Chapter 865 Hey, Mother
Ceasar, carrying Brulee, sets up the escape mirror in front of the venue.
Katakuri attempts to stop Luffy from trying to show Big Mom the picture.
Sanji attempts to heads towards and save his family but is restrained by the genie.
Reiju: (I've underestimated your kindness. You couldn't even leave us and run away.)
Reiju: (I have continued living a life of disgracing the Vinsmoke name...but looking at the grown up me...)
Reiju: (and rescuing me...! Because a conscious still resides in our family's blood.)
Reiju smiles towards Sanji.
Reiju: (Thank you, Sanji.)
Bege faces off Katakuri and attempts to shoot him, but Katakuri changes his entire body into a mochi-like substance and confronts him.
The bullets pierce his body, but he is unwounded and attacks Luffy.
Pedro and Jinbe attempt to stop him, but he turns his entire body into mochi and easily evades them. He captures Luffy.
Despite being restrained by Katakuri, Luffy stretches his arm to its fullest and shows Big Mom the broken picture.
Big Mom loses her senses and lets out a strange yell.
Guests lose conciousness one by one and almost all the siblings surrounding the Vinsmoke family collapse.
Sanji breaks the candy restraining his family.
At the same time as Big Mom loses her senses, she drops her knees to the ground.
After confirming that she scraped her knees and is bleeding, Bege aims the KX launchers at her.
Nami and Carrot hand each Vinsmoke a capsule that appears to hold their raid suits.
BM: (Hey, are you listening, Mother)
BM: (Everyone isn't listening to what I say)
BM: (Hey, where did you go Mother?)
BM: (Why did you disappear so suddenly?)

There's already a wind logia in filler, although this means less than it used to because Oven.
Unlikely because Mama's paramecia can control the weather and do much more.
I'm not sure why people get so hung up on something as arbitrary as the "monster trio". They were referred to as monsters, in passing, like once or twice in the entire manga. It's largely a fan concept.
Mama's paramecia doesn't straight up give you the ability to control the weather like Dragon's would. She is just smart enough to have found a way to use it to control the weather. Its like saying that Big Mom's fruit is the same as Ace's because they can both control a type of fire.

I love how Sanjifags get excited that Sanji can use basic observational haki. He literally dodged a single jelly bean, and now Sanjifags think he is Yonko commander level. L O L
Anon I scroll through this thread for spoilers but I always look for your post, cracks me up every-time.
>Big Mom's flashback beings 63 years ago at Elbaf in the New World
Are we actually going to have a flashback of Big Mom? Also, is she a giantess then? It would kinda explain her long lifespan (since apparently she just wastes all the soul bits into making useless living furniture).
Giants are long lived. Hajrudin is 81, and Broggy and Dorry were 158. Big Mom looks old for a giant at only 68.
- She's a half breed, or not a giant at all
- She's a short giant, but she looks older because parts of her soul are tied up in her personal homies and her soul collectors
If the latter is true, then Big Mom actually looks young when she absorbs all of her soul fragments.
>Sanjifags face when Carrot also joins and her, Jimbe, and Zoro become the monster trio.
>Carrot interested in Elbaf
N-NO! WCI and Wano should be enough adventure for her! Reeee! Fucking Oda pandering to waifufags and furries! Now if you'll excuse me I have to go fap to my fish husbando.
The new monster trio is Zoro, Jinbe and Brook. Brook is seriously slept on, he took on a Yonko and managed to do damage to her, enough for her to respect him for it. I doubt Sanji could do the same considering he broke his leg against a Vice-admiral who was well below even Yonko commander level.
Buggy can do everything Mihawk does and more.
>being a shichibukai
>rivaling against Shanks
>getting mentioned by Whitebeard
Meanwhile Mihawk never faced the 3 Admirals, got a cool as fuck crew, destroyed the whole Impel Down or saved Luffy from all the fucking marine.
Yeah but it was because Crocodile's natural weakness was water (even more than typical DF users). It made sense you'd find him in a desert country where water was rare. It was the first logia Luffy fought and it was a great fight.
Enel's fight was really pure luck on Luffy's side because he had the one fruit that countered him.
