Your favourite anime now gets a remake by KyoAni.
How much better is it?
it is the one piece of work that truly separated the patricians from the plebs
But my favorite anime was made by KyoAni.
>Kyoani adapts x
>remove half of the cast and entirely changes the story
>story is now focused in the gay relationship between two of the filler new girls
Why would anyone want his favourite anime be touched by Kyoani dirty hands?
Most of the mecha stuff is gone, so that's a big plus. We get Slice of Life action with non-moe android girl. That's a plus.
I'm not too sure on how well they'd keep the mysterious atmosphere, which is the main drive for me.
As a bonus, it'd be great. Would not replace the original, though.
>the entirety of the plot always takes place in school now
>snail replaced by some floating spirit that talks to araragi and tells him to do naughty things. she now looks at least 18
>bat wears an outfit that always covers her whole body and there are no sexual innuendos directed at her by any male. innocent loli#19732460346 protected by kyoani
>crab and monkey are in lesbians officially and on screen, kyoani always so progressive
>forced drama between cat and a slightly older snake over araragi
>kyoani original character that is friends with bat and has her living with her so there are no icky old guys around the loli
>all character's ages redacted
>the plot is like scooby doo, but with cat araragi and the lesbians solve mysteries around the school about ghosts
>episode 2 araragi gets possessed by a ghost that turns him into Ougi
>not fixed til episode 9 out of 10
>all dialogue cut in half for visuals
>mediocre kyoani VAs
>everyone's neck is now ok, but their mouth is now fully on one side of their face when shown from the side
i'm actually curious
someone draw the Knight Sabers in kyoani's shitty style
>Evangelion now makes even less sense than before
>80% of the show is now about just the cast going to school and participating in events like the school festival where the chosen children made an idol group
>Shinji gradually lost any kind of relevance in the story by the half of the show only to give more focus on the Rei x Asuka pairing
>last scene of EoE is Asuka and Rei holding hands looking at the red sea
The Monogatari serious would go to shit.
I've never seen anything by Kyoani that even resembles the same feel as Kaleido Star, so it'd probably be ruined. They'd completely change the tone of the series, and the artstyle would be less unique too. Kyoani couldn't do it.
That's something I've actually wanted for a long time, for season 1. Remake it in the style of season 2. It's the only way to add more content to K-on, and season 2 was much better. If the whole story was in that style, it'd be perfect.
Really? Maybe it could be good, then. The biggest problem with Kaleido Star was the story, but it probably wasn't they who came up with that, right?
I was just thinking Yamada usually makes heavy, emotional stuff, but the comedy in K-on is pretty light in tone, so maybe it'd work. And one of the great things about Kaleido Star is the great emotional moments anyway. It could be really good, actually. But the animation would probably be ruined, and they wouldn't be able to do much with the story in a remake.
Ugh, just imagined the annoying bird as the spirit of the stage, that'd be awful, but hopefully Yamada knows better now.
>Ashita no Nadja
Better animation/art/photography, but no Hosoda episodes.
Wouldn't know until I see how they change VEG from its source material.
Joshiraku & all of its author works get remake by Kyoani will be Epic.
>The show is about trashing Kyoani themself
100% will watch
I like my favorite anime because it balance school sol, action, drama and take almost no focus on romantic relationships, so something kyoani is fundamentally incapable to do, might as well make live action to spit on it properly.
That optimistic version, imagine entire season of yryr adapting one or two volumes of manga.
It gets a lot better, the focus on the relationships is pretty much intact, it's more focused on thr school life
Or it's just the AU from episode 26
>Only 12 episodes
It becomes shit
>Eerie glassy architecture replaced by blurred Instagram shots of the Kyoto suburbs
>Inu Curry witches replaced by Kyoukai's standard-issue monsters of the week
>Madoka says she doesn't like Homura "that way"; starts dating her male math teacher
>The show was all chuuni Homura's delusions; Madoka was an imaginary friend she devised to cope with the death of her parents
It would at least be a complete adaptation now
