality. When Team Creators fights Team Hime, they protect Japan, but double the amount of reality-warping.
There will probably be some flashbacks.
>pixiv is a reliable indicator of popularity
A character can be liked and not get a ton of fanart but that does not mean fanart cannot also be an indication of popularity over another. And this series isn't very popular but Hime and Makagami awakened artists more than usual at the very least.
You don't and there's no reason to.
Alice is better than Saber. She has a horse.
Horses are better than motorcycles.
The one thing that pisses me off the most is how everyone is fucking flying. I could deal with Meteora flying due to being a mage and Chuuni flying through the power of her delusional behavior, but having Blitz and Red flying is just silly.
It's perfectly understandable for most characters. But yeah Blitz flying is just lazy as fuck.
Rui looks really silly now because he's just about the only person in this show that can't soar through the skies like a dumbass without his walking overcompensation.
My complaint is that Blitz flying seems almost like an afterthought. I expected him to be more of a detective/batman kind of guy, except with a gun. Instead he's just going head on with everyone else flying around and shooting magical bullets at them.
Red flying is just pure silliness, since she doesn't even have an explained way of doing so.
Red is from your typical magical action realm. Everyone flies in that shit. Its just part of their character.
Though blitz flying does feel forced, but that seems to be more at odds with his character design than anything about the plot. He looks like a detective but he doesn't really act like one in any way and has magic bullets. I'm assuming someone just dropped the ball with his design.
Blitz just needs some kind visual effect added to his flight ability. Like they could use the wobbly bluish aura that his gravity bullet makes and give him an outline in that.
It does make sense, sense he seems to have gravity manipulation shit. With just flying its just a lack of gravity, with a gravity bomb its a huge increase of force so you'd see some weird particle effects of some form.
Why doesn't she summon a bunch of PPSHs and shoot them instead of sabers?
>Blitz Talker identifies Slow Talker
>"not on my watch, bitch"
I'd like to convince Mamika that "if it feels good, it's a right thing to do, so there should be no guilt for anything" and influence her to commit increasingly horrific actions.
I have a feeling that this anime will be just thirteen episodes with nine filler episodes that are mostly focused on Meteora.
I need more Mamika. Even if she saved worst girl, she is still the best.
Oh, pfft, of course. Between all the Meteora, I kinda completely forgot about him.
I hope he shows up next episode. He could team up with Mamika and even his score against Blitz.
>>Meteora just randomly makes some crazy ass assumption that bringing in fictional characters and having them do fictional things will make the world blow up somehow
Probably as a result of the world trying to make sense of the all the magic bullshit to the point the magic bullshit becomes the norm, and now some world ending power from your typical LN/anime/manga is created/allowed to exist.
She's right in a round-a-bout manner.
You and I know damn well that animators don't accessorize characters much, and if they do, they virtually never give them a different pair of glasses.
I am betting the artists are inconsistent as fuck.
The black ones are Souta's glasses. There's some symbolism hidden there but we don't know what it is about yet.
Would every show improve if you added Mahou Shoujo?
I still dont understand this scene. She could just go
>Why dont you ask that hime for compensation
>Next time i watch smugly as hime fuck you up, are you okay with that?
>You just rocketlaunched a mecha that costs more than your fuckhole of a country can afford in 100 years. So apologize first.
Would anal sex with Meteora get her to shut up?
It seems to work pretty well with tsunderes from battle harem shows.
So I just got up to episode 5, and had a thought. Could the event that happening in Japan start happening in other countries too? Would America be experiencing a rash of superheroes and video game characters fucking shit up in New York?
no, hime calls the shots and she doesn't like gaijins
Is it wrong to want Mamika to participate in a battle royale where only 1 can survive?
Stop harassing best girl.
Think of it this way. The player character is always first person, so you never see them. Thus the main character of the game doesn't leave an impression with the players.
Meteora on the other hand is the NPC at the last save-spot in the game before the final area. You die, you reload, you see her. She probably gets outsized screentime in practice relative to her role due to the flow of the game.
She says she has limited interpersonal skills. That probably stems from her limited characterization. But on the other hand she has access to a lot of information, including her magic wikipedia tome and possibly a high INT stat if it's that kind of game. Those things allow her to fill the gaps in characterization by spending time on thinking about things for herself.
While the creations are somewhat governed by their character description they're still capable of exercising some free will.
I'm dropping this shit if Rui isn't in the next episode.
Daily reminder that Red is just a discount Meiling.
Are you guys going to watch the episode 1-6 recap stream with the nips?
That doesn't make sense. Having knowledge doesn't give you character nuances or a weird sense of humor. That's not filling in gaps, it's a new complexity that wasn't originally present.
Meteora has no experience with video games yet she managed to complete the whole game during an all-nighter. How subpar that JRPG had to be, since they usually last at least 20+ hours of gameplay?
Character nuances and the weird sense of humor come from the game. You think she's a knwledgeable plank, but she's probably not, she praises her creator for his attention to detail and passionate work. There's probably more lore to her than present in the game, to characterize her enough to be a functioning human.
