I'm getting sick of so many fantasy anime devolving into to SoL bullshit. It is clear that this genre is the one with the most wasted potential. That's something you keep for the OVAs, it's perfectly alright for a show to show off normal life in its setting but Sword Oratoria spends too much time focusing on that instead of the action that most of us are here for.

The first season has plenty of strong bloody violence, look at those scenes with Bell and the Minotaurs. That's what I want to see, kickass medieval fighting. What do we get here? Boob jokes. It's like KyoAni but reverse time by 500 years and add in magic along with no age restrictions. Let's face it, Bell and Hestia will get wasted on his 15th and end up breaking her 5,000,000 year old cherry.

To me, DanMachi is in the same boat as Freddy vs. Jason. Lots of potential yet they didn't grab it...yet the only difference is that movie was fucking awesome regardless.

I want to soak up the visuals, be moved by characters, watch them slay beasts, get fucked up in pubs. I want the fucking writers to put themselves in the shoes of their characters instead of reusing the same fucking tit cliches over and over.

However I will fly over to Japan and personally buy a box of chocolates for everyone working on DanMachi if pic related happens to Spergstein like it should. Fucking bitch.