But then, since logias are by definition amongst the most powerful DF powers, how do you keep them relevant? You can't have Luffy figure out their weaknesses every time, that'd just be repetitive. Haki is a good idea because that way Oda can make both fighters duke it out and don't have to create an extremely convenient situation for the protags everytime, which would just make logias users seem like complete morons.
And it allows for more varieties of fights, like Zoro, who is 100% about sword techniques, to fight a snow girl, or Luffy, who is immune to punches, to fight characters with different fighting styles.
>Wano will be a mirror of Sanji's jobbing on WCI as Zoro's true family is revealed and he'll get beaten up by someone
>at the end it'll play out and he'll receive an elemental Wano sword.
So now the argument is Monet is alive and will be dead in the future? I can't follow you guys anymore...
San Juan Island was fun. I'm driving back to Portland tonight and will be flying home tomorrow. If the Portland anon wants to hang out I might have some time to get away tonight. Link your email if you're interested.
I think Haki was a good idea, and it was foreshadowed in Paradise where it never felt like something he just made up.
The problem was the black Haki shading, as this wasn't present before even at Marineford.
The black Haki shading wasn't necessary. You could show a faint aura in situations where characters attacked a logia, but the black shading is obviously a new invention.
Yeah let me just carry a fucking Faraday cage everywhere I go for the small chance that I run up against one particular devil fruit user.
Yeah, no thanks I'd rather take Haki instead.
>The black Haki shading wasn't necessary
It was becase idiots wasn't able to tell if a cjharacter uses CoA or not. And they bombed the studio with letters, so WSJ asked Oda to draw CoA black.
I bet they didn't even meet face to face. Blackbeard was probably too late to the party, or by the moment that he arrived, the revos were ready to depart to Momoiro Island.
>The problem was the black Haki shading, as this wasn't present before even at Marineford.
Luffy didn't know when people were using Haki during Marineford. Nobody who is unable to use Haki has commented on it being black in the series ever. It's just a stylistic visualization now that the characters can tell that it's being used.
You are idiot. Haki wasn't blacked before Ts, because we ar travelling together with the MC and his crew and explore the world together.
Black then Luffy and co, didn't know what the fuck haki is. It was explained to the MC (and for us) by Rayleigh during the timeskip.
Now crewmembers are aware of haki, and we too, so now we are able to "sense and make it visal" if a character is using CoA.
CoA is still invisible for the characters who doesn't know anything about haki.
I don't mind the black haki shading if it's limited purely to the areas actively being blocked or used to attack. I think the more recent issue with it has been characters who can coat their entire bodies or large areas of their body in it for extended periods of time. The result of such an ability means that the opponent just has to possess greater haki to get through the armor, which isn't very interesting and looks rather unappealing.
Ideally coating yourself in CoA haki should be taxing and require some notable level of concentration to perform and maintain, thus allowing characters to coat their entire body in haki, should they see fit to, but having a major enough draw back to ensure it isn't abused and their opponents have methods with which to deal with it. That also opens up ways for weaker opponents to deploy strategies to distract opponents so they can strike their exposed areas.
There was something to this effect in the Luffy vs Cracker fight, where Cracker's first genuine strike against Luffy's arm cut into him, despite him coating it to attack.
>just has to possess greater haki to get through the armor, which isn't very interesting and looks rather unappealing.
Not true. It's just a factor. There's way more at play than that.
>CoA is still invisible for the characters who doesn't know anything about haki.
He's talented, the problem's more with Enel's personality. If he had less of a literal God complex, he would be able to think about the possibility that he might have a weakness, and then train to get stronger and develop actual real relationships and alliances with people.
Also, I just really want to see Enel vs Kizaru.
That's false. CoA can be invisible, but post-timeskip, a new CoA technique is introduced, the Hardening technique, which coats the user with a layer of haki. However, people can still use CoA haki without using the coating.
Like in pic related, plenty of example of invisible CoA haki post-timeskip.
I've never understood this "Jinbe joins the crew" meme. It always felt to me that the Straw Hat crew was complete when it split up before the timeskip and reunited after. Nothing has contradicted this except for Luffy being his usual, impulsive, recruit-happy self. He's asked a lot of people to join his crew on a whim that didn't. It's been like 6 or 7 years, do you really think there's another crewman to be added?
