Is there a greater tsundere in all of anime?
Since no one posted anyone else I guess that proves that she really is the best.
There are no good tsundere.

I disagree anon. Modern tsundere suck but Ayukawa is no modern tsundere. She's tsundere done right.

Yes there is.

I'm just about to watch this since I just finished Kimagure Orange Road. One thing I like about Ayukawa is her delinquent background that is tamed over time by Kyosuke. Maison Ikkoku doesn't look like it has the same kind of thing, but I'm hoping I like the romance just as much.
Does /a/ not like classic tsundere?

Yooooooooooooooo, is this Orange Road? Haven't read that shit and/or watched it in years
>>157273897
Yep. It's a true classic.
>>157274057
I should read it again.
>>157274221
You should. It holds up pretty well after all these years.
>>157272318
What's her height?
>>157274513
I have no idea.
Natsuki Kuga

I like her but not as much as Ayukawa.

Thank you. Nothing can beat Maison Ikkoku.

Does Kyoko even count as a tsundere though?
Also I like both Ayukawa and Kyoko Otonashi
I love Ayukawa.
Madoka's a badass.
Did any Orange Road fans actually prefer Hikaru? Nothing against her, but I bet if you polled the fans it would come under 10 percent. Seems like the show wanted viewers to prefer Ayukawa anyway.

I can't imagine anyone really liking Hikaru. She got barely any development in the series and the show constantly pushed Madoka and showed her good qualities. Despite Hikaru being Kyosuke's "girlfriend" the show is not at all like a modern love triangle where there's an actual mystery as to who could possibly win.
I think it's really only the movie that made me feel something for Hikaru. Of course I always thought Kyosuke was kind of a jerk in the show for basically leading Hikaru on but the movie made me really sympathetic for her. There's a part in the film where she asks Kyouske what she meant to him the whole time and he doesn't answer. I think he couldn't answer because he really thought nothing of her at all the whole time.

I haven't watched the movie yet, I hear it's good. I know it's been 20 years but I never actually got around to seeing it.

You really should. It's not on the level of EoE in terms of tv show ending films, but it's still good. There's another line in the film that really stuck out to me that I feel perfectly captures Hikaru's, Madoka's and Kyouske's relationship in a sort of ironic sort of way.
The film's only an hour long so you don't even need to dedicate a lot of time for it.

Noted. And how's the 90s Shin KOR? I also didn't watch that, but mainly because I heard it was weird. The art style's certainly different.
