Without spoiling, is there anyone who can justify where there are trying to go with this show? I've seen all the episodes so far and I'm usually the type that can guess how an anime will be by the first episode, but this one, it's just too deadpan. There has to be something right? Not just this rinse and repeat of random powers tied to emotions or trauma, I mean cmon monogatari already did it, and better too. What the appeal for people who have stuck this long?

Exactly, I saw it was David Productions so I thought, "It's the poeple that are making Jojo's.. they aren't making part 5 right now because they are making this.. So it has to be good right?" It's not a bad show, but if it continues like this and it doesnt go anywhere exciting, then I will have a hard time justifying the time I put in and to top it off i wouldnt re watch it or recommend it to other people unless I knew they liked this specifically

Not really, but it's hilarious Kei seeing the girl and going "Man, what the hell". I think he seems to know her before (especially with the over-familiarity by her), unless the show has some mindfuckery going on (which I assume would be the case).

Atleast the bullshit philosophy actually has weight this time(albeit mediocre though), with Haruki/Kei both respectively worry about the repercussions of their actions (For Haruki, is the Resetted Haruki be the same and be cared about by Kei, and for Kei will in the event of reviving Souma will she be the same Souma as before)