Speed, natural toughness of your weapon/body, added effect (ex: fire based attack, ice based attack, etc.), skills, natural strength, weight etc. All that is still at play. Haki is just another factor.
True, but it made his fights incredibly boring as a result. Again, I have no issue with him being able to do it, but it should have some sort of draw back so the characters can play with it and make the fight more interesting.
It'd make sense for Sanji to not know about Vergo's aptitude for CoA and to try attacking him with his armor up, thus playing into Vergo's strengths and losing as a result. Smoker could have known about his abilities and tried to deal with him, but lost despite that. But Law would have known about it in depth and could have factored that into his strategy, that'd be an interesting way of showing how strong he is outside of just having an amazing devil fruit.
Wouldn't have been easier to kill BM by finding another Devil Fruit and tricking her into eating it during one of her rampages?
>but post-timeskip, a new CoA technique is introduced
Not possible. It would mean no one in the Marineford war was able to do it. Which is ridiculous since it's a standard new world technique.
I'm with this guy. It being invisible to people who don't know haki is way more logical. Oda wouldn't create a huge plothole when there's this very easy way to explain it available.
But I suppose it's very hard to find a DF to begin with, and to get your hand on it. Not to mention one DF is worth a ton of money so in most cases you either eat it right away or sell it.
It's probably not common knowledge that DF reappars in a fruit nearby when their user is killed.
>It would mean no one in the Marineford war was able to do it.
When did I ever say that? Try reading more slowly next time.
I said that the haki being used at Marineford was the invisible kind, and haki was definitely being used because Whitebeard was able to hit Akainu.
It just wasn't the same that Luffy uses when he does his hardening. And if you bothered to look at my pretty picture, you would have seen examples of people using CoA haki, like Tashigi, Pekoms and Luffy vs Smoker/Caesar, without the black colour, showing that haki can still be invisible even if the MC knows what it is, and that the black shading isn't just a visual style
Hmm, good points. I suppose I just haven't felt like there's been enough of that variety of influences displayed in recent, relatively even fights.
The finale between Cracker and Luffy was rather clever on Luffy's part, it's just odd that Cracker suddenly became unable to pierce Luffy when he's shown cutting him initially. Perhaps you can chalk that up to Luffy not fully guarding on that first cut or Cracker's sword being more adept at cutting over slicing. Either way, I'm primarily hoping for some interesting fights with the remaining combatants at the tea party once the flashback is over. There's a lot of interesting fruits about and it'd be a shame not seeing the full potential of some of them.
Nope, people at MF would have used it if were better. It's a visual aid for the same shit people at MF were using, but it's otherwise invisible.
Yonkous have enormous powers and influence, not like Bege. BM probably get gifted food-related fruit.
Smile seemed to be pretty complicated to fabricate, since you needed a giant factory.
That's exactly what you said. If CoA is a new technique, it means no one in Marineford war was able to use it. Which is ridiculous. So, i'm choosing to believe that some people have used it but we couldn't see it.
average price of a df is 200m berry, the same price as a going merry tier ship. they're not really that expensive unless if youre buying a super fruit like the ope ope or a logia
Cracker vs Luffy was pretty disappointing desu. I don't understand why Cracker let Luffy run away and eat his biscuits for 11 hours straight when Cracker was initially shown to be stronger than Luffy.
Or he could've at least gone for Nami to get rid of the rain that was making the biscuits soft and edible, which would've resulted in either taking out Nami which prevented Luffy from destroying and eating his soldiers so easily, or at least it would've baited out Luffy so Cracker could attack him with an advantage.
>it's just odd that Cracker suddenly became unable to pierce Luffy
How is this odd? Him being fat reduce the impact. Him getting hit on his arm, the less inflated part of his body, is what allowed Cracker to cut him. That's exactly what i'm saying. There's way more than haki at play.
Man, now that I think about it, that makes a lot of the bounties seem pretty cheap. You're talking about a devil fruit or small boat and some change for the person who demolished an entire military installation and small fleet in addition to other prior crimes.
One Piece was my favorite manga until the timeskip. I'm not ashamed to admit that.
But I fell out of love with it during Fishman Island. I don't know why, but it just wasn't doing it for me anymore. I finally stopped keeping up with it during early Dressrosa.
