I will keep watching it for Rui, but who the hell approved these first episodes? Aoki is really halfassedly trying to make some of the things more fun and I don't know what Hiroe was thinking. If there is no payoff for all the theory set up and exploration of how characters work in our world it will be disappointing as fuck.

The idea is fun, the characters are fun, but the execution of the story is awful.

I think that part was actually one of the better "meteora is talking" parts. It was preceded by her and marine visiting the studio and imagery of meteora going to the internet cafe. The dump of her mind-state only followed the visuals.
What came after it, the whole world destruction thing was inferior since it was not really backed by anything we have seen. If they had shown team hobo first with hime giving her speech to saber first then meteora's deductions would be a bit more palatable since we could assume she has talked to hime before.

Episode 2 was entirely Mamika's villain of the week attribute. The scene got resolved when she was distraught and confused. Her antagonizing team Red and questioning herself in episode 6 was the payoff. The difference here is, they now have real stakes. Team Hime wants to get rid of team Red and proceed with their plans. Team Red wants to stop team Hime and get ahold of the new character. They won't just disengage and leave the scene like last time, because it was the sensible thing to do. Here, one side will come out ahead and do something according to that later on.
