Episode 4.44 when?
Its an evil curse. If I'm not watching kemono friends I'm posting about it here, if I'm not posting them I'm searching boorus and pixiv for new images, if I'm not doing that I'm having a guilty
fapto friends. Its horrible but I love all of it
That's rakugo, you dumb niggers.
Probably won't to be honest. I doubt much will happen or it will be all that incredible in terms of the figures we find out from a historical point of view at least.
Oricon is bad for accuracy tracking books, they have far fewer stores for tracking it than BD/DVD. The Kadokawa store doesn't even report sales to them and they are one of the main retailers.
I wouldn't be surprised if they don't show up in the figures until the week after either. The figures published on the 24/25th would only go up to the 21st.
That said the leak of this weeks figures should be posted somewhere soon. The OP single CD got to 28598 sales this week. Might just manage to break 30k next week.
No I really enjoy watching the show still. Episode 11/12 still give me shivers in different ways and every other episode along the road is pure fun. I havent experience anime like this in a long time. It never gets old
Welcome to Welcome to Japari Park!
Once you're in, you can't pull yourself out!
Why is serval a portal to the otherworld now?
>Today, the Amur leopard inhabits about 5,000 km². The last remaining viable wild population, estimated at 57 individuals, is found in a small area in the Russian Province of Primorsky Krai, between Vladivostok and the Chinese border.
I bet the Chinese did this.
What's your favorite episode? Mine is Alpine. Everything involving Alpaca is so cute and the way her face lit up after she saw the coffee cup just makes me want to pat her head and tell her that she won't be lonely anymore and her hard work finally paid off.
I love 4. Sandcat and tsuchinoko are my favourite friends
Ideally, every episode. But my favorite out of them is 6, Lion & Moose are excellent and their voice actors bring their "A game" to the table. Aurochs + Oryx, Chameleon and the rest of Moose's army bring great comedy. Shoebill is top tier cute. And the episode itsef smacks you with PLOT at the end. Overall a very solid episode.
Probably Beaver and Prairie Dog. They're super cute together, and Prairie Dog in particular is especially endearing, kinda gives me an Akiyama Yukari vibe.
Desert and Plains were really good too though, and obviously episode 12.
You get both, but your humans kids will also be friends who grow their clothes.
Pretty much the exact reason to love her so.
Just say "This is something people do when they love each other very much".
Ignore the shitposter.
>You are not a Friend
Why did you have to remind me?
The entire episode is golden.
>the flight up (that music)
>singing on the tower
>Toki's improved singing
Here, have some Alpaca serving you tea and wiggling her ears.
All I have to do is buy her love with video games.
Haven't you heard? we crossed planes with some alternate universe sometime last year, frankly it's quite nice.
The more I find out about the making of the show the crazier it seems. It was a chain of improbable events that somehow lead to a miracle.
Hell even Nexon killing the mobage a month before the anime aired might have been a blessing in disguise as it added to the whole underdog vibe the show had.
I think she's the one I have the most pics of.
>Oricon is bad for accuracy tracking books, they have far fewer stores for tracking it than BD/DVD.
The difference is huge BD/DVD is tracked in 22,930 stores. Book sales is tracked in 3,858. Oricon numbers are far less reliable for books than BD/DVD.
He celebrated his 91st birthday three days ago.
What did you do on that day?
>wanting a fat snake in your mouth
I can help you with that, anon.
Didn't make it on the ranking this week.
Why does the mere mention of this show in other threads upset /a/ so much? Just posting that it was good in a thread about last season or anything gets me tons of replies telling me to die for being a furry bronie. It's somewhat addicting
Nobody likes people who post their honest opinions about a show? There shouldn't be any reason it can't be mentioned in those kind of conversations just like any other show would be permissible.
>gets me tons of replies
>It's somewhat addicting
Just another attention whore. The type of person who willingly goes into cancerous threads to argue with idiots, which then causes those idiots to come into these threads and shitpost constantly.
It's a mixture of things really.
First one would be that it is CGI. The majority of posters on /a/ think anything CGI based is automatically bad for no real justifiable reason besides the fact it is CGI. They will say this while holding terrible 2D anime series dear to themselves and dismissing western 2D animation of a much higher quality.
The second would be that it isn't really aimed at the teens and college student aged poster that dominate the boards demographic. People of that age are still trying to distance themselves from things that could be construed as childish for the most part in order to seem more adult. This is what leads to the equine comparisons as they perceive it to be a childrens show that adult males have latched onto incorrectly like the former show.
The third would be that it is far more popular and successful than their favourite show in Japan which they think is much more deserving. That always breeds jealously and contempt.
The mention of furries is either just newfags or people who already hate looking for another label to dismiss it with.
What sort of career will someone focus on who's caring for 4 dogs and 4 cats (maybe more), and watches safariLIVE everytime they go live to fill the empty void left by Kemono Friends?