Should I give it another chance and catch up? It really meant a lot to me back then.
>CoA can be invisible, but post-timeskip, a new CoA technique is introduced, the Hardening technique, which coats the user with a layer of haki.
Fucking speed readers I swear to god.
Try reading my post again, this time extra slow for your special ed brain to comprehend it.
I said that post-timeskip, a new CoA TECHNIQUE is introduced, which means that there is a new way of using CoA haki which involves creating a black layer on your skin, but you can still using the original technique, the one that was shown at Marineford and that Pekoms and Tashigi use, which is invisible.
Caesar made the chemical that was shipped to Dressrosa on the tankers like the one on PH. That chemical was then turned into devil fruits which were shipped to Kaido.
I don't exactly remember why that was.
See, I actually really enjoyed the fight and how it ended. I liked seeing both combatants having a strategy, even if Luffy's relied on having Nami there. It put the commander's strength into perspective, at least in my mind, as it's made clear that Luffy would have most likely lost without her there.
The end of the fight was also great in that it happened due to a mistake made by Cracker who was shown to be both exhausted and exasperated that he was being pushed this far. He likely hasn't had much experience in a fight that went that long and thus his mistake, which required Luffy to register and capitalize on, was quite cathartic.
As you said though, it was a bit odd that Cracker was shown being able to cut through Luffy's Gear 4 armor and yet from there on out we didn't really see him harming. That and him not going for Nami. It could have been fine if they'd shown him doing that and either Nami or Luffy doing something to stop him, that's definitely a mistake in my eyes.
However, I can give it a pass overall, given that you could say that he played more defensively once he realized it was a 2v1 as he seemed pretty risk averse initially, but it would have been nice to see him get some damage in.
Yes. Fishman Island sucks, but Punk Hazard and Dressrosa are both better
still not amazingon the reread when you aren't waiting weekly, and the last 2 arcs have been easily the best since the timeskip and things are just getting started.
Now's one of the best times to give it another shot.
I think it was because artificial devil fruits don't always grow correctly, and the Tontattas are really good gardeners, so Doflamingo can ensure that the chances of growing a successful devil are higher than normal.
You are the retard here. I'm telling you. IF ITS A NEW TECHNIQUE IT MEANS NO ONE IN MARINEFORD COULD USE IT. WHICH IS STUPID. ITS AN INCOHERENCE MORON. That's why i'm justifying it differently. Shut the fuck up now.
That's it. I knew I was forgetting a detail somewhere. It's a pretty convoluted setup, but it's completely fine. It's fitting for Doffy's enterprise to needlessly complex so he can have more strings to pull.
I worded that post poorly, I apologize, as my real main issue was that, over an 11 hour period, Cracker supposedly doesn't look to cut Luffy, which he should be able to do, when he's not in Gear 4th.
You're right in that the actual finale attack which caught Cracker out is fine, clever even and makes sense for the reasons you listed and the fact that Cracker was likely exhausted at that point.
I'm not saying that CoA haki is suddenly invented during the time-skip, I'm saying that there are different types of ways to use CoA haki, the invisible kind that is introduced by Garp at Water 7 and Marineford, and the black kind that is introduced post-timekip when Luffy does his 'Busoshoku: Koka' hardening thing
Well look at it this way
>Luffy took his from Yonkou who was excited to have the fruit in the first place
>Chopper got lucky
>Robin was part of organization ruled by Shichibukai, fruit was most likely purchased by Croc
>Brook was travelling
Only chopper got his off the street
I don't believe you are saying that. And i have no problem with two ways of using haki existing. It's probably true. I'm just saying that it's not possible that no one used CoA(black) in Marinford. Which is why i believe they did but we couldn't see it.
>using colored pages as evidence
You're a goddamn retard.
Even then, Oda regularly forget to draw small details. He forgot to draw Luffy's missing tooth and Sanji's goatee just this arc. The odd exception that you may find means nothing in that case.
Rayleigh (meaning ODA) stated that CoA is invisible and it was shown to be during Marineford. Everyone in the NW didn't simultaneously discover a new, unheard of CoA technique in the 2 year timeskip.
Dressrosa makes a lot more sense once it's over. I look back on it a lot more fondly now, even though I was annoyed while it was happening.
