My only real gripe is with Caster
Goes around wantonly kidnapping and killing children without ever attracting attention
>Makes no attempt to hide his actions. Servants can even sense other Servants uncloaked
>Has a bounty on his head for a free command spell, something Tokiomi and Kayneth really, really want after wasting one
>Neither Kerry's intelligence network nor the Hassans find him

I think it's kinda interesting my secondary anime-only friends have completely different opinions.

The ones that saw UBW before watching Zero disliked Zero, and the ones who watched Zero first disliked UBW.

I told the one who watched UBW to wait for the Heaven's Feel movie. But then it became a trilogy, and it's not gonna be finished until 4.44 comes out so he just went on and watched Zero first and got that shit spoiled for him.

This. Zero has some genuinely good points, but Uro is too obsessed with shock value and suffering porn to make a truly meaningful story. Most of Zero was just Saber bullying.

Still, I'd take it 1000 times over Stay Night just because it lacks the retarded Shirou monologues.

Besides, Zero is plagued with western action movie tropes, so I can't honestly see the novelty in it.

Eh, she's only crazy on the fate route, in UBW she did nothing until gil kill her, and in HF she was pretty nice with shirou since the beginning , support him in abbadoning his ideals and pretty much saving his life at the end

That said Zero is still a fun ride, it's just as chunni and silly as Stay night and I wish I watched it with /a/ back in the day.
