They used Japanese terminology for the attack names until the Artificial Human arc (different writer forgot and used american terms like 'destructo disc' instead of kienzan), "I am Son Goku," wrote English versions of the songs, replaced the voice cast for future DB dubs, etc

When the dub does something that everyone universally agrees is better people want that shit to stay. Music isn't relevant to any sort of canon for the manga anyways, so redoing it isn't seen as something that "ruins the vision" so long as the music is good. Faulconer's SS3 music is iconic.

So, these posts have helped me realize the DBZ universe (not 7, but the entire franchise) is similar to Samurai Flamenco and OPM. In these universes, practicality and physics don't really matter. What does is your will power and your own personal reality. This shapes how you interact with the world. Their not strengthening their bodies usually (except like Piccolo and Krillin), they're strengthening their will's (ki).

So in the end, they can be just as strong as they want, because they envision it.

This is why SSB Goku jobbed to 17 and etc., and why others will achieve higher limits for him to overcome. He sees the universe as a place where unknown power resides and is looking for it around every corner. Meanwhile, everyone else sees themselves training to be stronger than him.