Now the pace feels breakneck by comparison, but it's a whole lot of fun, and as long as he uses all that time in Dressrosa for a payoff, I won't begrudge him for it.
Thank you. I needed some direction. Catching up it is.
I was always worried it had just run its course and was destroyed by its own length, but it seems everything's fine.
Mythical Dracula Zoan
Comes from Drakul, mean son of dragons.
Dracula originally could transform into a dragon, mist, bats, control the weather and do so much shit that it makes sense the most wanted man in the world would have such an overpowered fruit on his grasp.
Probably because it's one of the most built up arcs in the entire series, but it was just an excuse to halfway show off the new powerups while still concealing a lot.
Also, the final boss is literally a boat.
Didn't charge for labor or supplies. That boat would cost a fortune.
Yeah, there's tons of ways it could have played out. I think it's just annoying we weren't really shown how it did, even a panel or two would have been enough just to get a sense of what happened. The actual beginning and end were great in my mind though, I fucking love Luffy using the inflation properties of rubber to maximum effect.
I really just want more fights like this one moving forwards, two relatively even guys doing some creative shit with their powers and pushing themselves to their limits.
This plan wouldn't work for two primary reasons:
1. You have to swallow the Devil Fruit to gain its power as said by Buggy, and thus presumably you won't die from simply tasting another Devil Fruit, you have to actually swallow it and attempt to gain the 2nd ability to explode.
2. Devil Fruit's taste fucking awful as explained by everyone we've seen on screen eating one. The moment you tasted a Devil Fruit, you would probably know even if they snuck it into your meal, presumably the horrid taste overpowers everything else accompanying it. Thus, the moment you taste the rancid fruit, you would immediately spit it out and so, without swallowing it, the assassination plot is ruined.
>Dressrosa was a good arc.
It certainly comes across better when read in one or two sittings. I definitely enjoyed it, but it was a bit tough to read at the time.
It's a bit like those films that could have been good if they'd been edited down, but instead tried to do too many things or stretch out their source material. It also didn't help that there were so many secondary and tertiary characters all at once, but damn if a lot of them weren't charming.

Jinbeposting is a synonym of quality
Which devil fruit power would you eat? Mine would be pic related.
Punk Hazard is the same way. If you read them both over the course of a couple days, your impression would likely be much higher than the people who read week to week would feel.
Daifuku's one honestly looks really cool. Its one of those fruits where you'd think being a lamp human would be useless, but it can actually be pretty strong.
If I had the choice? Pika Pika no Mi.
It just looks so incredibly powerful for combat in terms of meele, ranged and maneuverability and is also probably great for traveling around easily.
Ope Ope no Mi. Law got dealt a great hand by being force-fed the fruit. Thing is great. It may do a bit too much, but who the fuck cares.
Or, you know, he could have just been more scarce with the logia types instead of selling those fruits in a supermarket.
It's true it would get boring if Luffy had to find a certain weakness everytime, however, this really wouldn't be a problem if there simply weren't so many logia types.
I think you might overstimate how much the everyday citizen is busy with pirates on a daily basis. They're just normal people. They don't care unless they come to their town to implied rape and implied pillage.
Atleast that's how I see it.
It's not amazing since it is still a lead-in arc, but there's a lot of stuff, mostly with Law, that I think doesn't come across as well on the first read.
I'm not sure whether my enjoyment came from reading it in a sitting, or having Dressrosa context, since the whole arc had a lot of mystery surrounding it originally.
I know it's a weird pic, but i think i'd take the cube-cube fruit from pic related
If Kaku isn't at least on your top 10 I don't know why you are reading One Piece
If you don't pick Big Mom's fruit you are kinda retarded. Eat peoples souls to live forever. And create armies of minions from everyday objects. Control the weather. Control people.
Literally the God fruit
so how is oda going to transition into the wano arc?
I-It's not fair bros! Why is that fat boring fish joining instead of my waifu! REEEEEEEEEEEE! Y-year of Jinbe's death!
You are now the newest member of the Straw Hat crew. You have missed every single large event they Straw Hats have gone through so far. You don't even know what the fuck an Alabasta is. You weren't there when they declared war on the goverment. You didn't get blasted away by Kuma and come back after 2 years for a great reunion. You don't even know what the fuck they are talking abotu half the time. They have so many inside jokes.