Asking for a
I don't know if you've realized this, but most of /a/ is pretty shitty these days, and not much better than reddit, tumblr, etc. The fact that you're bragging about getting replies from them by bringing up Kemono Friends in their threads is pretty pathetic
Probably a poor job or 2 for a year before getting something OK that you have for the next 3-4. Then maybe if you are lucky you will land something related to that which you are passionate for but it utterly terrible, stick through it and you will make it
Or suicide now and enter japari park
Pretty much. I honestly don't even look in threads for other shows. Even the ones I am watching this season now I have finally started it. Usually I maybe frequent the threads for one show a season but some seasons it will be none at all like this one. I browsed Flip Flappers threads during that season. There really isn't much here for me now other than these threads.
I blame facebook. Anyone I know off 4chan these days follows various facebook anime groups for the "memes". Then the come post them on here and pretend to fit in. If they weren't my only real social contact I'd cut them off. Instead I have to settle for shitting on them any time they bring that trash up.
I wouldn't be surprised if they visited reddit too, I just don't want to know anymore so I don't bring it up
I'm sure it has gotten worse just over the last year or so too. I used to at least be able to find some people who had a decent knowledge of things like animation production, industry workings, notable names and seem to want to have an interesting and intelligent discussion about anime. Now outside of these threads its pretty rare from my experience to even be worth spending time to write a worthwhile post. Just epic memes and shitposts, arguments about subs, best girl and so on.
If we are talking about what ruined /a/. I blame (you)s/people caring about replies.
People purposely post opinions that will flare up arguments and shitpost just to get replies not realising it's killing this site. I've stopped going into threads for shows I used to like since I just know it will be full of shitposters looking for easy replies. I just don't understand the appeal
picking it up with a friend of mine and binge watching it was the best decision as far as drunk decisions go.
fishing for replies was always a thing.
(you)s just make it more apparent.
after talking about higher dimensions, beer brewing and programming topics seem to end.
>I just don't understand the appeal
(You)s aren't inherently bad. Once in a great while, I'll post a comment that sets off a burst of decent discussion. Those (You)s are good for both my ego and the thread. Pissing people off for fun, however, has never made sense to me.
It would be great if it made production committees realize that good writing and careful execution under passionate leadership is a valid path to success. Unfortunately, I expect it to teach them that low budget CGI is the next big thing to increase profits.
This. (you)s are simply just another way of asking for attention. However, while posting a cheap bait and getting a lot of (you)s is easy, it doesn't compare to writing a proper meaningful comment and it having (you)s because it means your effort was appreciated by many, something you don't get with bait because it's something you whipped up if 5 minutes and most of all anyone could have done as well, while your proper comment is unique and something only you could have written.
Attention is attention all the same, but positive attention > negative attention all times. Not all (you)s are made equal.
>It would be great if it made production committees realize that good writing and careful execution under passionate leadership is a valid path to success.
This would make me extremely happy. There are so many well-produced anime that fail because of bad writing and execution.
>Do you think Kemono Friends will attract imitators?
Did we get many idol anime after [email protected]/LL, isekai after SAO or grimdark mahou shojou after Madoka?
Instead of something creative or new, we'll see some half assed insect girls or such, gotta jump on animal girls bandwagon.
No, besides airing days it was 4 or 5 hours at its fastest. I've gone from obsessively reading every post to just skimming threads I miss due to lack of time so I'm alright with it for now.
Jesus fuck, it's been a year since his 90th birthday already? Where did the time fly?

Guidebook Release Dates
a daugher's pic
Guys, it's only just hit me.
Kemono Friends season 1 has ended.
I mean it never really felt like it until now. We always had a little something to look forward to on a weekly basis.
I wonder who'll be voicing her once she is back.
Well they took out PE2 last year, but that's because 90 was a round number and was promoted to hell and back. If they would've rushed it just the same it would've been out by now. But yeah, there were plenty of celebrations and special editions last year. There was also the first screening of the Great Barrier Reef and the special interview among a whole bunch of reruns. Not sure if the color version of Zoo Quest or the Obama interview got released before or after though.
Quite possibly the best single frame of the show.
Be right back
Making a Fennec and Arai-san for WWE 2k17 so I can have them win the TagTeam title in SummerSlam
>Anyone I know off 4chan these days follows various facebook anime groups for the "memes"
>Met a lot of my friends here on /a/
>We share the same tastes on literally everything and I can discuss anything with them
>Can play games together, watch stuff together and talk about it
>They never do cancerous shit and we're just best bros forever
Sounds like you need better friends anon.
>Implying anyone here can afford to choose friends
I'm a normalfag (job, own place, friends, social life) besides the fact that I have browsed 4chan for 10 or so years and watched and researched anime heavily for 15-20 years. I don't have any internet friends at all though, no use for them.
