Is Vinland Saga /a/ approved?
I don't think that there are any manga without anime adaptations that /a/ does not approve of.

except the NTR ones
>needing others to validate your interests
Go be a sheep on reddit. Or be happy with being able to enjoy shows that others dislike.
Also sage.
It's not very good so yes.
>>157360232
It's garbage
>>157362803
I'm interested in why you think it's not good, care to elaborate?
>>157360285
Good Ending.
It's actually not that bad, I read it for a hundred chapters or so until they skipped like 10 years and Thorfinn looked like a depressing sack of shit
I couldn't read after that because of how depressing it was
Before that it was fairly enjoyable
>>157360232
It's basically Kenshin/ Vagabond but with the norse so yeah, it's good.
Heck is one of the only mangas i am following right now.
I hope this, Vagabond and Berserk would get good adaptations but still nothing...

That part was still great. Now they invited some useless lady and made it more light hearted. I do like hunter chick though.
>>157360232
no
they are currently on a boat with pacifist, loud vagina, child. dog and edge
t. /a/
muh longboats
muh badass MC
muh farming
muh pacifism
muh eternal boatride
there you've had the gist of all the vinland saga threads ever made since the timeskip
>>157360232
No, but Askeladd was
>>157366303
The last adaptation of Berserk is fairly good.

Just not very well written. I enjoy it, but it's definitely not without flaws. Likely the guys first work.
>>157360232
Only now I have realized that person on the right, in fact, doesn't have a head of a bird.
>>157370202
>Likely the guys first work.
>hasn't read Planetes
You fuckin wot, m8?
>>157371369
Good to know I can put that one on the 'dropped' list. Thanks for the heads-up.
>>157371414
Your loss.
>>157371414
>>157371554
I appreciate your sentiment, but can you tell your fellow VS fanbase to stop acting like the poster below you? It makes all of you look rather immature. This is partially your fault.
>>157371657
You throw one of /a/'s most unanimously loved manga on your dropped list for a really flaky reason and then you're surprised when somebody calls your post bait?
The first half, yes.
>>157371807
I post a valid post. Regardless of what your opinion on the post is isn't an excuse to shitpost. This goes for anyone, even on /a/. You think shitposting is justified just because you disagree with a post? Shitposting is NEVER justified. Especially when it's low-quality image macro spams quite literally from Reddit. They do not add anything to the conversation. I'm not pretending you're the one who posted that. I'm saying you shouldn't justify it. I could care less what the hivemind of /a/ likes. I can think for myself.
>>157372007
Someone is pissed because he heard /a/nons trash talk his favorite anime.
>>157372007
I am not justifying it. I am saying you provoked it when you posted an opinion that went against popular opinion without proper reasoning behind it.
People are going to shitpost on 4chan. That's an unavoidable fact of life. If you make a dumb post, you better prepare for some shitty image macros and probably a bunch of smug anime girls.
>>157360232
>/a/ approved
do you think this is /v/?
fuck off
Firs half was great, then it slowed down to glacial pace in farmland saga, but it still made a lot of sense from a narrative perspective since it had to set-up the mc's path to redemption. I'd say its biggest problem right now is that most of Thorfinn's party is mostly composed of really boring or right down awful characters i.e. full eyes, Gudrid, that stupid dog and the stupid baby and specially muh brilliant engineer in the middle ages.I kind of hope most of them get killed off rather quickly.
>>157360232
I stopped when Thorfinn is unslaved... I thought it was less interesting than the beginning of the manga with it's huge battles and political intrigues.
Is it getting better after ?
>>157360232
Yes it has a big demographics here. Who told you it wasn't popular? You can tell me.
I read the original Vinland sagas in the time it took for the author to write 20 pages of basically nothing.
>>157373038
I'm assuming Hild is going to die because of Thorfinn's pacifism at some point, that's the only real way to make the constant "I could solve our issues with violence, but I choose not to" feel like an impactful decision. Full Eyes is clearly safe as a non-serious character, Gudrid and Lief are historical and don't die, and the baby's a non-character.
>>157373085
We finally got some fights back, but it'll never be the same. I still like it tho, specially because Thorfinn is now searching for the true meaning behind his father's words.
>>157375489
Is this your first manga?
>>157360425
Nah, those are approved as well.
>>157370202
I just want to say that, while you are entitled to your opinion, I want to know what you think isn't well written about it. Flaws don't make something bad, but I can see why some people would dislike certain things more than others.
>>157360232
Not until it gets anime.