Pretty sure, you would get killed really easily. Someone is going to understand there's something wrong, some incoherence in what people believe, video tape etc. and you have to be alone with someone to do it. Phoenix fruit is safer/easier.
>Pretty sure, you would get killed really easily.
And why would anyone kill me? I'm not planning to conquer the world or anything.
>Phoenix fruit is safer/easier.
Becoming Superman sounds like a pain in the ass
Antics aside the Strawhats are really really nice people.
But you're not getting invited to the crew unless you're useful or a funny skeleton. I assume I have some talent or ability, so I would work very hard to make myself valuable to the crew.
I have to agree with this.
I considered giving up on OP during Dressrosa as it was beginning to drag severely and since post time skip i had been underwhelmed at the Arcs given but I have to say now that Dressrosa is finished and you can read it all one chapter after the next without breaks it is a genuinely good Arc with good story telling, a good villain (I do think it was a kind of missed opportunity though not to flesh out Doffy as having redeeming aspects such as love for his family) and good foreshadowing.
Dressrosa suffered from week breaks and as such everyone suffered with lethargy.
>Becoming Superman sounds like a pain in the ass
Ah, you are right. I have already tought about that
>Have you heard that? This fucking phoenix guy is sleeping 10 hours a day and barely save anyone
> What a jerk, if i was him i would work my ass off
The whole world would try to shame you.
One thing that astonishes me about Dressrosa is that Crocodile wasn't in it after Oda went out of his way to show us that he hates Doflamingo. If not then, where, when, is this going to come up?
Phoenix Fruit is broken IRL. There's no seastone, so your powers are always on. Bullets and bombs wouldn't bother you.
You can also fly. You'd be extremely well paid and invincible, as governments couldn't control you.
Hie Hie no mi and Pika Pika are also top tier choices, but they don't allow flight and (I'm assuming) they have a natural weaknesses that renders them vulnerable, such as water for Croc/Katakuri and rubber for Enel. Those weaknesses would make you easily Killarney by the US government.
Whereas Marcos fruit lets you fly and be invincible.
Why would it need to come up again? I would imagine most people at Marineford disliked Doflamingo, doubly so if they're weaker than him which Crocodile likely was at that point.
They'd have to trap you in seawater, but good luck when you can fly like a bird.
Honestly having a broken combat DF may be more trouble than its worth. You'd be better off having something like Mem Mem.
One thing that astonishes me about Dressrosa is that 13th Division Commander Atmos wasn't in it after Oda went out of his way to show us that he hates Doflamingo. If not then, where, when, is this going to come up?
>You'd be extremely well paid and invincible, as governments couldn't control you.
But again, why would you want that? You will become world number 1 threat. You will never live a normal life. Your family/friends will always be in danger. Even if you have great powers, your mind still human.
Lot of responsibility. I stick with something that it's easy to hide and that can be useful on my daily life.
Does anyone else feel really bad for Sugar?
I mean, we didn't have a problem seeing her as a villain because she was dangerous and technically an adult, but her behavior makes it extremely clear that she's still emotionally a child.
Naturally the WG will try her as an adult, so she's probably going to impel down.
And you know what else? She probably didn't even know her sister was dead yet? Why would she? Do you think Doffy would want his most important officer to be an insensible crying child when his kingdom is under attack? Imagine Trebol trying to evacuate her in the middle of a tantrum and there is no Trebol and there never has been
So now, after being so scared so hard she passed out twice, losing her home and while being shipped to a maximum security prison that's almost certainly full of violent pedophiles, a little girl is now learning that her sister was murdered
You're overthinking the pedophile bit
That's the thing. You know how Oda likes to play this kind of tricks to outsmart the fans, everyone forgets Momo's fruit is an artificial one created by Vegapunk.
I'm talking about the natural Dragon Zoan fruit.
Air Logia would be lame as fcuk. Just try to picture it for a moment, it'll make up for shit fights.
>Smoke logia would be lame as fcuk. Just try to picture it for a moment, it'll make up for shit fights.
>String Paramecia would be lame as fcuk. Just try to picture it for a moment, it'll make up for shit fights.
>Rubber paramecia would be lame as fcuk. Just try to picture it for a moment, it'll make up for shit fights.