Just have to be willing to look for them and you'll be making good friends in no time.
Getter Robo. Specifically, the Black Getter from Getter Robo: Armageddon.
The West will only recognize this show as the one with the otaku penguin, right?
I just mean I have no use for friends on the internet. I just wouldn't keep up with them or put any time into building them. I've had some in the past on IRC channels that are now defunct but currently all my social needs are fulfilled by other means.
reddit, MAL, FB and forums who deconstructs the series and making 2DEEP4U postsabout it to check for news and compare reactions.
Most amusing one I read so far was calling Grape a weeabo(He doesn't count as one right? I mean he's in a Japanese Zoo), zookeepers should remove the cardboard cutout because it's causing harm to the pengi, getting mad for isolating him behind a net, getting angry because they mate for life and the cardboard's stopping it
(cutout only 7 people knows is more important to the pengi's life www)and laughing at them for posting Gen and Emperor and calling them Hululu.
The rest of the doujin is pretty good vanilla, but then it takes a turn for the worst. Hakase looks very wise on page 5!
This show taught us many important things.
>Never judge a show because it's CG instead of traditional/digital media
>Always attempt to resolve conflict in a way where both sides can come out as winners
>Even if you can't do anything, you can always do something.
I just want fucking SFW doujins
with plenty of heavy petting.
Owls should be flat.
I'm sad there isn't more like it.
Nigger. Even if we have a full naked Friends on the show, their eroticism would have the same impact as classical art
This doujin had everything to be cute and heartwarming.
I see, what's with Kemono Friends and all these mecha anime crossovers?
There's just a lot of people that like both, I suppose. Also your picture isn't a mech anime reference, it's a Tokusatsu one.
Because Japanese love their giant robots.
I want to take away the cloth, gently push her outside, and lock her out from entering, just to see how distressed she'd become.
If it didn't distress her and she tried to walk away naked, I'd run the fuck out and stop her because indecent exposure is a crime.
>The thought of tricking friends into stripping naked because they didnt know it came off is not arousing at all
>Them thanking you instead of slapping you as you teach them about their bodies because of how surprised they are at your knowledge
Yeah anon I think you're just homosexual
Would a friend smell of animal musk of the animal they are based on or would it be a womanly musk smell, maybe even a combination of both.
>I see, what's with Kemono Friends and all these mecha anime crossovers?
Whatever the case is I hope they never stop making them.
>The show was barren of any sexuality
I see you have skipped episode 8.
>and even if it does, it's not arousing at all
That's just because the CGI is not exactly good. It works for what it's meant to do, but that's about it.
I also lurk but because I'm desperate for content
Do you also get aroused by ballet dancers? You fiend
Leotards have been a part of art since forever.
It's been on my radar ever since I saw the Mexican GaoGaiGar. I'll get around to it eventually.
Again. Context and style matters
Jesus is half naked but no one jacks off to him. But draw the same picture, give him some oily sweaty skin, and some beefy jack arms and you got crusaders squeeling in glee
>Jesus is half naked but no one jacks off to him
You can bet your ass someone has done it.
Episode 3 (the one where they first show up) is probably my favorite of the whole series.
I wish they got their own spinoff or something.
> hilariously bad
It's fucking not. It's cheap, but done masterfully. It's creative, has unique style and aesthetics, uses unusual for 3DCG techniques, and adds to show's pace and athmosphere. Anime was never about high-quality animation, it was always about limited animation.
To 10% animal smell, 90% woman smell.
A Mecha crossover is actually why I picked this show up.
>Strip in front of the owls
>They curiously examine your dick because they have never seen one before
>Their face of curiosity and amazement when you explain how it was made goes inside them
>Context and style matters
I'll give you style, but those are idols. They quite literally exist to be fapped to. Just look at their huge bare asses, there's no way someone would do that and think "there is absolutely nothing sexual with that".
If this was done with conventional 2D instead of
this CGI I can guarantee you that it would be arousing.
Mecha goes great with everything.
Being entertaining is part of their job but that's the least of their priorities, really.
They must be pure, they must be relatable, and they must have good social image.
It is Japan's way for making their youth aspire to be good people.
And literally no one will care about you if you fucking suck at your job.
If your voice sounds like cats scratching a blackboard and you have two left feet then it doesnt matter if you're a super approachable nun, you're just going to be a regular girl.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
It is written in the wikipedia itself
>"In the 1990s, instead of being marketed as people who lived better and were better than average, idols became people who just happened to have a little something to become popular."
[email protected] and WuG are the prime examples of how NOT to market idols
I thought I had that picture of Margay as the screaming guy from WuG but apparently I don't.
[email protected] has been around for more than a decade already. Even if they went 2nd gen, DereSute or whatever they do nowadays, people will still eat it up. It's very self-sustaining.
