You've captured the show's art style so well while adding in a lot of nice little touches like giving her beautiful finger nails and having the overalls be baggy like that. The line-work is also really neat, with where you chose to use thin and thick lines. The lines also have a sort of fuzzy warmth to them that, combined with the background and the inherent cuteness of Yutaka, give the image a very comforting aesthetic. Thanks, when I draw, it all comes from paper and pencils, then scan it and digitalize on some japanese softwares, which were used for some anime. It gaves me more freedom on Photoshop/After Effects to add stuff. For the thick outline I just activated the stroke tool on the layer style

Just don't focus too much on the final product, rather try to enjoy the process of drawing itself, that's the best advice i've gotten so far
If you are new, things will not come out the way you wanted them to, so if you are only drawing to get to a nice final resoult, drawing itself will be frustrating, and looking at the final pic will be even worse. That frustration might make you stop (i happens most of the time). If you enjoy the process of drawing and learning, the end result will still be poor, but at least you had fun doing it.