He's a logia. Did you see any fucking dragons walking around in Loguetown? He literally appeared out of thin air.
Sabo's bland but he's cute when paired with Koala. I wish she had more cute official art...
You missed my post, I want my (You) right now.
>He literally appeared out of thin air.
Yes, like Shanks in MarineFord. I mean, the place was full of top-tier fighters and no one noticed him before he parred Akainu's attack ? Only one explanation : Shanks is the wind Logia.
I was being sarcastic if you couldn't tell. Appearing out of thin air is just shit story telling because it's a frigging chinese cartoon.
I think the biggest personal Enel face from the series is seeing Koala pop up again with Sabo the first time. I did not expect it at all
Jinbe reunion when? If Oda kills Jinbe before they can meet I'll personally nuke Japan a third and fourth time
everyone treats momo's fruit as some kind of gag fruit but its literally the most powerful zoan there is. once he became an adult and mastered his powers just imagine what kind of god he'll become spitting lightning and fire from his mouth. hell he can probably grant wishes like the dragon ball sheng long
KoaSab! I love them! Thanks Oda for make them real!
>reading the current arc again
>Yonji got BTFO hard by Sanji
>Sanji blocked his father's sharped spear with CoA
Why the fuck did I forgot about this? I truly failed for the jobber memes
They're cute because they are literally Sanji x Nami
Jinbe's death has been foreshadowed since FI.
I'm actually starting to wonder if Oda is making it blaringly obvious that he's gonna die so he can surprise everyone by keeping alive.
Either way he isn't joining. If he does manage to stay alive, he'll be a fleet commander, not a crewmember.
Well, yeah... Sanji one shotted Sheepshead, off-screened Yonji, proved himself stronger than his dad in their fight... He's doing really fine. Not his fault Big Mom and Judge are horrible people and he's too kind.
No one's buying the Dragon is literally a dragon theory. Stop cold calling /a/ with this.
Robin is actually Luffy's mother. Robin is actually a time traveler.
Pudding is CUTE and Sanji WIFE.
>If he does manage to stay alive, he'll be a fleet commander, not a crewmember.
Not possible. He left his crew and left Big Mom's to join the strawhats. He is either joining or dying.
I liked the idea that his willingness to sacrifice himself for Luffy's sake will be his big issue to deal with in his character arc moving forwards. That, teamed with learning to be a bit more open to following his own desires over prioritizing the desires and well being of others.
Even recently, when discussing his plans to defect from Big Mom with his crew, that willingness to prioritize others and to sacrifice himself for Luffy was brought up.
If nothing else I could only imagine him dying quite late on in the story. Most of the other Straw Hats have some end goal that they're directly aiming for and killing them off would be a massive narrative blow. Jinbei on the other hand has already fulfilled one of his major ambitions by joining up with Luffy, which goes hand in hand with his other major goal in the form of Fishman Island being safe and accepted. That dream can happen without him being alive to see it through as he could leave it in Luffy's hands.
No she is not, sweetie
Suke Suke no Mi
The possibilities are endless
What if the whole "Wano Team" of the Straw Hats got killed?
What characters from this arc could join as replacements?
Dammit, forgot picture
Hope you like the conclusion
I presume he means the follow up to the Colette situation where Sanji went to track down whoever hurt her, but couldn't do anything in the end due to the Zeff threat.
The unexpected abuse of the clones was what hampered him against Judge.
Hey does anybody know why One Piece was set to expire from Hulu but never did? I checked back today and apparently they're no longer expiring??? But all the new episodes after the filler with Silver are gone
Eh, Pedro and Amande are more direct in their fighting. Cracker's powers would be a bit too over the top to work for regular combat, that and his default tactic is somewhat cowardly which definitely doesn't fit.
i want to fuck her
i want to cuddle her
i want to fuck her
i want to cuddle her
i want to fuck her
i want to cuddle her
You're in denial. He literally just left Big Mom's crew and was asked by Luffy to join the SH. The fleet joined out of their own freedom. Luffy didn't personally ask them to join the SH. It's completely different from Jinbei's case.
This is just getting sad. Your best hope is that he flat out dies.
Will Gastino's weapons do the job? Will he finally surpass Vegapunk?