It was sucessful, yes. But they show that they are no longer about "idols"
They've been marketing their girls as sluts, anon
You know what that means for a franchise
>Massively rakes in cash and has one of the most popular mobages
More like they know exactly how to market idols.
Its easy to pretend to know how things work but putting them in practice and having them work out is completely different.
I'm not sure why you're being so autistic about this. No one said the only qualifications for being an idol are being pure. That's just one of the most important things they do. If you really think idols are uniformly good at singing and dancing then you must not have much experience with them.
As opposed to Love Live who not once every showed a single panty shot, so much younger, and was known to have started as a failure that sold only 500 CDs on debut day but has long surpassed [email protected]?
>I'm not sure why you're being so autistic about this.
I'm pretty sure you're the one being autistic here about how everything has to be super pure and wholesome or they're not tru idols. And the stuff about how you can suck at your job and be a burden on everyone just because you're cute is laughable.
>And the stuff about how you can suck at your job and be a burden on everyone just because you're cute is laughable.
That's called "Genki" archetype and yes, it is found as cute in Japan
Sugoi! You're a friend who's good at rapping!
Love live had fanservice too including a beach episode with bad umi puns so they're definitely not above fanservice. And lets not forget the scandal about honoka doing JAV videos. Truly an example to japanese youth right?
No, you're just exaggerating everything for no reason. Nobody said "you can suck at your job and be a burden just because you're cute".
It's common knowledge that idols aren't permitted to do things like date, and if you break those rules you're subject to being sued and shamed hard enough that you lose your career. I would call that a pretty big job requirement personally.
I mean, it's really not that different from the west. There are plenty of pop stars here who can barely sing or dance that are massive hits. We have technology that enables them to be successful even if they aren't great performers. Same with Japan.
Swimsuits are not pantyshots. They never even made such a big deal over it and they spent more time at the house than at the beach
And stop that Honoka AV. It was never their market
I hope S2 has some fish or arthropod Friends
They got popular because they made catchy songs or successful discs. Even if you dont like them, you have to admit they managed to get inside everyone's head.
If I'm an idol otaku then why would I want to support this idol that is literally just one more cute face over this idol who's actually cute, works hard to achieve her goals and has a great voice?
>Continuing to insist there will be fish and insect friends
Well if you wanted to play it that way then remember that [email protected] seiyus all casted on eroges
Because idol otaku are weirdos, even by regular otaku standards. You can't apply normal logic to them.
No one is pretending they're nuns or the purest girls ever. You said Love live above fanservice and sex but its the series that has the scandal about how the main character did JAV porn but everyone still loves her and pretends it didn't happen.
Sex sells, fanservice sells and its just the way things are.
A shot for every time Boss says "makasete".
A shot for every time Kaban looks scared.
A shot for every "tabenaide kudasai".
And it is. The creators of the porn has already confirmed that it was a different actress
Is there anything canonically saying that fish and insects don't turn into friends when Sandstared. No there isn't so the possibilities are up the imagination.
Mecha has one of the best stories ever told.
It's pretty easy for KF to adapt mecha gimmicks.
Yes, all because they know that their market is about purity and innocence.
Unlike [email protected] which caters sluts
Eureka Seven was great and is one of the few anime I went back to and rewatched. I would say opening 3 is my favourite OP in that series.
>Or would you want to live together, like Beaver and Prairie Dog? Seems fun!
Why didn't Kaban answer her?
only if it's sexy black jesus
damn he fine
Guys, help. My FA Girls image library is starting to outpace the KF one. It's just because today was a slow day, right?
>Jump off the flowing river
>Fall from the mountain
>Hit by a truck
>Hit a falling tree
>Froze to death
>Jump into freezing water
>Hit by owls
>Actually killed by Ceruleans.
Almost 9 man. That would be perfect if it's 9.
>People says Serval fucking dies every episode
>In episode 11 she actually fucking dies
>And then Kaban fucking dies
Episodes 11 and 12 were such a wild ride.
I need more crossovers of my favorite movie and Kemono Friends.
I want to shag with Jag
>The second would be that it isn't really aimed at the teens and college student aged poster that dominate the boards demographic. People of that age are still trying to distance themselves from things that could be construed as childish for the most part in order to seem more adult. Not really true since people still shame people who bring up the "I only watch mature anime for mature people like myself" reasoning.
>The mention of furries is either just newfags or people who already hate looking for another label to dismiss it with.
That is just plain shitposting.
>Not really true since people still shame people who bring up the "I only watch mature anime for mature people like myself" reasoning.
Which is an irony in itself. They watch stuff that has no value other than it's cute and/or cool without even consider how stupid or mindless the stuff they watch. Kemono Friends has those as well. It's cute and mindless, but it has a vibe and subtlety that makes it smart.
