Think one piece, so many clutch hype moments like gear 4th can be used in current time, and surprise the viewer, because they skipped over him learning it, in the timeskip.

In titans case it was implied that eren and annie trained regularly during the 3 years as cadets, when he monologues during they're second fight, he refers to all the times they would train.

Best part is that they are using flashbacks the way they are meant to be used, something I have not seeing in a good plot in a long ass time, the flashbacks have actual meaning and reasoning behind then, Eren is using then, the audience is using it, they are taking effect on the present, is beautiful, thumps up anon.

Needless to say the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal, remixing of old tracks, mixed with brand new ones. It isn't anymore repetative then any other shows soundtrack, probably the least repetative.

The pacing couldn't be better, they're on track to end at the arcs climax, all the while covering just enough material so that every episode has something exciting or interesting going on, and these god tier cliffhangers to boot.

The writing couldn't be better, they do such a good job for foreshadowing and setting up all sorts of interesting scenarios, the way this most recent fight played out is a prime example.

and 50 seconds of a cgi surrounded by amazing sakuga is hardly anything to complain about, nice try but you've literally got nothing.

If you're gonna do a prolonged flash back that has immediate story relevance, make sure it's something new. Thinking about AOT has been really good with this (flash back to finding out about BRA) for example, which explains why everyone is on edge the whole time.

They didn't explain the move, the writers took less then 2 minutes to show us erens trump card, showing how eren learned it etc.

They then go on to show instead of tell, with triangle lock, arm break etc, implying he learned all these moves the same way, the transition right after getting punch into that flash backs was great to. You can get mad all you want and argue on a chinese image board, won't change the fact that the fight was phenomenal and everyone without a stick up their ass loved it, oh and that just makes you so so upset.