So will Coby end up adopting Luffy's son after he's executed who then grows up and joins Law's pirate crew?
Probably not, but I'm not ruling it out.
I thought the idea that Prometheus and Zeus could block a shot each made some sense, perhaps the final one getting through would do enough damage to incapacitate her for a while. But who knows what they'll do, her physiology is pretty odd.
The people who make those pictures are impossible to appease.
Every human on Earth could turn black tomorrow and they'd STILL find something to bitch about. It's become a lifestyle to them, a livelihood to a select few, even.
Remember those old-ass rules of the internet? If a new one was added today, it would be "if something exists, it's never diverse enough".
Stop bullying Gastino, he's doing his best
But they were supposed to pull all episodes on 4/28. All of then are still there save for everything after the silver mine filler.
As far as I know though, they've stopped simulcasting
Honestly? He'll likely just grab them and show them in pieces directly to Big Mom. I don't see him doing anything fancy with them as he's supposedly being restrained by Katakuri.
Fuck, I always forget that her hat sword is also one of those. Well it could still stand, it does still seem to be perched on her head. It may take the blow but be too close to have the negative effects on Big Mom negated.
The skin colors aren't even the worst parts of this picture.
I'd like to know where tumblr learns these horrid pseudo-cartoonish artstyles. It's like how to not do caricature.
Not to mention the disturbing way in which they try to force characters to be ugly and "realistic" while still looking attractive. It's a crappy parade of shapes and lines that add nothing to the art besides unnecessary, meaningless clutter.
How can a group of people fail so spectacularly at grasping the basic concept of aesthetics?
The spoilers mention Katakuri's exploits here >>157026953
As for the picture, it is also smashed apart too, which is odd now that you mention it.
Speaking of Coby, I doubt we see him become admiral before Luffy becomes pirate king. It's such a small amount of time left. He would also need a huge jump in power greater than Luffy's.
I've been spoiling 90% of the chapters for myself for the past 6-7 years
no self control I guess
What do you think that nigga coby has been doing the past two years? That fuccboy spent his time being trained by the Hero himself and by that I mean a proper training, not being thrown in jungles or anything. He will be a beast
Katakuri dodge Bege, Jinbei and Pedro, catch Luffy, Luffy shows the picture to Big Mom, she screams, they save the Vinsmoke in the chaos, they gave them their weapons, Big Mom flashback next chapter.
Yeah, but he was still much weaker than Luffy at marineford. He's going to have to jump to Admiral level, while Luffy will jump to yonkou level. There's a bigger jump for Coby to get to and Luffy spent all that time training as well. So if Luffy barely gets to that level, how will Coby manage that same feat even though he was much weaker?
Nothing else to do, hype is too great, seeing crazy hype moments with the thread can be fun. The G4 and Kaido excitement was unbelievable, and nothing has made laugh harder than seeing the Going Luffy-Senpai spoiler out of nowhere after refreshing the page

I think back to the time when my jobs first began
I left behind those shores of sand
For the endless everlasting jobs out there
I know that with this burning jobbing driving me
Some day some where I'll finally see
the job I have searched for everywhere(wheeere)
When the summer sun is jobbing
Jobbing the job of my heart, I know (fly away job blue sea)
A brand new job that had been hiding has opened up its jobs
for me to job(fly away glum job sky)
Swaying in the troubled jobs from all jobbing
I can be jobbed
For the job on the other side is
(job job job job) is what I job for
And though I've traveled far from where my job began
Over seas of jobs and shores of sand
through the endless everlasting jobs out there
I know that with this burning jobbing driving me
Some day, some where, I'll finally see
the job I have searched for everywhere
Have the courage, set sail and believe and we will job
A glimpse of the sun jobbing on a tomorrow.
Back when we first jobbed, we had separate jobs
Jobbed toward different jobs.
Things have jobbed now
For together we found we look through the spyglass and job,
And we know, that our jobs have brought us here.
Where the compass points our jobs,
There’s no looking back, take the job with me!
We cast off all our jobs, forget the past.
Though the future’s unclear
We still can job we know we’ll get there.
Every tear that we cry only helps our jobs come true.
You and those jobs are precious in my life.
A glimpse of the sun jobbing on a tomorrow!
