They go see his brother, then the stitched together guy, then it turns out the wolf king was a good guy all along and it was a misunderstanding, and then they revived the dad I think but then he died again? I don't remember it's been a while since I caught up

Honestly, I have to say that Needless is one I find fun. I've reread so many of the chapters on a whim without reading any of the prior ones, just because I wanted to enjoy some moments again. The early chapters (around what the anime adapted) were fucking crazy.

They're up to 26 in typeset (>>157080006), and fully caught up on translations. Typeset anon works a lot slower since he's gotta redraw and word everything better, considering the translations were quick and full of grammatical errors at times (Not that the TL guy was bad, it's just the side effect of quick translations).

I feel that the quality has gone down considerably, but I also feel it's improving. The Berserk anime reboot is atrocious, but I still have hope for it. They're a small studio, and they're still trying to improve. It still looks terrible, but the season two previews look better than season one at least.

As for the manga, I also feel that the art quality has turned into something that doesn't fit the manga. It's too cutesy and classic moe anime style. For instance, pic related is from the most recent update, compare it to the image I originally posted. That being said, I think it's improving as Miura is settling into his niche again, the dreamscape panels look decent.

Tezuka's Buddha has always been a strong favorite of mine. The landscapes recreate India in such vivid detail and the characters are very well developed.
The strong bold panel designs give it a very austere feeling.
In classic Tezuka form, it also manages to be incredibly thought provoking while also being very approachable.

I really love Mahoutsukai no Yome, but it's been dragging on a bit due to monthly releases and consequently forgetting what happened in the previous chapter.

There's also Love Sync Dream, which was a straight up blast to read. Sumikko no Sora-san is a great philosophy manga, albeit the pacing is a little slow. Renai Kaiden Sayoko-san is a hilarious romcom but turned a bit too serious in the end imo.

this manga, Ultimo, something catching my attention and added to my favourite list recently, it's from author of Shaman King (and Stan Lee). Only complain is that the art became less polished in later volumes, and the increasing level of homos but it's still something quite unique and get me hooked on riding through the book.
