It sure hit all the right notes for me. Shit was pretty damn intense at times. The quality went down a bit after they arrested Makishima, but great all in all.

Who says it´s pseudo profound? Yeah, sometimes exaggerates by quoting specific phrases of famous autors, but it still nailed it. I don´t like the little development the girl had.

Also, should I watch the movie? I haven´t watched S2.

I've watched season 2 but not the movie. I didn't feel like like I was missing anything

Even though season 2 wasn't as strong, I still got my PP kick out of it. I really enjoy the setting and would love to see more of Akane being a badass!

the movie will be confusing without having watched S2 since there are some characters from S2 in the movie, but it could be enjoyable as a stand alone, heck I bought the BD
