I think the problem with posting non-requested art is that it makes the artist look like they're just trying to get attention. It can come off the wrong way, especially if their art isn't very great. It's like doing something that nobody asked for. There's a much steeper hill to climb for artists than posting for requests because if they continue, they can look annoying to everyone else, whereas with requests, they just look like they're trying to help someone.

I've seen some drawfags do their own requests (such as Smurf in one of the previous threads). Maybe drawfags could just do that if they can't find anything that interests them, just don't make it so obvious.

I think you need to do some slight touchups to the eyes and faces for Akua Mugino and BB. Maybe change Haruhi's head a bit since it looks skewed. Right off the top of my head things like changing Akua's eyes to be slightly closer together, BB's to be the same size, And Mugino's left one should be smaller than the other one cause her head's tilted away from us.

Aside from that, clothing looks great, hands looks great, proportions are good too. (I thought Kurome's hand was too small at first, but I realized its a perspective thing since its going away and being smaller.)

I just take the colors from whatever reference i'm using with the color picker. I would say that it is easier that way but that doesn't apply to when you're coming up with something in your head or whatever, just take a reference and take the colors and go with it.

Another thing I would suggest trying is keeping your wrist straight and only bend and move your arm at the shoulder and elbow. You won't get sore after 30 minutes.

The chin isn't lined up correctly for this angle. It shouldn't be directly under the nose and mouth like it is because the face is turned sideways, so you should pull it the left (of the view) a little more (unless you character has a major underbite). I'd draw red lines to show you, but I'm away from my PC at the moment. Faces generally have a curve to them, the nose being the farthest point in front.

Also, the mouth is usually halfway in between the nose and the chin, and the nose is usually halfway in between the eyes and the chin. If you raise the nose and mouth a bit though, it will make your character look younger; the opposite will make them look older (like grandma old) which is sorta what she looks like right now.
